Was recommend by the concierge of a leading hotel to try this restaurant.
Sorry, the food was horrible. It is trying way too hard on innovating dishes to arrive at something where taste and texture either take a backseat or are totally forgotten.
Pheasant meatballs has chunks of pheasant meat inside, encased by a crust that is thick, dark and unchewable, and tasted like soap. Yuck
A dish of creamy mashed bacalao was studded with a large amount of micro greens which made it taste like, more soap, but may be of another brand ?
Slow cooked egg arrived while we were still trying to finish off a prior dish. It had to be sent back rather than let it get cold. It looked exciting, having been encased within a dark basket stuffed with, well, micro greens. It evoked a forest feel. But since only the slow cooked egg qqw available, in essence this dish is one single slow cooked egg .
Why? Why not realize there is a big market for well executed classical dishes of Tuscany ?
