Company is our favorite local spot! It’s clean, quiet, & the best customer service! The drinks are always on point & well crafted! Live music can’t be beat every weekend! We are thankful to have such an amazing business so close to home! You come in as a stranger & leave as family, surrounded by the best Company. 🥃🎶

Ok. So just being real. This place is super small. And, as it turns out, their whiskeys aren't even made there (currently). They are distilled in Ohio. Was unimpressed with both of their whiskies at $65 a pop. The gin was actually really good if you like gin. I think, tho, if you mixed it with tonic you would lose a bunch of the botanicals present in drinking it straight and neat. Looking forward to trying their products after a few years and they are doing their whiskeys locally.

This place was so cool. We had a great time. I brought my parents from out of town and took my husband because he drinks both bourbon and whiskey. He can't wait to go back. The live music was great for the atmosphere and I love that it was family feels there. Would definitely recommend to friends! Check it out.

This year we visited company distilling to have pictures with Santa and to have a tasty drink in their Thompson Station location. We will definitely be making this our new family tradition during the holiday season.🎅🎄

Google
Amazing bourbon and gin! The distillers are very experienced from years at Jack Daniel's which explains the smooth taste to their Old Fashioned! The Ghost Gin is lovely and reminds me of Hendricks with a more citrus flavor. Their Kolch beer is the best I have found in the county! Kevin is an amazing brewer and all the staff are super friendly. Such an amazing venue with great indoor and outdoor seating.

My very first time here. We had an excellent time!!! The bartenders really took care of us despite at one point it was just us. I love this place and will definitely be back. I wish I knew their names to give them a shout out!

As a visitor to many distilleries, my visits to The Company have always been amazing! From Jela, to Dixon and all others- The Company is well worth a visit! By the way, they make a 'darn good bourbon and Heirloom Gin!!

Google
This place is awesome! The flavors on all of their products is insane. I really like the whiskey but the blueberry, oatmeal and even their gin is amazing. I can not wait for my state to start carrying all their products.

Yelp
Love this place! The staff are very friendly and the drinks are great. Perfect place to meet friends

Yelp
A couple of our friends who are bourbon lovers messaged on a Saturday afternoon and told us to jump in the car and join them at Company Distilling, so we did. First impression was that the place is tiny. That impression did not change during our visit. We arrived about 4:00 and there were only 2 other tasters in the tasting room. Shonna told us about the business, while Kaylee was pouring flights and making cocktails for the other guests. The 4 of us settled on tasting the same 4 bourbons; one finished with maple, one with apple, and a straight rye finished with cherry wood. We also sampled the Seismic Rye. Each bourbon was paired with a chocolate selected especially for the bourbon. There wasn't a bad one in the bunch. After our tasting, we ordered a variety of cocktails and Kaylee got them on the bar quickly. As the afternoon passed, more customers came in, and soon the tasting room was crowded. Some sat by the door; some sat in the product display nook. We decided to cut our visit short to allow others to move to the bar. Perhaps it's time to expand the tasting room. Otherwise, an enjoyable afternoon.

Yelp
Loved this small distillery on a Sunday afternoon! Walked in and it's cozy but modern. Small bar seating approximately 12 people and a merchandise area (two seats hidden in this too). Outdoor seating available as well. Jela and Jess were great! Awesome service especially on a busy day. The place got packed quickly. The drinks were delicious - I had the vanilla latte and the vanilla cola both made with the Ace spirit. The blueberry bourbon smash and the whiskey sour were also good for a whiskey drinker (I tasted but not my style). Worth the visit & drive.

Yelp
Great food and atmosphere! Super friendly staff! My friends and I enjoy trivia here! The Mug Club is a fantastic deal!

Yelp
We are traveling down here to visit some family. We like to check out some local places for drinks and food that we don't normally get. One of our favorite places at home is a distillery, so we found this place and figured why not! The staff was extremely courteous and put up with the antics of an over tired almost two year old while we were there! It was such a good experience we brought the family over the next day so they could experience it as well. It is a rather small building but it's a cool rustic aesthetic mixing old with new and is definitely a place to check out, plus you support a small business, so why not!

Yelp
Outstanding whiskey. Customer service was excellent. Staff very knowledgeable and friendly. Great prices for quality of spirits. Nice bar area and outside seating.

Richard M.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, it just needs to have more seating. The music is the best! Kayleigh Mathews is amazing!

Yelp
Dang, I can't find the button to bump these guys up to 6 stars. I've consistently recommended to everyone to stop by for a tasting. Now, since my last review, they've added a short but really nicely done cocktail list, such that the wife and I, local to Thompson's Station, quickly decided that this was our regular weekly nearby happy hour spot of choice. The tasting room is pretty small, so if you wisely choose to follow our lead, please save a couple bar stools for us. Or outside seating is great too, if the weather's nice, and on a Friday or Saturday there's likely live music too! After polishing off a few bottles, their maple wood finished bourbon is officially my favorite, and our house, bourbon. I've often leaned toward rye when ordering whisky drinks, so I'll certainly be first in line when their new rye is released soon. One of my favorite local musicians is Jessica Willis Fisher, and while I don't know what the relationship is, Jessica shows up in Company's marketing photos, and Company's maple wood bourbon shows up in Jessica's videos, so hey, it's a small town, these are all great people, I'm happy. Anyway, please imagine that sixth star is up there at the top of this update.

Yelp
Absolutely awful manager. Rude to the only patrons in the entire distillery. Nobody is here and I understand why. She stumbled over the most simple of phrases explaining the whiskey, gin and moonshine. You think someone who does this for a living would remember her phrases.

Dana B.

Yelp
We liked this place. Their premiere tasting flight (includes 4) was delicious! They definitely showcase high quality products and seem to really appreciate their customers.

Tracy L.

Yelp
This was our favorite distillery and not just because of the impossibly cute kitties (but we did a fair amount of fawning over them). I think between the 3 of us, we packed 5 bottles to take home . Both ladies were so lovely and took lots of time to explain the history of each whiskey as well as craft some winning cocktails. What a great experience!

Lissa B.

Yelp
If you have to pick one distillery to visit in Tennessee, H Clark Distillery is the right choice. Mr. Clark's passion for distilling is clearly evident in the taste of the spirits and devotion to even change the local state law! We really enjoyed the tour and learning about how Mr. Clark changed the state law to be able to distill in other countries rather than just where Jack Daniel's is located. Highly recommended to visit a place where Tennessee history is being made!

Harvey F.

Yelp
I was impressed by this almost unknown label. I am not a connoisseur of fine Bourbon, but I must say that this is a very good smooth sipping whiskey. In my opinion, it ranks high among the finer whiskeys I have tasted and enjoyed.

Augie R.

Yelp
This was, I think, the smallest distillery that we visited in the area. It's a tiny operation, but the products are very tasty and Brandy was a friendly and informative guide for our tasting. H Clark produces bourbon and rye, as you'd expect, but we were very surprised by its delicious, well-balanced gin. (If you can, be sure to enjoy their gin and lemonade--a very tasty treat on a hot day.) The place could use a few more seats outside to enjoy their tasty products, but we were glad we stopped!

Christopher M.

Yelp
The Service was Superior, the clerk was very knowledgeable. The Cat was very loveable and added to the country touch The Whisky is superior and well worth the drive. The response from the owner to my original post is very acceptable so I'm changing my review. 5 stars! Please consider visiting this distillery when visiting Tennessee!

Jenni N.

Yelp
We saw the road sign for this little distillery on our way through TN. So happy we stopped! Friendly and knowledgeable folks there shared the history of the distillery and Whisky Trail! We didn't taste much because we are on a road trip, but we took a tiny sip of the gin and rye. Both amazing and we ended up purchasing one of each bottle they had, plus an extra rye!!

Michael E.

Yelp
We were reserved at first due to this being a very small, hometown distillery that appeared to be closed and not much going on. We had made reservations online for the tour and tasting and we are glad we stayed. The story behind this small distillery is uplifting and not surprised the whiskey, bourbon, and gin are top notch. The owner was there when we walked in and we had a pleasant conversation. He is a lawyer by trade who has family history in distilling. Turns out, in 2009 he wrote the bill for TN to allow distilling outside the original three counties. The woman who gave the tour/tasting is extremely knowledgable and answers any and all questions. We ended up purchasing a Black and Tan Whiskey and look forward to sipping when we get back home to Tampa, FL. I highly suggest you make your way to this small town distillery and taste these awesome spirits!

Matt H.

Yelp
Freaking hole in the wall but their juice is their own and out of this world. The Thief is the best on the Menu. Brandy know how to mix some drinks and know her H Clark stuff. Make sure you save some time and eat next door at Circa

Desiree L.

Yelp
My dad took me here on Tuesday :) we had a great time. I'm obsessed with their Black and Tan and their Gin! I use to drink Gin all the time and had never tasted anything like their Gin. Fantastic!! Quaint small place and amazing to learn how they make everything!

Angela M.

Yelp
Nice tasting! $15 for an intimate overview of distillery history and pricing. Tour guide very warm and informative. Loved the gin! Beautiful drive fromFranklin to the distillery!

Michael B.

Yelp
Amazing service, small feel, fantastic music, and the perfect whiskey - what more can you ask for?

Noyra M.

Yelp
We had just completed a tour of lieper's fork distillery and they spoke so highly of this small distillery that we had to check it out. One word: GIN. It rivaled the Gins we have had in London. I am so happy we stopped by.

Bari K.

Yelp
First of all, this business is very small. There is a small tasting bar and a large back room with a copper still imported from Spain. They distill off-site as well, and deal in small batch whiskey and gin, which has garnered national recognition and awards. Our tour guide, Annette, was extremely knowledgeable, polished, poised and attractive. I came away with a better understanding of the distillation process and an appreciation for the craft. H Clark was recently purchased by a larger concern and will be bottling under a new label, "Company." According to Annette, this allows a wider distribution and increased production. I purchased a bottle of H Clark branded whiskey purely on speculation that scarcity increases value. However, my guests from California who appreciate whiskey assured me after tasting that it's a fine product and consistent under both labels. If you have an hour or so for the tour, H Clark is easy to find in Thompson Station, a couple of minutes off Hwy. 31. It 's worth the short drive. .

Yelp
Small distillery, great atmosphere, very nice, and awesome tasting. The whole experience was great. We visited this Distillery because of the Whiskey Trail and it was 100% worth it to visit. They showed the process of the branding of their logo, which we never saw anywhere else. After the tour we had the tasting, it was 10 dollars and worth it. The bottle designs were very neat as they had their barrel storage barn that could be seen from the back of the bottle. Owner signs bottles if he's there and sometimes they have bottles with a signature in back.

Yelp
Spent a weekend in Nashville with my Wife, who was already in town for a class. Had a few hours to kill on my own and a good friend who went to college with the owner said to check it out. Upon walking in, I was greeted and immediately offered a tour from Kim. This is a small, family owned business, and It was amazing seeing how everything from the fermenting, to the distilling, to the bottling is done under one roof of a historic old building. Kim was super knowledgeable and taught me everything I didn't know about whiskey and bourbon. I also had the opportunity to taste some of the finest gin I've ever had. This place is charming. You won't go wrong swing by during your next trip to Nashville.

Candace C.

Yelp
All of the spirits are delicious but my favorite is the single barrel! Small batch and high quality. Friendly staff and a cool tour!

Elliot K.

Yelp
What a phenomenal experience, we had a fantastic host who showed us around the extremely tiny, yet busting with charm, distillery. They make everything right next to the tasting room in a room no bigger than your typical living room. It may sound strange that such incredible whiskey (and awesome Gin) comes from such a small distillery, but it really does, it allows them to focus everything on making an exceptional product. You might think that a place with such small production in a boutique setting would charge an arm and a leg for their product, but you'd be wrong, their prices are great, ranging from $40-$80 per bottle. These bottles would easily sell for $100+ elsewhere due to their quality. Highly worth every penny. I highly recommend a visit here ASAP for anyone and everyone who loves great whiskey and gin, you absolutely will not be disappointed. Call ahead or book a tour online, I believe the tour is free and tasting is $10 for 4 great samples, killer deal. We are now at home enjoying most of the first bottle of "black and tan" that we picked up today. We will be back for their special 4year release closer to the holidays. Cheers!

Evan M.

Yelp
A small local distillery with a very interesting history. We sat and listened to the history and got a good understanding of their distilling process. We did the tasting as well and got to try their whiskey, bourbon and gin. Nice little place and you can get a good lesson and tasting of Tennessee distilling!!

Christine M.

Yelp
This was a fun stop on our way out of Nashville! Amazing what they can do in such a small space, and the passion for their craft really shows. P.S. - don't be like the people we saw who only walked in to get stamps on their Tennessee Whiskey Trail "passports" and then left. It's like having a layover at JFK and telling your friends you visited NYC. Enjoy that free t-shirt, posers.

Dario R.

Yelp
Great Whiskey & Very friendly people. Worth the uber from Nashville. Best distillery I've ever been too.

Valerie C.

Yelp
Love EVERYTHING they make!!! Keep up the tradition. Let me know when you release the next Rye and Toasted Gin too please.

Emma C.

Yelp
We were really excited about this tour but it was not at all what we were expecting. Brandy did an amazing job with the "tour" and explaining all about the process, but the room was cramped and you didn't see much. We had booked the time slot up for just our party but there ended up being 7 other people in this tiny room blocking most of the barrels and what not. They need to do reservation only and once your time is up you are gone. I hate to give less than 5 stars but I was really disappointed in this experience.

Andrew C.

Yelp
H Clark distillery is an awesome little distillery tucked away in a tiny barn. We actually had the opportunity to go through a tasting with the owner. The tasting itself cost $10 each and you got to try a third of a shot of whiskey, bourbon, and gin. I have to admit that the black and tan whiskey was definitely my favorite! Very smooth, crisp, clean finish! We also have the opportunity to take a tour in the back room to see all of the whiskey being made. It was really cool to see but a very impromptu tour with a very busy worker and extremely warm because the still was fired up. All in all it was a really cool experience to see a small distillery and to have the opportunity to talk with the owner!

Tracy K.

Yelp
Very quaint and interesting place. Our hostess Kim was quite knowledgable about distilling and the gin was out of this world.

D F.

Yelp
We had a fantastic time here. A very small family owned and operated distillery. They are producing a very small batch whiskey. It was very enjoyable to see how excited Hank is over the process. Don't look for a lot of glamor here, it is a small operation, but very tastefully done. We tasted the Gin, and the New Whiskey in their tasting area. I have always enjoyed drinking different alcohols, but when you slow down with a tasting you can taste all of the special flavors they use to create the final product. I walked away with a stronger understanding of the process works, and a bottle of Whiskey to take home.

Bill H.

Yelp
Went there this summer I couldn't tour the distillery but I tasted a couple bottles of their liquor it was good and I bought a couple bottles home with me I'll go back and take the tour

Carol R.

Yelp
We really enjoyed this tour! Our family was on vacation and thoroughly enjoyed learning about the distilling process.

Kristi H.

Yelp
H Clark gets a 5 for the quality of their liquor but a 3 for ambience. I went there for a tour and tasting and thought the barn was adorable, but there wasn't enough space for a relaxed tasting. It was cramped and there wasn't enough room around the bar to sit. I understand that part of the allure of this place is that it's all contained in the barn area, BUT if you're drawing in tourists there's an expectation that a place will be warm and welcoming. I should feel relaxed during a tasting, especially if you want me to spent $40-$80 on a take home bottle. However, the everything we tasted was great and the Gin was out of this world. They may want to really think about creating a tasting room

Peter W.

Yelp
H Clark Distillery is fantastic. We're in Nashville for holidays with family and made time for a tour and tasting. Travis was excellent, very knowledgeable, and passionate about the history, process, and product. The whiskey and gin were delicious. We look forward to enjoying our case at home. Highly recommended. PDW

April S.

Yelp
Informative tour with a guide who was well versed in the process and enthusiastic. Great origin story-very inspiring. Loved the rehab of an old building into a vibrant young business.

Brock H.

Yelp
We visited H Clark Distillery, Williamson County's 1st Distillery in over 100 years, and have nothing but good things to say! My wife and I scheduled a tour online which I would recommend because it is a micro distillery and can only accommodate 6 people on a tour/tasting at a time. Heath, the owner, was expecting us when we arrived and gave us a personal tour. Heath was very passionate about his craft and indulged every question we had. We were able to see and taste the different products through the distilling process which gave us a great appreciation for the amount of work that goes into making these spirits. After the tour Heath gave us a tasting of the 2 spirits that are currently available to purchase. The 1st was an unaged Oatmeal/Rye Stout whisky. *Please do not confuse an unaged micro distilled TN whisky with its East TN cousin moonshine, as they couldn't be much different. The Oatmeal Stout whisky was a blend of Oats, Rye, Corn, Barley and then brewed with TN lime water. The 2nd spirit we tried was a TN dry Gin. The Gin was very dry and had a complex flavor of juniper, coriander, and citrus. This is the type of Gin that could be drank with only a squeeze of orange and a dash of bitters. H Clark purchased their hand made brandy still from Portugal which gives their whiskey a smoother mouth feel than any Whiskey/Bourbon I've tried. There are multiple bourbons ageing but were not available to purchase as they were still not mature. I can assure you though I'll be first in line when they are!
