We recently stayed at Comwell Copenhagen Portside Dolce for three nights and were very happy with the experience. Check-in was smooth and easy, with very friendly front office staff. The hotel was also flexible and accommodated our request for a complementary early check-in, which we really appreciated after a long-haul flight from Australia.||We had booked a standard room, which, while compact, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The modern, airy, and light-filled design made the space feel fresh and welcoming. I was initially worried when I saw the very thin mattress on the bed, but to my surprise, it was exceptionally comfortable. The pillows were also soft, which I really appreciated. Quite often, I find hotel pillows too hard and thick, leading to neck pain by morning—but not here. Another standout feature was how quiet and peaceful the hotel was, despite being at full capacity. The rooms were very well soundproofed, which made for an undisturbed and restful stay. ||The bathroom was generously sized for a European hotel, and we really appreciated the high-pressure hot water rain shower, along with the additional hand shower.||We did notice that the room lacked a phone, fridge, and complimentary bottled water, but after staying at another hotel in Copenhagen, we figured it was common practice in Danish hotels.||The location was also excellent—just a few steps from Orientkaj metro station, which made getting into the city quick and easy. Had we known it was so easy to get about by metro in Copenhagen, and that the Comwell was located so closely to the metro station, we would have stayed at the Comwell for the full duration of our trip- rather than book another hotel closer to the city for the conference I was attending. |We would definitely return to Comwell Copenhagen, if we ever do another trip to Denmark.
