My husband planned this trip for the diving and enjoyed great dives and a wonderful dive crew. I enjoyed the boutique hotel feel. About 27 rooms, ours faced the ocean and had lovely views. While not particularly fancy it was truly nicely appointed and so clean. Everything about the small condo was nice…well-appointed kitchen, crisp white sheets and a new mattress, warm terry cloth robes, a luggage rack, pool towels. We also enjoyed the onsite restaurant with an included breakfast buffet. I also appreciated the responsive staff. All in all, a great destination for the divers and their non-diving family.

This is an ideal place for divers! I was there for an Alex Mustard underwater photography workshop. The Compass Point Diving Resort is about as far away from the hustle and bustle of Georgetown, Seven Mile Beach and the cruise ships. And that’s what makes the best spot for diving on Grand Cayman. You get there with your included rental car from Avis right next to the airport. There is a snack bar/bar open for breakfast, lunch and dinner above the dive shop. But your room isn’t a room, it’s a freaking (big) condo! You’ve got a full kitchen, living room and spacious bedroom. And there are several restaurants and a grocery store within a short drive. They do “valet” diving. You have a crate outside your room— put your dive gear in the crate and then just walk to your boat — it’s a Newton with two tables for your camera gear and dry bag. Your gear is all set up for you. Just double check it and you’re off to your first dive site. Every aspect of the diving is top notch from the boats, dive staff, briefings and emergency procedures. I can’t say enough about this place. I want to go back.

For anyone looking to get away from the hubbub of the tourist area. Looking for a quiet retreat, found it at Compass. Although not a diver, I see that their staff is totally dedicated to making a great and safe adventure for those who do dive. Housekeeping staff efficient and friendly. My unit was spotless and very well equipped. On site restaurant is a convenient amenity as well. Seeing how busy they are at this time is a true indication of the popularity of this resort.

Great laid back place to stay on Grand Cayman. My friend went diving everyday and I used the rental car to see the sights and enjoy time on the beach. I went on the snorkeling trip they offered that combined swimming with the stingrays. It was great. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. the condo was clean and comfortable. We stayed beachfront and it was so relaxing to sit on the balcony. The breakfast was included and it had a good variety of items. I am coming back for sure!!!

This is a dive hotel with full dive shop amenities. They have small beach frt and some rooms look out over and some poolside rooms across the road. All rooms are very nice equipped. They can book anything you are interested in doing anywhere on the island for you.

Incredible views, friendly staff and cleaning personnel. Quiet and relaxing! Close enough to town for groceries and restaurants but far away enough to be away from the buzzing island life. The combo of dive boats and dive resort is unparalleled concierge service for your dive gear.

On arrival, we were treated as expected guests with easy check-in. It is about a 45 minute drive from the airport.|We stayed in a 1 bedroom , 1 bath condo with 2 Murphy beds in the living room. There was a small washer and dryer in a closet. The balcony was a great place to sit and wind down after diving. The on site restaurant, StingRay’s had good lunches, drinks, and dinners and we elected for included breakfasts. We were 3 adults but it seemed a great place for families with a beach and ample lounges. They had bikes and kayaks to borrow, although we did not avail ourselves of these amenities. |For guests who are diving, as we were, there is a dock right behind the hotel and they load at 7:45am, with time for breakfast before taking off.|There are several good restaurants within a quarter mile of the resort.
