3 days in Singapore: Highlights of Singapore Art Week 2019 - SilverKris

"A restaurant offering a twice-weekly high-tea tower (on Tuesdays and Fridays) featuring savoury and sweet items such as spanner crab buns, spiced fruit scones with seasonal jams and mascarpone, calamansi tartlets, and a selection of tea and coffee designed for sharing." - Sanjay Surana

Another fabulous experience while at Como Orchard. This time a different atmosphere and different vibes: quieter and casual and the exceptional service from Ivan Leong, makes the food tasted so much tantalising. It’s so true that great service draws the crowd back and even cover up the flaws in the food. But the experience last night doesn’t have these negativities. The Foccasia bread dipped in balsamic olive was truly out of this world and it’s FREE! The crab cake, pad thai , snapper curry, wraps and pasta were great.. I really like the lobster briyani in my earlier visit but I still haven’t fully digested from a prior fab lunch at Cote hence had to skip that. We have just made another reservation for 7 pax this Sunday !! Oh we had another great breakfast this morning in the same location… magnificent . Cedric Grolet croissant was out of this world and the buffet spread although not lavish but was adequately nice. I ordered a laksa n nasi goreng for my son as mains…. My personal preference is laksa. Will be back soon. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

First time here and ordered their lunch deal with a slight top up for the soft serve ice cream. My friend had the curry snapper and I had the butter chicken. Was contemplating with the chicken briyani. When I enquired with the staff on the recommendation, he said they are different things. The food was overall decent and had a nice ambience.

A fantastic first impression! We decided to try Como Cuisine for the first time and loved the overall vibe and excellent service. The majority of the dishes we ordered were delicious and well above standard. We did, unfortunately, have to send back the salmon as it had a strange, slimy texture and an off-putting smell. However, the way the management handled the situation was exemplary. They were very apologetic, immediately took the dish off our bill, and as a gesture of goodwill, brought us a complimentary dessert. This kind of customer care is how you win loyal patrons. They've certainly gained our trust, and we're already looking forward to returning to try their other dishes. Highly recommend for the great food and even better service!

Went there for dinner, the place feels more like a hotel breakfast cafe than a restaurant. Service was good, staff constantly check in if everything was ok. Steak was quite under done given I ordered a Medium well. Soup taste like mee soto Ayam soup and does seem a little odd for a valentine day set. Suggest free flow bread for customers as portion may be quite small.

A very cosy place to have a leisurely meal, but certainly pricey. There is an interesting wellness menu - the steamed fish is recommended. For dessert, I caved and went for the mango sticky rice. Not so healthy but well worth it. 😊

This restaurant is located on the second level of COMO Hotel. It feels very much like a casual dining spot, but the prices are definitely on the high side. I ordered the burger and the chicken biryani and surprisingly both turned out to be really good! The chicken biryani was definitely the best dish of the day, but it was a little bit too spicy for me. The place was quite empty so it is a good spot for dinner if you want a quiet restaurant.

COMO Cuisine, is however, my least favourite in the building of absolute style. It’s too open, cold and un-inviting. I do like the deconstructionist verve - the cold concrete juxtaposed with the cheeky touches. Pillars wrapped in silver and belted up - that’s design forward. Reception was Soviet ice-cold from the Indian Assistant Manager who seems to be in the wrong line. Thankfully, the service staff like Zoe were far more friendly and warm. We picked a few Golden Hour items - fish taco (drip galore so watch out!), prawn roll, guacamole and chips and oh, this is a must - Thai soft serve ice cream. It’s colossal for 2 and got a little tiring but it’s such a sight. If you have been to the old COMO Dempsey, you’ll find this starkly different in character. Less inviting - made even more pronounced by the Assistant Manager. But it still is a nice style icon. #eatstylishtravelstylish

What a nice surprise. Came here to use the HSBC vouchers but ended up enjoying the food and drinks a lot more than expected! Service is fantastic too - very genuine and friendly! They go out of their way to do things. We will happily come back again.
