Yelp
Stayed here for 4 days, and I'm definitely not impressed, and here is why:
1. When we arrived, we were told that they were renovating the pool (this information would have been nice at booking), and that we wouldn't be bothered because our room was in the other side of the hotel. Well... Our room was 3 levels up, but just above the renovation, and the noise? Oh wow! Jackhammer!
2. As the pool was under renovation we could use the one in Holiday Inn just around the corner. Well... We should probably just have booked a room there, as the pool was one of our criterias when deciding where to stay.
3. The room:
a. There was dirt and a piece of pink thread on the bathroom floor along with the wall - it was there when we came, and it was there when we left.
b. The AC (I think) had the most annoying sound which started in the evening and went on until morning.
c. The floor in the shower had no elevation, which meant that the water couldn't run down the drain and stayed on the floor - wet floor in the evening = still wet floor in the morning.
d. Cleaning was sloppy - I don't think they vacuum around the bed.
e. The closet door didn't work and took forever to open and close.
f. The minibar fridge was empty and dirty.
g. The TV-reception was very bad.
h. The Wifi was not secure - so frustrating!
4. They played pretty loud music in the lobby in the evening.
5. The food (both the restaurant and roomservice) was very disappointing and of poor quality.
Other than that check-in was fast and friendly. Check-out not so much, as they charged the wrong amount on our creditcard and took forever to get it right.
All-in-all: With the wide selection of hotels in the area, I would definitely not stay here again.
