Communal Kutaisi Hotel

Very nice decor. Central location. The reception lady was very polite. The general whatsapp number of the communal group was not responsive, and it was an issue when we were searching for directions. However, the lady at the reception when we arrived, gave us her direct number on whatsapp. The reason why i didn't give a high score to the service, is for the actual managment on the hotel. They bothered selling a big selection of goods at the mini bar (even vapes), but didn't bother leaving a vanity set for their guests in the bathroom or a conditioner for hair. There was an issue with the water pressure in the room as well and keep in mind there is no elevator...However, if i ever do visit Kutaisi again, i might return since hotel options are very limited in that city. Rooms were not very soundproof.

Charming and stylish hotel with a retro aesthetic was very comfortable and attractive. Breakfast was one of the most amazing included hotel breakfasts we have ever had. The only knock is that the room needed some TLC / maintenance, as far as fittings and fixtures, and the safe didn't work, etc. Relatively minor things and we will definitely be back!

We stayed here for 3 nights having travelled round Georgia. We loved this hotel are both in our 60's. We did apparently have the best room, it had a massive bath in it. The decor in this hotel is inspiring, how the building has been brought back to life. The staff, were so friendly/helpful, particularly mention to Kristina the manager. The restaurant called Doli, really excellent, very tasty food. Great staff, so friendly. We highly recommend a stay here. Alison

We love boutique stays with just a handful of rooms and service provided by local businesses. We spent two nights here and adored our cozy room overlooking the pool. Everything worked smoothly, and we felt right at home. There’s no lift, but it’s just one flight up, so it wasn’t an issue. Breakfast wasn’t included, but we discovered Tuta nearby, an ideal spot for an early morning bite, with great coffee and a relaxed vibe. If we return to Kutaisi, we’d happily stay here again.

Absolutely fantastic experience! The hotel was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. The location was perfect, and the amenities exceeded our expectations.

We stayed at 2 of the Communal group of hotel on a recent trip to Georgia: both can be characterised as good quality and well equipped, decorated with flair.|Kutaisi is a historic city in western Georgia, surrounded by attractive countryside and small towns and villages. Communal Kutaisi is central, its street including residences, shops and other accommodation.|It's a small hotel, the building also housing high-quality restaurant Doli - we ate there and it was one of the best meals of our trip.|Our room was a spacious queen room decorated with flourish, with a balcony that was great for sunset and people watching. The room was clean and well serviced.|The bathroom had a good walk-in shower. A cabinet for toilet bags would be a good addition.|The staff were great - welcoming, friendly and obliging - so kind carrying our bags up the stairs.|Given the loveliness of this locality, and the quality and personality of this hotel, we would have liked to stay longer than one night.

A very nice and charming hotel with refined, tasteful design and comfortable rooms. They have a lovely manager who will welcome you at the front desk. It’s ideal for couples or solo travelers. The best in the region.

A quaint hotel with character. The room was a generous size and well-appointed. The front desk service was very friendly. We also enjoyed dining in the lovely adjacent restaurant, Doli.
