A hidden gem in Marseille. It was my first meal arrived Marseille. The young gentleman politely explained every dish to me. The dish was excellent and in good value. A place that I will definitely visit again if I go to Marseille again!

This place is a must! Ate here with my family. The food is fresh and the flavors are on point. Everyone is very friendly and Leo gave us the most detailed explanation in English. Like it says on the menu, the food is really made with love.

One of the best breakfasts I’ve had - everything was perfect down to the temperature of the butter 🤪 definitely recommend!!

We ordered simple breakfast formulas for €7, a hot drink, a baguette and butter and a juice and it took an hour to come. We were 6 and they sat a table of ten after us who got all of their food before us. The wait staff had no idea what was going on and several times came back out to ask us what we had ordered and what we were waiting for. Don’t come here if you want to eat anytime soon.

What a lovely surprise this place was. The mackerel was perfectly cooked with a crisp skin and meltingly tender inside. My friend’s vegetable tart was lovely as well. This was definitely one of the best meals I’ve had recently. Plus, the service was impeccable. Highly recommended.

Good breakfast, with eggs, bacon and freshly pressed orange juice. Then a very nice lunch with cesar salad, and a juicy tasty tuna steak with sweet potatoes. Great service and friendly, smiling staff! Recommended!

Google
simply the best dining experience i've had in marseille! food was amazing, and the service was exceptional. the staff were both welcoming and friendly, and kindly explained the french menu to us in english. the ambience was warm and the place was filled with locals, yet we felt extremely welcome as tourists. a lovely experience overall!

Yelp
After visited the soap shop and picked up some souvenir, I was pretty hungry and found this awesome restaurant. The place was half fulled while I walked in. A friendly staff greeted me and I got a table right away. The menu was written on a board which the staff moved it around to show the customer. Given that I speak no French, so I tried to use the google translate to figure out the entire menu. A lady staff saw that and offered help to translate it into English for me. Problem solved. I ended up order the monkfish dish and it was so delicious!! It was so juicy and tender which the fish meat melt in the mouth. If I come visit again in the future, I will come back and check out this restaurant again.

Yelp
This is the type of restaurant that I wish I could find more of back home. The menu changes daily and is all dependent on what the chef gets from the market each morning. My family and I came here in January while on vacation in beautiful Marseille. None of us really speak French except for my sister who remembers random things from her high school language classes. We tried to decipher the menu that was written on the chalkboard, but couldn't really understand anything. Luckily one of the owners, who was also serving tables, actually hails from Massachusetts! She happily described each dish for us. I had veal that was cooked to perfection--it was falling apart and just so well seasoned. The roasted local vegetables paired perfectly with the veal. I was trying to eat slowly (which was pretty difficult since they were so good) just so I could savor every bit of it. For dessert we had a three kings day inspired cake (it was the day after three kings) which was citrus flavored and an orange creme. Both were light, airy, and quite good. We all really enjoyed our meal and wished we would've gone to Le Comptoir Dugommier sooner. If I'm ever back in Marseille or Southern France I will definitely make sure to come here!!
