Conch Shell Inn

Conch Shell Inn is a gem. Vivian runs the place and it would not be what it is without her. Clean, well supplied, comfortable rooms with a great sunrise view and onshore breeze. On the beach and easy walking distance to, well, everything you need. Tour operators, swim places, restaurants, food stands, stores of all kinds, taxi/golf cart stands, banks, local park and water taxis. The shared covered balconies on the upper and lower levels make it easy to connect with fellow travellers, if you wish. The Inn itself is quiet but there is noise from adjacent restaurants/bars, boats, and, oh yeah, small airplanes coming and going from San Pedro airport. I was glad to have ear plugs and a fan for white noise at night. |PS. The pricing is great. I was able to stay for 4 weeks.

Pretty basic accommodations with a fantastic, friendly, and helpful staff. Our host Vivian was terrific. The location is convenient to all of San Pedro, convenience stores, coffee, restaurants, bars, and cart rental. And, it's right on the beach!!!

Was here in 2012 and I still think about this place often. It’s nothing luxurious or fancy but it was still amazing nonetheless it was a great great right in front of the beach and nearby so many great spots. I can’t wait to come back.

A quaint boutique hotel right on the water. Simple but perfect. Hammocks and lounge chairs looking out at the water. Very friendly employees, and right next to some great dining options. Awesome location close to the express boat shuttle.

We stayed here for a week (Jan 27th-Feb 3rd 2024) and it was absolutely wonderful. Vivian was there to greet us and show us to our room. The room looked exactly like the pictures. Once we got into the room, I thought I was melting due to the humidity and was thinking we may have to spend the extra $15 a day for the AC. Once we opened the windows up the ocean breeze cooled everything down and there was no need for the AC. If you rent a golf cart, there is parking right on the side of the building. It’s a little tight in the morning and you have to back out but it’s pretty easy. At night it can be a bit noisy due to people hanging out at the bars nearby. The noise dies down around 1am but then starts again at 5:30am, so bring ear plugs. Vivian and her daughter would come in daily and make your bed. The linens are switched every couple days as well as the towels. Shower works wonderful and the water is hot. All in all it’s a great and affordable place to stay!! Vivian and her daughter are wonderful and give Happy the dog a pet too!

Great hotel! Really nice only reason for 4 stars is you have to pay extra 15 USD for AC each night which is a bit ridiculous.

Really amazing for the price. Clean, cute and great location. Owner was so sweet and friendly, 100% would stay here again.

Really Great rustic Inn Right on the beach ⛱️ with 2 hammocks to chill 😎 out on. Old style Inn but price reflected with good rates & value. Staff amazingly friendly and helpful. AC extra if needed but sea breeze often so not really needed. Will definitely stay here again in beautiful Belize 🇧🇿 San Pedro 😁😎🏝🏖
