Como en mi Casa - Art Cafe

Great food and great vibes. The food was very tasty and the portions were large. We had the chickpea curry burger, which had a tonne of flavour and the avocado, aubergine, courgette, mushroom, pesto wrap which was absolutely beautiful. The wait for the food was quite long but with the view and the atmosphere you won't notice at all. Also, a shout out to the waitress who was extremely attentive and helpful with any questions. Definitely recommend stopping by - we'll be back to try out some of the breakfast items (which are served all day by the way!) ☺️

My experience at Como en mi Casa – Art Cafe was disappointing. The cappuccino was really bad: the oat milk was burnt, which made the coffee very bitter. I had explicitly asked for no additions such as cinnamon or cacao, yet cacao was added anyway. On a positive note, the vegan carrot cake was excellent. It was freshly baked, very tasty, and even still a little warm, definitely the highlight of the visit. Unfortunately, the service also lacked friendliness and attentiveness, which further impacted the overall experience. The price was shocking. Paying 9,900 colones in total, with the cappuccino costing 2,200 colones, means the piece of cake was almost 4,000 colones. I’m sorry, but I have never paid that much for a piece of cake, not even in Paris or Copenhagen. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this place. Much better coffee is available at nearby cafés, and cakes can also be found close by at far more reasonable prices.

I love Como en mi Casa. Its vibrant colorful decor draws me in every time I find myself in the area. The vegan & gluten free pancake is my favorite, along with the brownie. I also enjoy the vegan gallo pinto—the veggies are cooked with basil and garlic and they are super tasty. This is slow food, which is how it’s advertised. Please don’t come here expecting your food to arrive to the table quickly, but instead, pause for moments of mindfulness while you wait for your food to be prepared with love and intention. Check out all of the local art while you wait to eat! A women operated business is one I will always support. Thank you for the nourishing food!

Great fresh good food! This second-floor place is mere meters from the sea and has a great view from their open patio. Really nice options for very tasty veggie and vegan meals with local ingredients. I recommend the fresh fruit bowl with the delicious tree honey, and a cup of great coffee to go with it.

I sat there for fifteen minutes after being greeted. Server never came back to take an order. The place was maybe 1/3 full. Went to a neighboring cafe where the prices were better, and the service was attentive. I understand island vibes, but this is a bit too slow for me.

There was a two drink for one promotion between 3 and 6 PM. The drinks were so fresh and good. The food is healthy and fresh as well. Super cute Restaurant with so much Art.

One of my favorite cafes in Puerto. Great place to chill, get work done or take a break from the heat or hide from the rain. Both the local cacao/hot chocolate and mocha were on point 👌👌
