I very much enjoyed my stay here! Walkable to the water, some shops, and restaurants. The hotel had a small gym with everything you need to get a decent workout. The bar area was nice to sit, have a cocktail, and relax after exploring the city. You do have to take transport to the city center, which was super easy to do from the hotel. No clocks or phones in the rooms, but plenty of outlets. The breakfast buffet had a variety to offer, which I appreciated. The entire staff was so kind and helpful. This was a birthday trip for me, and they even left a birthday card and a food gift for me. Very thoughtful!

I had a fantastic experience! The location right by the canal is super beautiful. The area in general has a lot of interesting architecture with canals giving it a special touch. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide selection to choose from. The bar served great drinks in a pleasant atmosphere. My well equipped, spotlessly clean, and super comfortable. Overall, a great place to stay – I would definitely come back!

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at Comwell Copenhagen Portside. The service from the staff was professional and exceptional. The room had a great ocean view, and the restaurant experience was better than most restaurants you will experience in Copenhagen. The bar served anything we'd ask for, from drinks to iced coffees, and the hotel itself is a nice, green oasis in the middle of a clean, urban area that is Nordhavn. Can warmly recommend Comwell. It is above and beyond every time we visit.

This hotel is much better than many of| the reviews suggest. Plus points are || 2 mins to metro station with trains every 4 mins. In centre in 10 mins.||2 minutes to Water bus which is a brilliant way to get around.||It's quiet, very quiet.||Smashing staff.||Good bar, small menu and enough guests using it to have some atmosphere.||Very clean.||Rooms functional but smart and have everything you need. Bed is very comfy, walk-in shower fine.||People have criticised used some things. Yes, the shower pressure is low, but you can still use the rain shower fine, I just wouldn't describe it as invigorating. Some people have complained about a thin mattress and missed the larger mattress underneath a mattress topper. Toiletries in the bathroom are fine but not luxury (and you are not paying luxury prices).||I enjoyed breakfast but I enjoy some decent cereal and toast. Both available but the toaster is more a social opportunity to chat to other guests as it is much slower than usual. ||Would I stay again? Yes. Always remember the price point and for me it is great value.

The good first clean and modern. The bad things - small rooms, appliances not working e.g. the TV bulbs not changed. No coffee/tea or a fridge in the room; bathroom no body lotion or shampooo. They provide you hand soap only - I fail to see where the 4 stars come from…. Certainly they have the suites but for 4 starts all rooms must be nice.

New hotel with large spacious rooms. No minibar in room. Cleaning of rooms only on demand. Good breakfast with a decent spread. Located close to UN city but a bit far from city centre. That said, the Orientkaj station is just next to it.

Excellent location about a minutes walk from the metro station. Clean place and decent gym. However, they don’t clean the rooms every day and you have to let them know the day before if you would like it cleaned - this isn’t informed to guests and there’s no scope for a last minute/ on-the-day request :/ No kettle or pantry in the rooms, but there’s a nice cafe nearby

We recently stayed at Comwell Copenhagen Portside Dolce for three nights and were very happy with the experience. Check-in was smooth and easy, with very friendly front office staff. The hotel was also flexible and accommodated our request for a complementary early check-in, which we really appreciated after a long-haul flight from Australia.||We had booked a standard room, which, while compact, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The modern, airy, and light-filled design made the space feel fresh and welcoming. I was initially worried when I saw the very thin mattress on the bed, but to my surprise, it was exceptionally comfortable. The pillows were also soft, which I really appreciated. Quite often, I find hotel pillows too hard and thick, leading to neck pain by morning—but not here. Another standout feature was how quiet and peaceful the hotel was, despite being at full capacity. The rooms were very well soundproofed, which made for an undisturbed and restful stay. ||The bathroom was generously sized for a European hotel, and we really appreciated the high-pressure hot water rain shower, along with the additional hand shower.||We did notice that the room lacked a phone, fridge, and complimentary bottled water, but after staying at another hotel in Copenhagen, we figured it was common practice in Danish hotels.||The location was also excellent—just a few steps from Orientkaj metro station, which made getting into the city quick and easy. Had we known it was so easy to get about by metro in Copenhagen, and that the Comwell was located so closely to the metro station, we would have stayed at the Comwell for the full duration of our trip- rather than book another hotel closer to the city for the conference I was attending. |We would definitely return to Comwell Copenhagen, if we ever do another trip to Denmark.
