Compass Rose Heritage Inn

Had a lovely two night stay. Host was very helpful and friendly. The Rose room was small but was nice and clean. No A/C in room (there is in main areas) but lovely big window and a good ceiling fan regulated the temp perfectly. Tap water wasn’t drinkable due to nearby construction so there’s a water cooler in the room which was fantastic and convenient. Beautiful views and there’s a lovely yard and deck available to guests. Breakfast was great each morning. Would recommend and stay again.

What a gem this bed and breakfast is. We chose the Wildflower room for our 2 night stay and absolutely loved it. The room was bright and airy and the bathroom was well appointed with a shower and separate tub. We had a mini fridge , a Keurig machine, microwave and a water cooler all in our room ! The owner was welcoming and answered all our many questions about the island, she grew up there so that was a bonus for us, she made wonderful breakfasts and truly made us feel welcome . Loved the island and we will be back !

We had a great stay! A beautiful, homey spot with an amazing view. It was impeccably clean and comfortable, and we had the best breakfast ever. Thanks for making our stay on Grand Manan extra lovely.

The view from our room was fantastic! Very peaceful. Lovely breakfast. We weren't able to have supper at the Inn, but hope to next time. It was quite warm for July, so they set us up with a fan in our room and the ocean breeze helped. We will definitely stay there again.

What a lovely stay! We had a clean beautiful room that over looks the water. Coffee in the room and breakfast was included! Breakfast was a hot meal and made fresh each morning. It was really an amazing stay and we really enjoyed! Definitely recommend staying here

A great surprise. We stayed in Sadie’s room and it was beautiful! Private deck, right on the water. Although our room didn’t have air, it was spacious, and clean. The dining room is ADORABLE. Unfortunately it is closed this summer and they are only offering breakfast for overnight guests. The view alone makes it worthwhile.

We stayed in the Garden Room of the Compass Rose several days and found it to be spacious and comfortable. (I liked that I didn't have to climb stairs to the room and that we could park the car only steps from its private entrance!) We also enjoyed the private patio that has a good view of the bay and receives cooling breezes, a big plus on the one very hot day of our visit. The breakfasts changed every day and were a treat! We also dined in one night and had the delicious Lobster Newburg. Add to that a friendly innkeeper and beautiful surroundings and I have to say that our stay was outstanding and the highlight of our visit to Grand Manan and New Brunswick.

Just got back from another wonderful vacation at Compass Rose. Rooms are comfortable; breakfasts substantial, and views of the harbor are not to be beaten. Linda and Kevin are friendly and knowledgeable hosts. Dinner ( for guests only) is the best on the island. Highly recommend
