Lovely place for morning coffee, and lovely chat. They have decent selection of options in the menu, and good dessert availability. I had my filter here, and, I was a bit surprised. Probably I had no other options, and I was not asked about any. But coffee was kinda strange, bitter, felt like blend. Not a Biggie. Maybe it was just a coincidence. Maybe they have better beans sometimes.

A favourite in the hood for so many reasons :) chai latte with fresh cardamon, awesome pastries, cool natural wines. Everything they do is creative and clevery excecuted.
I am willingly getting thick because of these guys. If you get your hands on those savoury scones with a running eggyolk inside you’re a lucky person. Thir chocolate chip cookie is also out of this world.

We used to enjoy the place a lot with my husband, good tea and coffee, friendly atmosphere, no laptops policy and people reading or chatting. But the service was a weak point all the time and today I had a really bad experience: I came to the place when my baby was sleeping in the stroller and couldn’t go inside. I asked for the blanket or a cushion to sit on but they don’t have any, so I took a wooden chair from inside but it was taken from me by the waitress because they “easily break”, I had to leave because (for me) it’s too cold to sit on the metal in this weather. That’s very sad how one person can totally change the perception of the place. And yes, I know that other people do stay outside but I think that sometimes it’s worth seeing the person and not “the rules”.
PS: I really appreciate the answer and attention to the feedback. I’ve also seen the cushions on the chairs today, and I’m looking forward to enjoying the sunny days at this place.

I think they have the best coffee on Weserstraße which is why I’m willing to walk the 17 minutes from my flat. There are always solid pastry choices to pair with my flat white. Plus they have a nice selection of natural wines and tea / coffee brewing equipment to go.

We went there on a Sunday afternoon and my, oh my was it bustling with other peeps.
But for a mighty good reason: the baked goods in this cafe are delightful and unique. We tried the Egg-Muffin, Foccacia and a bite of the zucchini cornbread from my gluten-free friend. Yummy yummy in our tummies. There is not much more to say, than you have to try it!
The sweet goodies looked also so fine, these are what we are aiming for on our next visit. 😊
1-star deduction because the style/ambient of the cafe reminded me of my middle school with the wooden desks and all. I prefer a more colourful flair 💐
