Read the reviews and thought we would pop in for an early dinner since we were in the area. We had the chicken salad, the French onion soup and the Croque Monsieur. The chicken was over deep fried and tough though the salad portion was generous. The French onion soup was respectable but far from the best I’ve had, along with the sandwich. The price matched the quality of the food, so no complaints.

Overall okay. Steak was cooked perfectly, and presented well, but lacked seasoning and flavor, as it needed a lot more salt. Steak also has some missing spots on the sear, and was overall pretty tough. There were also some spots of unrendered fat. Fries were great but some were not very crispy, with one not even being fried (Just straight potato!!!). Mashed potatoes were very creamy and the best part of the meal. Wouldn’t recommend the steak, get something else. The staff was very nice and friendly, and all spoke English.

Great atmosphere, waiters are very friendly and make the experience much better. The view speaks for itself. Great food and prices appropriate to the quality.

Besides the location next to the Pantheon, I loved their grilled cheese and ham sandwich with fries. The Creme Brule for desert was exquisite and all the servings were enough for 2 people!

This place is a hidden gem in front of the Panthéon. On a rainy day, July 20th, we stumbled upon it by chance. We ordered a chocolat chaud and a chamomile tea — the chocolat chaud was absolutely delicious! Also, the blond-haired waiter was incredibly kind, which made this place one of the most memorable parts of our trip to Paris. Thanks to this lovely spot, we’re leaving Paris with a beautiful memory.

At first I wasn’t sure if this place was going to be a tourist trap… however, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The server was very nice and although he was running around like a mad man, he was attentive to us. The only thing I’d say is that it was very busy and quite loud, but given the location, it’s bound to be… overall, really positive experience and the food was unbelievable.

Decent food, good service, and great location. We stopped by Comptoir du Panthéon for early dinner in August 2023 after a walking day in Paris and visiting Panthéon. We saw the restaurant right after we exited Panthéon, it was full of people, which was a good sign, and we went for it. The food turned out to be quite good. Not the best we had in Paris, but good. The service was fast, precise, and attentive. Overall, the restaurant gets a firm 4 stars and we recommend it if you are in the area. Food ordered Smoked Duck Breast Salad - very good French Onion Soup - ok Escargot - my wife liked it Duck Confit - good, though not the best duck confit we tried in this type of restaurants

Google
Good place for France food plus a great location nearby Pantheon. Great view with both Eiffel Tower and Pantheon all together. Nice service and nice atmosphere. Like the salad with goose liver in it. Nice dessert choices.

Yelp
Located in a tourist trap area, however the food did not disappoint. The duck and chicken were very juicy and the duck skin was perfectly crisped. The service that we received was probably the best we received in Paris with the exception of the extraordinarily expensive two star restaurants. We asked for a wine recommendation, the waitress asked a couple of questions, and she came back with two different and yet very delicious glasses of wine which were also very inexpensive. I would repeat a visit to this place. .

Yelp
Good location right in view of the Pantheon. Sea bass excellent Crispy chicken ok A typical French café with good views and food. I will remember this place anytime I'm in France because of it's location.

Yelp
They have leeway to charge high prices for mediocre food because they are one of the only close restaurants to the Pantheon. Knowing that we wanted to save our appetite for better food, we split a croque monsieur, which came with a salad and fries, for about 15 euros. It was a-okay, definitely nothing spectacular, but exactly what we expected. They handed me the bill while my husband was in the bathroom (with our credit card in his pocket) and sort of hovered while waiting for me to pay. I explained that he had the CC, and yet they checked in again 30 seconds later before my husband was back from the bathroom, asking if I was ready to pay. It was a little pushy for my taste, and very unlike every other service we received in France. If you can, eat before venturing towards the Pantheon, otherwise save your appetite for afterwards!

Yelp
Went to see the Pantheon and stopped for a drink. This French cafe sits in a location where you have the Pantheon to your right and in a far distance to your left is the Eiffel Tower. Cannot beat the view! Service was prompt and friendly. I would recommend stopping in for a drink and the food looked nice as well!

Yelp
I came here two years ago and ate duck confit and it was so delicious I wanted to have it again! If there is any other delicious duck confit I would love to compare it to this locations version because I enjoy this duck confit so much. We also ordered a steak and it was very bland and I would not get that again. The only downside to sitting outside is the constant cigarette smoke you will inhale as you wait for your food along with eating your food.

Yelp
Worst meal I've had in Paris. I read some reviews just now (really wish I saw it earlier... Honestly DO NOT ORDER!!!!) Found this place as it is located just a few walks from Le Panthéon. The exterior and interior looked nice... But that was really it. My friends and I ordered the fillet and it tasted exactly like the picture - bland and tasteless (yes, I know those two words are synonyms). I spent a good hour digging bones out of my bones-with-a-side-of-fish fillet. (I'm serious. The chef forgot to de-bone. I almost choked on my first bite!) That was actually not the worse part however. The service was just horrible. The waitress was rude and not accommodating at all. "Can we have change?" "No" Did not enjoy lunch here. 1/5 is really just for the fact that it was walking distance from Le Panthéon.

Yelp
Warning! Tourist trap! The high ratings came from many years ago and do not reflect the current service of the restaurant. First of all, smoking and eating don't mix yet even if you sit inside, smoking fumes penetrate in because they keep their doors wide open. I asked for water and the server gave me Evian water while charging 4 euros. I could have ordered a glass of wine instead. Service was very slow, as other Yelpers mentioned. The server thought I would only be ordering water and no food. Only after I asked for the food menu then they gave it to me. A long time later, the server gave me complimentary bread AT THE SAME TIME my entree is served. Did I mention the server didn't give me any butter for the bread? Gosh he clearly didn't know the phrase "bread and butter". So either I eat the butter-less bread while my entree dies on the table or I won't eat the bread at all. The fish dish I ordered was bland and underseasoned. But they forgot to complete debone the fish. I ended up having 9 fish bones in my plate (see photo), 3 of which were not small bones at all. So in short, if you think this is French cuisine, then it's something to forget about. The only thing good about it is that it's close to Pantheon, but you should stay away from this restaurant because there's better options around there

Yelp
Amazing food and amazing service! The food was great and the prices were very good. The wine was also great! They also had an English menu which helped so much. Will definitely go back!

Yelp
Nice cafe for breakfast. Good service. Good people watching.

Yelp
The restaurant had a lot of staffs, but not all of them were attentive. Since we don't speak French so it made it more difficult ordering here because my server didn't understand English too well; after trying some body language we were successful to get a menu with photos. We ordered their braised pork pot with rice and a seafood platter along with some wine; we were impressed by the pork pot, it was very tasty and went so well with the rice. The seafood was quite fresh as well; we spent an hour or two there enjoying everything. The restrooms weren't as clean as the other restaurants we've been to though, I saw flies everywhere and it ruined my mood dinning there. I suggest them to keep the restrooms cleaner since it's very important for restaurant businesses.

Yelp
This has become my "go to" place for dinner in the Sorbonne area. I've been here a week and gone every night so I've tried almost the entire menu.... and nothing disappointed. (Make sure you try the almond cake.) Their service was exceptional. All the wait staff was superior and even went out of their way to let me know that they would replace anything I didn't like because some of the food was foreign to me. This promise was unnecessary, as every dish was delightful. If you are lucky when you go, you will be served by Anna, who knows the food and won't let you make a mistake. Truly an impressive young lady. Finally the view. Look right and you see the Pantheon Museum. Look left and you see the Iffel Tower. Enough said.

Yelp
After checking out the Pantheon we stopped by here for a glass of wine and a delicious crepe. We were really impressed with the service and we managed to tap into some free wi-fi which coming from the US was difficult for me to find surprisingly. If you are looking for a place to relax, this place was really awesome. As a plus the bathrooms were pristine as well.

Yelp
The food was beautifully plated and tasted great. I came with my girls after visiting the Pantheon which is across the street. Great ambience and service.

Yelp
Very popular spot in Paris, one of the best steaks we had in Paris (which is saying something!), great staff, reasonable prices for the area, would definitely recommend if your in the Latin Quarter. Kitchen closes around 11 PM but bar was open until midnight.

Yelp
The location and ambience of the restaurant is great but the food is okay. The restaurant is located right near the Pantheon, so you get wonderful views of both the Pantheon and the Eiffel Tower (if you sit along the street). Food was all right. If you happen to eat here, I'd recommend the salads but most of the plates are sub-par and overpriced. The service overall was solid (although we did have one waiter who was pushy about a tip while bring the check -tipping Paris is not like in the US and this man seemed to think he could trick us into a bigger tip).

Yelp
Picky 9 year old and more adventurous 11 year old devoured the rib eyed steak with salad and fries. We had the green peppercorn on the side. Fries were very good.

Yelp
What a nice first night in Paris. This spot was perfect. My husband had the salmon tartare, so delicious, large portion. I had the chèvre salad, with jamon, walnuts, currents, tomatoes, perfect balance of ingredients. We had a bottle of Macon Village. Service was friendly and good. Nice bistro, would go back.

Yelp
Came here hoping to get some streak and fries with my family. We Ordered three of them medium rare. When we received them they were all well done! This item costs 19.4 euros, so it is not cheap. When we told the waiter, she said that we should not have taken a bite of it, then she just walked away. We waited 20 minutes for her to come back but she did not so we had to flag the manager down. Terrible! How can you over cook one of the most expansive items on your menu?! The service was very rude when the lady waitress finally came back, she rolled her eyes at us. How rude. Never coming here again.

Yelp
So so good. We speak very little French but the staff was kind and accommodating. I'm sort of a Caesar salad enthusiast and when I saw it on the menu I was excited to try. It was THE BEST Caesar salad I have ever had in my entire life. My mom ordered the Thai beef salad which she also enjoyed. Would 100% recommend eating here, great ambience, great food, great service! If I'm ever back in the area I will be sure to revisit :)

Yelp
Service is very very slow. Cute little place with a nice view, food is good but nothing special.

Yelp
I was there an evening in October 2012. The location was great with view of the Pantheon over a rising moon. The menu was somewhat limited, yet I picked the dish that I found interesting: duck, and it was good. It reminded me of the Peking duck dishes, with layers of tender duck meat, thin fat, and crispy skin. Nevertheless, it was definitely French and good.

Yelp
Extremely touristic. No soul. Tastes below average. Won't prefer again. We were so tired to walk to another place and unfortunately we ended up here.

Yelp
I got there just wanting to sit and have a light bite to eat at around 2 on a Saturday. I ordered french onion soup and a cafe americain. The waiter brought me my soup quickly but it was disgusting. There was a tiny piece of bread with cheese on it and ended up just sitting on top as I ate the vinegary onion soup under it because they only gave me a spoon and I had no way of eating the cheese part which happens to be my favorite. Then he forgot my coffee. My friend arrived and ordered himself a coffee and I reminded the waiter that I also ordered a coffee thirty minutes before. Once he brought our coffees he brought the check and after five minutes of me just sipping my coffee he very rudely demanded my payment right then. Not worth it

Yelp
Not good. I ordered a Gazpacho and it was rotten. The service was horrible. Definitely not a good choice. The hostess is not a nice person.

Yelp
My husband and I both got salads and thought they were pretty great. I had a salad with smoked salmon, mushrooms, grapefruit, and mixed greens in a creamy Dijon vinaigrette with a little cup of shrimp tabbouleh. My husband's salad had duck, mushrooms, red onion, and mixed greens. They serve a little basket of complimentary bread with a pot of sinus-clearing Dijon mustard. The staff were friendly, the interior was cute, and I thought it was reasonably priced for the area (our salads were around 12 euros apiece). They provided us with an English menu, but we conversed with the staff in French. Would recommend for a meal if you're visiting the nearby Musee de Cluny or Pantheon!

Yelp
Croque-monsieur below average (bread was too hard). The potatoes served with the duck confit did not taste good and were greasy.

Yelp
Typical modern Parisian brasserie nice atmosphere with soft lounge music in the background but limited choice on the menu and no possibility of ordering a simple off menu dish such as an omelette
