This was my second time visiting Puerto Viejo but my first time noticing this magical place! The food was absolutely delicious, the staff was very welcoming and accommodating, the atmosphere was beautiful and we absolutely enjoyed eating on the balcony! Both of our sándwiches were more flavorful than expected and our drinks plus appetizers satisfied us. As an artist I greatly appreciated this restaurant and will hopefully visit again!

Smoothie was more just juice like and fruit seemed not so sweet. But the avocado pesto bruschetta was very good. And the homemade hummus was alright. It took a long time to get the food, which is fine but they didn’t seem busy. Nice place to sit and people watch 😝

If you want to try a good and healthy homemade food, visit this place. Try the babano pancakes with local seasonal jelly. I sadly don’t photos of it because we are so quick. Also the cafe con leche that they have was outstanding! Worth a try! And if you order the burrito, ask for a spicy sauce, they have a really good homemade one, wish it came already with the plate. Prices were a little high compared to other places but still worth it.

What a rip-off. Had the smallest galo Pinto ever for double the cost of a Galo Pinto main. Is that even an entire egg in there, I was still hungry after finishing this Galo Pinto dish. Big disappointment, gave 2 stars instead of one because the lady helped me cut the coconut so that I eat the inside part after insisting for a while. Believe me, there are other places around worth the money where you can properly eat even if the area is known to be expensive.

Unfortunately I don't recommend this place. The staff are nice and the decor is cool, especially if you get a balcony seat but the food quality was lacking. The service was quite slow (e.g. it took about 15 minutes for them to realise they don't have the food items I asked for, despite the kitchen being right next to my table and no other customers waiting for food). The taste was also lacking. My omelette felt like it had no seasoning whatsoever and could have done with some sauce or condiments. The portion size was good though. The coffee was ok.

We dropped by for a coffee & juice but will definitely come back for lunch. The team is kind and the menu looks really good. Oh and don’t forget the carrot cake. See you soon🥥

Swung by this morning for an iced coffee. This place is so nice! They open at 7:15 when most everything else is still closed. I didn’t try the food but the coffee was great and the space was so pretty. Lots of art and crafts for sale inside the colorful cafe itself, plus there’s a gorgeous plant filled little balcony where you can sit too. Will definitely come back!

Decent cappuccino... hard to get that here. Food is pretty good. I am not normally a fan of vegetarian. The tumeric bread was interesting. The sandwich was a little plain. They brought hot sauce that was not hot at all. Nice atmosphere above the street. Staff is very friendly and attentive.
