This coffee place is located inside a beautiful building, and the setting is absolutely stunning. The atmosphere feels refined and almost luxurious, making it a perfect spot to work, have a business meeting, or simply enjoy a high-quality coffee in a central location. The coffee was excellent — I ordered a cappuccino with almond milk — and the staff was very pleasant and welcoming. What pleasantly surprised me was the pricing: considering the quality, the location, and the overall experience, prices felt very reasonable. Many nearby cafés charge much more for a similar setting. A great place for good coffee, a productive moment, and a polished atmosphere.

very lively place I must say. Foot traffic was heavy. had a to wait a bit to get my americano but it was good. not much selection of pastries but the place was buzzing with office people. price was less than 4$. That’s a plus for me.

Amazing location with a mid century modern vibe. Plenty of seating and free wifi. Brewed coffee was very good with slight acidity to it. They serve counter culture coffee beans. Highly recommend especially in the morning when it's quiet. The pumpkin spice muffin was just ok. It was slightly undercooked and the granola topping didn't seem like the best complement to the super soft bread part. I tried their chocolate chip cookie that is baked in house. I like the thickness of it - not too thin or thick. There are chunks of chocolate. It's a bit too sweet for my taste but still a very good cookie.

I wish I could give this 3.5 stars. The service was solid. Ross the bar tender makes great drinks. The sour is tasty. The atmosphere is bland and the view is average. The drinks are expensive as they are in NYC. Nothing special but well made. Recommend as a good place to have a drink and catch up with a friend

Nice big tables, friendly atmosphere, lots of room but still feels cozy. Vibrant atmosphere. Not bad for an American coffee shop! If you are a coffee snob, this is a great find!

I had a fantastic Cortado here. Located inside of a large building. Decent place to get coffee. WiFi and good seating areas. Plenty of space when I went.

5. Love this spot very much. Hidden gem with soemthing for everyone. A great cafe, next to a great bar, surrounding a beautiful lobby. Wonderful spot to meet for a drink or coffee. Alternative milks available. It’s pretty busy so can be tough to find a place to sit.

This is the best find in the city! Amazing place to collaborate with others, study or get some work done. I was travelling to Manhattan with my teenage daughter. Was great to get out of hotel room and find a cozy space with great food, drinks, friendly staff and lots of outlets. There's a coffee shop, dining and even a bar. Public restrooms also onsite. Great place to feel safe and welcome while working near grand central in Manhattan.

Drinks are alright, and the pastries are pretty good and fresh. But an alright space if you plan to WFH. There's a good amount of seating and the wifi is pretty dependable. But like some other reviews are saying, there's a 90 min time deadline before you're supposed to leave. Luckily for us, the security guards mentioned it to us, but didn't really enforce it, so we stuck around for a bit. But this can probably be super inconvenient if they try to enforce it. Usually when I WFH, I pick a place and plan to stay there for a few hours.

The space is beautiful, but it's definitely not ideal for folks working remotely. There are strict time limits on how long you can stay, and the guards closely monitors guests throughout their visit. Portable monitors are not allowed, which makes it even less convenient for remote work. It seems like their intention is to limit extended use of the space, but this has created an uncomfortable atmosphere where you feel constantly watched. The coffee is mediocre at best, and not worth the added stress. With the loud music as well, I don't recommend this spot for getting work done.

Cute coffee shop inside of the building's lobby. There's free wifi, but there's a time limit of how long you can stay, and there's security checking in (although we were never bothered). Some plugs didn't work, but overall, it was a nice quiet spot to take a couple meetings while enjoying a latte.

Stopped in for a hot Lemon & Ginger tea while headed to the office - so good! Service was also super quick!

I come to this coffee shop about 2 to 3 times a week because it's on my way to work and it is seriously my favorite coffee place in all of NYC!! It's located in the lobby of the 22 Vanderbilt building and there is a lot of space for people to come and work throughout the day regardless of if you work in the building or not. The staff is very friendly and even if there was a long line, it moves super fast and you get your coffee fairly quick. they even have an assortment of fresh pastries. My favorite is their gluten-free olive oil cake, which is super moist and delicious.

Fantastic cafe in in the Vanderbilt Building. The cafe offers a nice range of coffees, teas, pastries and lite bites during the earlier hours as well as more substantial meals during lunch/dinner time. The ambiance and decor is modern, clean and relaxing. Perfect spot to get work done, have a quick meeting, grab a bite, and plug in your phone or lap top. The artwork sculpture by Takashi Murakami is worth taking a little trip to the second level. The space is quite large with a range of seating options like couches or chairs and tables. The service was friendly and prompt, pick up your coffee and find yourself a space. Definitely plan on returning.

Strict on the 90 minute limit with a very uncomfortably large security presence. Came here based on social media suggestions that it was "best WFH cafe in NYC" and people had stayed for hours to work with wifi+outlets but we were asked to leave at 90 minutes, even though I hadn't finished the food and beverage I purchased.

I stumbled upon this place because i had an appointment in the next building and had to sit somewhere to work remotely for a bit. Ambiance is very calm and overall is good place to work. Their coffee was ok-i tried coconut cold brew. They also have bakery stuff which is not bad either. Liked their Spinach feta puff.

Idk how this place doesn't have more reviews. It's a really cool, large workspace with great decor and Clock makes great coffee. I got a dry cappuccino and was there around 9:30am on a Thursday. It's got a bustling crowd and I had no issue finding many spots to work from. Also has 6 large single room restrooms that didn't have a wait.

TL;DR - Terrible spot for WFH due to strict rules, pretentious guards, and mid coffee. There are far better WFH options. Honestly terrible for WFH. They don't let you leave your stuff unattended, so I had to take my stuff with me to the bathroom. They don't let you have more than one screen, so I couldn't use my portable monitor. They strictly enforce the 90min rule; I was chastised by a guard while I was very clearly in a meeting. The guards are constantly hovering around you when your time limit is nearly up. My girlfriend made a comment to them as she left and they sneered at her. The most annoying part is the table next to us arrived not long after we got there & the guards didn't make a comment to them. Not sure what their problem was with us... If their goal is to limit the number of people utilizing the space, it definitely worked. I won't be coming back. Coffee isn't anything special either so not worth dealing with the unnecessary stress of trying to find a spot to work. It's lowkey loud in there too so not ideal for meetings either.

I enjoyed this spot for a work cafe. Located within the 22 Vanderbilt building, this cafe has a latte/drinks and pastries portion as well as a made-to-order food section. I tried a cappuccino, the cranberry orange muffin, and a squash falafel sandwich. They use counterculture coffee which I think is solid so I enjoyed the drink. The muffin was tasty with a nice crumble and drizzle, thought slightly dry. The falafel sandwich was good but had some golden raisins which were an odd addition. Some of my falafel pieces were burnt so it wasn't the most consistent. Overall, a good spot in the area to enjoy a light bite and drink. Tables were plentiful and large, several outlets were available, and there is free wifi that was available to use.

Not the best place to work from home - got chastised for having another device out and couldn't go to the bathroom without bringing everything. It's a coffee shop, everyone is going to use the bathroom especially those with bladder issues, I got chastised for that too. Won't be coming back.

Good atmosphere, good coffee, baristas are very respectful & welcoming. a great place to work for a long period of time. I put 4 stars because none of the outlets work which can be a little agitating.

This place is still wonderful in concept. But it has been discovered by many. It can be difficult to find a place to sit. Some people go and settle in for the day. Coffee is great and so is the service. But -- read the reviews of those who "settle in for a long time". Translation: Crowded. People milling around looking for a place to sit.

Amazing find for coffee and snacks. Huge sitting area that is quiet and well-lit. Service was fast and there are multiple ordering areas. The back half is set aside from the rest of the building and did not feel heavily trafficked.
