Compose Coffee - Review - Charing Cross - London - The Infatuation

"Compose Coffee is a Korean cafe by Charing Cross with a drinks menu so long you couldn’t get through it if you came for a whole week straight. Despite the colourful menu, the cafe feels like a waiting room. The plain walls and muted atmosphere don’t encourage lingering, so we’d rather take anything to go. From the food side of things, there are egg drop sandwiches that are so sweet, they taste like they’ve been drenched in honey, and a savoury cake-like creation in the shape of a one pound pang coin with a cheese pull that’ll take you all the way to the other side of the cafe. We’re fans of the einspanner latte, so we’d steer clear of the food and focus on getting that, and find somewhere to perch around Trafalgar Square." - Rianne Shlebak

Ordered the chocolate bingsu and it was perfect for the recent hot weather. My friend ordered the vanilla bingsu and we were a little surprised to see cashews sprinkled on top. I would be careful if you have any allergies. I hope the restaurant put basic allergens on their menu. I would visit again for the grilled toast

Ordered an iced dolce latte and it is pretty sweet. I usually don't order sugared coffee so it is pretty refreshing. However, the star of the show is definitely the tiramisu bingsoo. Its portion is big and it tasted amazing. I would love to come back for seconds. The Kpop music playing in the store also radiated a really nice atmosphere. Can't believe its located right next to the national gallery. The only concern would be cell service is semi weak in where I'm sat

Had a Blue Lemonade and a Bulgogi Toast. The toast for some reason had some weird smell but it was eatable. Young lady at counter was friendly and helpful. Also it would be helpful if they had a sign outside the store. Unless you look at the window you wouldn’t tell it’s a coffee shop.

I love this café and come here every time I'm in London. Drinks and food are excellent and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, with k-pop playing. Would highly recommend.

We just ordered a matcha to go there. They use ready sachets to make it and it was literally white. The only thing my boyfriend and I could taste was sugar and milk.

The bingsoo did not look like the pictures from rednote. They also forgot one of the cookies we ordered. No toilet

What a find! I’ve been wanting an Egg Drop sandwich for ages since seeing them on the drama Hospital Playlist. It was such a lovely experience, staff were so nice and smiley and all in all wonderful. Thanks so much for the recommendation @rollinjoint1

The taste was similar to what I’ve had in Asian countries—freshly made right after I placed my order.
