Nice place to visit and take photos. Also many gifts, foods drinks, and toys to buy. But to pricey.

Was sorely disappointed to know it’s just 1 narrow alley with shops targeted at tourists. The shops carry no sense of their old charm except for how they look and where they’re situated.

Local ambiance is very strong..local sellers are very friendly..food is nice

I absolutely love the vibes and atmosphere here. The mix of cafes, souvenir shops, and vibrant wall murals creates a lively and Instagram-worthy setting. The crowd adds to the energy, making it a must-visit spot.

Something different for a change. Small quaint lane which reminds me of Johor Bahru, Melaka and other parts of Malaysia in the 60s and 70s. Good restaurants along the way. Tried the 'Wawasan chendol' kiosk aka 'chendol abang kacak'and it was superbly good..as in the chendol. The dude was okay looking. Had lunch at 'Pekan lama' restaurant. Good food and reasonably priced as well. The Sunquick Blackcurrant drink brought back memories of the past. Though, readily available in shops, never had it for years. Stumbled upon a book shop called X-Cess. Stumped that there was a Yasmin Ahmad tribute section downstairs. A good job done by the book owner. Lots of photos and poster of Yasmin Ahmad. Bought her book called ' How you know?' again. Not looking forward to reading the last page. So sad. Great book for you if love her work. 🥲

finally got to walk through Concubine Lane… and let me tell you it’s not just aesthetic, it’s delicious! The whole lane feels like a mix of old-school vibes and modern street snacks. And ya girl? I was busy munching more than taking photos. 😜
