Stayed here for just one night. Amazing value for the price. Lovely modern reception area and bar. Room was functional, modern bathroom with wet room style shower. Comfy bed. Good choice at breakfast. Food fresh and well presented. Good choices for vegans too, with vegan porridge, breads, cereals and a variety of plant based milks available.

Exceptional hotel! Very convenient location just a few meters from the subway that takes you to the center and every part of the city. Very clean rooms, modern and comfortable structure. Spacious and very clean bathroom with a large shower. Large television hanging in front of the bed. Very friendly staff. We did not use the breakfast but the menu is very varied. In the room there is a hairdryer, ironing board, kettle, coffee and tea. Truly a fantastic structure. Very kind and professional staff at the reception.

Let’s start with the restaurant which is in a class of its own for hotel restaurants. You would not expect to find a very good restaurant in a hotel but here is the exception. Knowing Copenhagen restaurants very well, we were hesitant to have a hotel dinner, but wow! In short, they excelled in both carpaccio and steamed cod, to a level that most “real” restaurants would find hard to beat. The service, spearheaded by Jeanne, was both polite, witty and effective. This is a strong recommendation for any travelers, whether you’re staying at the hotel or not. ||For travelers looking for a hotel, Cromwell Portside is a strong recommend. Great value overall and with very easy access to the city centre and airport due to the nearby metro. Rooms and bathrooms are comfortable, clean and modern.

The Comwell Copenhagen Portside hotel has much going for it, but they have some work to do.||We stayed two friends for three nights in a Family room, which meant the room had two double beds and a nice big bathroom. That way the room was great, and the bathroom was well appointed. The location is also perfect, it is literally around the corner from the Orientkaj metro stop, so really easy to get to and perfect as a hub for exploring Copenhagen. And because it is a bit outside of the main centre, the price and value for money is so much better. ||The beds were really good. Good mattresses, a pillow menu, and good pillows, and duvets in general. There even was a small manual about the pillows including advice on price and where to buy. (No hotel manual, no phone in the room). This is where the review could stop with five stars, had it not been for the detracting issues.||When we arrived in the room it was around 24 degrees centigrade in the room. Outside it was around zero degrees. We tried to adjust the temperature, and we tend to be fairly good at that stuff, but failed. So the sleep was not great, it was just too warm. Consequently, the next morning we asked in the reception if they could look at it. They said they would but returning that evening it was still super warm. We found a small window you could open and that helped, but the settings did not work as we had been explained. Next morning we therefore once more talked to the reception, we once more got explained how the system was supposed to work, and they attended the room while we were away. "Fixing" the issue consisted of leaving the small window open all day to cool the room down a bit. It helped. Bottomline, their system is not an air condition, just a heating system, and it did not work, not for us, and not for the people that looked at it.||Other than that, the cleanliness was an issue. We found dust all over the place, and hairs as well. The reception explained to us that cleaning was outsourced to a different company. That is fine, but how about some inspections? For the three days we stayed there was no cleaning of the hotel room at all. We left the room between 10 and 11 each morning, and only came back late in the evening, so there was plenty of time for cleaning.||You have to imagine that the issues above are very fixable, and if addressed this hotel would clock in as five stars in my optic. Until then, three stars is a reasonable summary. We stayed in room 3023.

The hotel is located in a central and easily accessible area. Apart from the truck noise coming from outside early in the morning and the two separate single beds (joined with a mattress on top that is larger than the size of the bed), it was good in terms of cleanliness, comfort and service. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can have a pleasant time with various games in the hotel lobby. It also has its own parking lot.

Very good hotel location. There is a metro station nearby and you can plan your stay anywhere. Very close to water transport, I recommend trying it. The hotel staff was very nice, very tasty breakfast and menu in the restaurant. Comfortable pillows and beds. In fact, the rooms are very small but comfortable and pleasant. Clean, bathroom also ok. Rich breakfast, many dishes to choose from. Very nice hotel, you can use it and walk around the area. I recommend it as a starting point to visit Copenhagen, it's worth it!

The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly—it was a pleasure speaking with them. Being greeted with a big smile was truly refreshing. They were also extremely helpful in guiding us through the Metro system.
