Great variety of excellent tacos with the ability to custom make just about anything you want. Lots of options for vegetarians and the food is just plain great! Staff was very friendly and quickly accommodated a larger group of us during lunchtime and allowed us to get separate checks. For the size of the group the food came out pretty quick and everything was as ordered. This place will be a repeat for me if I get the chance.

Please don’t waste your time here!!!! This place might have been having an off day (unsure), however—this is the absolute WORST experience I’ve had at a restaurant in a very long time. We waited for 20min to put in our food order (maybe longer). We ordered margaritas, they came out watered down with seltzer water—however, we did not ask for the “skinny margarita”. When the food finally came out—it was below average. I got the chicken, bacon, ranch taco—and it tasted like canned chicken. Very poor quality food. I’m not sure what people are tasting, but it’s not quality. For where this place is located, the service could be a lot better, and the food quality should be great! We were very let down. From start to finish, we were there over an hour. People were getting up and leaving, our table wasn’t cleaned correctly, and our waiter had an attitude. We paid $80 for two people: and appetizer, 2-margs (which we didn’t drink), and two tacos each. Save your money, ya’ll.

Went here for lunch. We had tacos. The tacos were good. The chicken bacon ranch taco was amazing but I was most concerned about them putting us next to the back room where all the dirty dishes go to die when the place was empty. It was creepy and dirty. The dragon fruit seasonal special wasn't special. The habanero rim was too much and the drink was too sweet. I can see someone liking it. I didn't.

Google
The food is so good we went to eat here two days in a row. The swole bowl is absolutely delicious, and so are the crunch lunch burritos with a side (which are a good deal during lunch hours). The staff is also very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place!

Google
This is definitely worth stopping by. We were looking for something good, but fairly quick. While I am sure you could linger and enjoy cocktails, we had soda pops and a lighter lunch. The tacos were good, but the easy pleasy burrito really shined! And try the street corn; the half size order is just right for two people looking for a snack.

Went for dinner on a busy Saturday night. Chips and house salsa were a great starter. The build your own tacos were really good and so was the strawberry margarita. The service was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend stopping here.

Google
This place is sooooo good. We had the chicken, bacon ranch taco the bad habit taco the Korean BBQ taco and the braised and confused taco and they were all great. We got a house margarita with jalapeños and it was good. Shout out to the bartender/waiter behind the bar Aron he was super cool and explained the Manu he told us what was good and he was so right thanks.

Google
OOOOOOMMMMMGGGGGG!!!!!! THIS PLACE RIGHT HERE I SWEAR HAS THE BEST TACOS I'VE EVER TASTED. I started it with 2 tacos and ended up buying two much bc they were so good. Everyone was great, a waitress was awesome, the drinks were good, the mango salsa on that taco with a pickle onions were amazing. And the habanero mango sauce that I got for the side of my taco was crazy great. Words can't even explain how good this Taco was. I would say it had to be the freshness of the hard shell. It was freshly fried every time. I will definitely keep this restaurant in mind when I continue to travel and hopefully they are in other states. I know they're not mine but if you ever want to put one in Maryland let me know

Yelp
Thank you Fajr for really good service. Foods always amazing here. I highly recommend.

Yelp
great food, great vibe, great service- connor is an awesome server and brought a great energy to our table. the food was brought to our table quickly and the drinks were fresh and tasted great. our new hangout spot!

Yelp
This place is awesome! Really yummy tacos and street corn dip. The server was also friendly and checked on us a few times. We both got the sweet heat which had a lovely kick to it. Had a cool vibe too with local art on the walls and lots of space with two floors.

Yelp
Do NOT go here! Rude, incompetent staff. Zero customer service. I ordered takeout here several times in the past as I pass through town often for work. I always stop at the host stand to pick-up the order. However, this visit, the host, named Hannah, was incredibly dismissive. She outright refused to gather my order from the kitchen. Instead, she directed me to the takeout window on the side of the building. I explained that I prefer to pick-up the order inside. No one answers the takeout window and you're forced to stand on the street, sometimes getting haggled for spare change. Hannah said she was too busy to help me. I went to the window, but of course, no one answered or acknowledged that I was there. After 15 minutes, I went back to the host stand. I explained to Hannah that no one was answering the window. She continued to act as though I was a nuisance in her shift, instead of a paying customer. I had enough. I asked for a refund. She said she would process one, but offered no receipt. I demanded a receipt for the refund. She sighed and said she would go get her manager. 5 minutes later, after being shoved around the host stand, a manager appeared to process the refund. He was equally rude. Not one apology. Basically just "go-away." I won't be going back to Condado again. The disregard Hannah and the manager have for paying customers is blatant. There are better restaurants in the neighborhood that actually want customers.

Yelp
Fantastic tacos! We ordered tacos to go when we were in town for a concert. The tacos were spot on. I loved everything about them. The tacos were even labeled on a box so we knew which tacos were which. I built my own tacos. The carne asada was amazing especially with the house salsa. I also had a Buffalo chicken taco which was pretty good as well. Had a bit of the Korean taco and that too was amazing! My entire family was happy with their tacos and service! I wish they had one in the DC. Area! If we are ever in Pittsburgh we will for sure stop for tacos again here!

Yelp
Some of the best tacos you will find around! The blue dream ones are outstanding. Very well filled with bed and toppings and very reasonably priced. 2 are good to fill you up. Swole bowl is very good with lots of ingredients to it and the jalapeño with the avocado ranch sauce give it just enough of a little kick without being too hot that you can't eat. Service was very fast and we got our food very quickly even though the place was pretty busy. We are at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and had great conversation. Everyone was very friendly and restaurant was very clean.

Yelp
Always love coming to this location! Sometimes it's hard to get in because of its great location downtown, but if you can snag a spot, you won't regret it. The decor is bright, fun, and inviting and they have a variety of seating options from low tables to high tops and some bar seats, as well. This location has seating both upstairs and downstairs with bars on each level. We came as a group of 4 and sat downstairs. Our server was friendly and prompt. I had a classic skinny margarita and it was as expected. I think it's a fair deal for $9.50. We split the half portion of the dip trio and asked for more chips towards the end. The pineapple guac was surprisingly good, as was the dirty queso. I chose two tacos that I'm very familiar with: a Lucy's fire and the ooey-gooey. I wasn't disappointed with either.

Yelp
Trendy Mexican chain in Pittsburgh. Good drinks and food. Seasonal harvest pear margarita was my favorite along with the braised and confused taco!

Yelp
Came here due to how close it was to the conference hotel I was staying at. I ended up eating here twice during my stay. Once with a to-go order and another in-person with a fairly large group. Service was quick, the food was pretty good, and so were the drinks. Our waitress confused some of our food and drink orders when we paid, but otherwise, it was a good experience.
google avatar

Yelp
We have had authentic Mexican out in CanCun and California so this was so far from Mexican tacos. Not close to Tex Mex southwestern, it was more on the plain side. Even the agua fresca tasted off. It tasted like when fruit starts to ferment, nothing Fresca about that! We first ordered chicken southwest and beef braised brisket, the we created our own chicken and beef with various different fillings but all lacked flavor and were not fully filled. The chicken one came with cabbage which we didn't ask for. This was the first place I've been to that had no hot sauce at the tables. The service was fast, friendly and attentive. If I was drunk I probably would've loved the food! This seems like the type of place you go when your shitfaced and want something quick to bite on. The artwork is really colorful and creative. I wish I could've posted more pics of the artwork!

Yelp
Food was just average. Actually my taco came cold. The guacamole was very good, I think that's the best thing they do. We were able to pick 3 kinds of guacamole/queso, and that was a fun option. The service was pretty good. I do appreciate their late hours.

Yelp
2-story Condados location right downtown. We went before a baseball game to get something quick to eat. Very cute decor inside by local artists. Service was friendly, but a little slow. Ordered a coconut lemonade seasonal drink. It was way too sweet. I had to keep diluting it with water as I drank it. The tacos were fantastic as usual. Love that there are so many options for everyone. I went the more traditional route with 1 braised beef, 1 carnitas with cilantro, onions, and salsa. My husband got a bowl with steak and chicken. We both thought our food was really good.
google avatar

Yelp
Incredibly over hyped/priced. We waited quite a bit before we had our orders taken. We didn't order food just drinks $23 for both. We had a harvest pear and regular margarita. The harvest pear was barely drinkable and the regular margarita was on par with an Applebee's dollarrita a very tall glass of sugar water not much else. They were seemingly understaffed on a slow weekday night. There's a low probability that I'll be back or recommend anyone come here.

Yelp
Updating my review to add more pics Everyone needs the mexican street corn. My favorites right now are The Heater and Blue Dream!!

Yelp
Craving a delicious and customizable feast without leaving your couch? Condado Tacos in South Hills Village delivers (literally!), offering the same vibrant build-your-own taco experience in portable format. I recently opted for takeout, and it was a seamless fiesta from start to finish. Ordering online was a breeze, with clear descriptions and photos to fuel your taco crafting dreams. Takeout was surprisingly efficient, with my food promptly ready and packaged fresh. Everything arrived steaming hot, the tortillas still supple and the toppings vibrant. It was like bringing the Condado fiesta directly to my door! Overall, Condado Tacos' takeout proved to be a delicious and convenient way to enjoy their build-your-own fiesta. Whether you're craving a solo taco night or fueling a family feast, Condado delivers the fresh, flavorful Mexican goodness right to your doorstep.

Yelp
Had 3 tacos. The Baja shrimp was alright but the Ooey Gooey was deliciousness and spicy! The chicken bacon ranch was also good.

Yelp
Visited for Tekko back in July 2023! Everything was amazing, the first thing you're hit with is the art and atmosphere. There is art covering almost every inch of this place, and on the menu, they credit all of the artists. It was stunning and I loved it a lot. Waitstaff was kind and helped me when I had made a mistake with understanding the pricing. And the food? It was amazing! I loved every bite and plan on coming back again soon. The prices overall are really affordable and its a great place for a quick bite.

Yelp
Good food and gluten free options. Our server, John, was really great. Glad we came here.

Yelp
One of the only restaurants around open near the financial District on a Monday evening past 9 o'clock, that offered more than fried food. I took a seat at the bar and was super excited for their menu of amazing margaritas, options for build your own tacos, or order from their preset menu. Super affordable for the area compared to all the other pretentious places that offer mediocre meals for the price. The bartender was great but working alone. The bar is on the ground floor with additional seating upstairs. The interior is fun. Loads of art and graffiti on the walls. Only note is the air conditioner is super loud when it comes on. I thought it was a downpour outside, on a metal roof. Easy to find but not the best area. Cops were hanging out on the curb and still again tonight. Guess it's safe enough.
google avatar

Vickey K.

Yelp
My go to Lucy's fire did not disappoint! If you go as a group, try out their jug of Margaritas- highly recommended!!! If you go in the evening and enjoy people watching, ask to seat in the porch and they will let you seat there.

Yelp
Popped in here with a party of 6 for some apps and drinks before our dinner reservation. We had to wait about 15-20mins and we sat at the bar while we waited. They were fairly busy and we didn't mind waiting, but one of the servers (not the bartender) kept making comments about other costumers and other workers loud enough for all of us to hear. It made the 15 min wait feel a lot longer and uncomfortable because she made it seem like we were in the way. The bartender had no issue with us waiting at the bar and we got a few drinks from her while we waited. We got seated upstairs and ordered the apps and drinks quickly. The chips were fresh and the dips were good. Margaritas were good and they had a very limited beer menu. It was a fine place for something quick downtown.
google avatar

Steph V.

Yelp
Food was amazing and the service was top tier. Our chips took a bit to come out but not long at all and our waiter gave us a huge tray of free chips because of the wait. Great place to go. Ambience very good and would recommend!

Yelp
I liked this place but it's not an authentic taqueria like Ive had in Texas and California. Still pretty darn tasty. Everyone at our table of 7 enjoyed their food. It is rather heavy and I'd say if you're hungry 2 tacos will do fine, 3 if you are starving. Service was attentive and food came out pretty fast. Come here if you want a tasty taco or bowl in a casual setting.
google avatar

Mag T.

Yelp
Happy hour weekdays 4-6! Seating upstairs and downstairs. Delicious margaritas. Friendly service.
google avatar

Yelp
Food was insanely good and reasonably priced. You can mix and match or make your own entree. Service was friendly and helpful with the menu. Michael was great. Great local spot.
google avatar

Yelp
Great spot for tacos in the burgh! Staff is always friendly and service is fast. Love the vibes of the downtown location. They have so many tacos to choose from or build your own! The dip trio is a MUST -- guac, queso, and salsa is too good to just pick one.
google avatar

Lindsey C.

Yelp
Unfortunately, this wasn't a win for me. I thought the tacos were very ok... the chips are really great, super crunchy. I've had both the Elote and the smoked queso and they are both good. The few tacos I've had are all just ok. They put a lot of sauce in them so they are a bit wet for my taste, super soggy fast. It was a fun place though and I would still go again....
google avatar

Lolo F.

Yelp
Non-traditional tacos, premade base for margaritas, and wonderful staff is how I would sum this place up in one sentence. The margaritas are definitely the Mickey D's of margs. Fast and manufactured tasting (hence the removal of a star. The tacos are also intriguing but after a few visits now, I tend to stick to the more traditional offerings. I LOVE the street corn dip!! As mentioned above, the servers and host staff have always been helpful and quite lovely.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing tacos! Amazing drinks! Fantastic service. Would go again and again if I lived in the area. Was visiting for a show at the benedum center.
google avatar

Arkadiusz S.

Yelp
The service staff gets full 5 stars. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Space is super fun and the bar is stocked with good selection of liquor. Unfortunately the nachos I got didn't hit the spot. I'm a big fan of good nachos and always in search for the best nachos out there. The skywalker nachos didn't have the right ratio of ingredients. It started with good amount of chips but it had way too much lettuce and jalapeño slices. The steak adder turned out to be way too tiny for these nachos. Getting some guacamole and sour cream would totally improve this dish. I am giving these nachos 6.4 out of 10

Yelp
Condado Tacos is easily located in Downtown Pittsburgh. It sits right on the corner. Togo orders are picked up outside the restaurant. There is a big sliding window where you give your name and the order it handed to you. Decided to try Condado as my usual taco food truck was closed. The place was packed. People were standing by the front door and lined up the steps waiting to be seated. I didn't ask how long the wait was. The music was playing at a medium level. We placed our to go orders on the website. It said our orders be ready in 15 minutes. We thought the Bud Box was the best bet. You get to pick 2 out of the 12 different specialty tacos. It also comes with chips and your choice of queso or guacamole. There was also a crunch box allowing 4 tacos either chicken or beef with basic toppings like cheese, lettuce, choice of sauces, and type of taco shell. Taco shells are corn, Dorito flavored shell, combo hard shell sitting in soft taco thats covered in queso. I tried the Blue Dream and Ooey Gooey. The Blue dream was beef taco in hard shell dipped in queso on soft shell. The Ooey Gooey was chicken with a spicy shell. Both tacos were pretty good. The queso was good. My son said the Ooey Gooey tacos were ok. The food was good and not overly priced. The hostess mentioned how crowded it was and pushing people out the way. I thought that was rude as I didn't hear her say excuse or ask people to move. Maybe it's a Southern thing. I thought that was rude. It was also too cold to pickup food outside. It was hard finding a place to park. I would say 3 stars. Give 3.5 stars if I could.
google avatar

Stuart O.

Yelp
I had higher hopes for this taco place. We came for lunch downtown. All the food is served in disposable dishes with plastic sporks. Not sure why they can't be a bit more environmentally conscious. The food itself was just ok. The sauce on the tacos was overdone and just dripped out. The meat was not vey warm. The kale bowl included stems that were hard and dirty. Everything was just so-so.
google avatar

Yelp
Quick happy hour. Great chips, salsa (house) and guacamole! So tasty and the bartender, Ms.Kim, was the best! She walked through the ingredients of the margarita mixes and switchEd me from my original selection to another, which was delicious and hit the spot! She was friendly and attentive the entire time we were there! Walkable from convention center!

Yelp
Food in Pittsburgh is truly incredible. If I had to pick a city to live in based on the food scene, Pittsburgh would be at the top of my list...! Ordered a custom bowl for delivery and it was delicious. The portion size was huge, I couldn't finish mine. My friends got tacos instead so perhaps next time I'll try those!
google avatar

Adelina P.

Yelp
This was amazing and the service was great my meat was so juicy and delicious it was not dry meat and it did not take long for it to come out
google avatar

Yelp
I recently visited Condado Tacos during their happy hour and had a fantastic experience. The chicken quesadillas were delicious, packed with flavor and the perfect amount of cheese. Their chips and dip were a great complement to the meal, too. What really made the visit memorable was the atmosphere and the staff. The place has a welcoming vibe, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend checking out Condado Tacos, especially for their happy hour deals!
google avatar

Nicole R.

Yelp
What a cool spot! Two levels. The music was awesome, cool alternative stuff. We got two of the bowls and the three buds. Three buds is the dip appetizer with three selections. We got the half Portion and it was so filling. The rice in the bowls is light and the bowls eat so freshly. Our server was so nice and helpful and had a cool mustache!
google avatar

Yelp
If you are blessed enough to find yourself in Pittsburg for Taco Tuesday, the answer is hell to the yeah. Iron City knows tacos. Beyond the queso that is perfectly portioned and properly garnished, nearly every third taco on the menu is a double decker. Who does't love that. Great selections from the classic taco to the fusion (Korean), the menu has something for all palates. Tequila takeoff. Tecate landing people. Stay Positive!
google avatar

James G.

Yelp
This taco place makes us want to into downtown Pittsburgh more often. I can't believe it took us this long to find this place. So worth it.

Yelp
Please please be warned!!!!! We heard that the tacos were tasty so we went and didn't heed what others had said on their reviews. The tacos were lukewarm, not hot AT ALL! We specifically asked if the tortillas would be warmed and they said yes. NOPE! In fact it was so lukewarm the cheese didn't melt at all. SO disappointing! The flavors were good but when you don't serve hot food hot, it's not very appetizing or appealing. There's so much potential here and such a very easy fix. How hard is it to warm food?! I'm giving it 2 stars because they did get the salsa and guacamole right. We had ordered chips, salsa and guacamole. The chips are homemade but lukewarm. They said they were made that morning. Again, it wouldn't be hard to throw them in the oven for a few minutes. It would make a huge difference. The pineapple salsa was great! It was fresh and had a wonderful flavor, as did the guacamole. It's not worth your time nor your money to pay the prices they ask for mediocre food. I suggest that you go somewhere else until they can get their oven up and working or when they actually use it. Sorry to have to write this but it has to be said :(

Yelp
This is such a cool restaurant, from the murals to the names of the food. My family came here after a trip to the children's museum and we had a good experience. Our server was kind and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. The queso was delicious, and our toddler was so happy it wasn't spicy! I had the blue dream and the el santo tacos and my husband had the braised and confused and I don't remember the other. We liked my "el santo" and didn't care for the "blue dream". My husband ordered another el santo only to find out when it came that the kitchen had accidentally switched the fillings for my original two tacos into the wrong shells so he ended up having to eat another one of the tacos we didn't really care for. He said his tacos were good but not amazing. The horchata on the other hand? Amazing. Delicious. Bring me 7 please. Other than the accidental switch up of my taco fillings, my only other knock on this place is the location (which I understand isn't really the fault of the restaurant and therefore didn't take off another star for it). There is a ton of homeless people down the sidewalks to get here and the entire block smells so strongly of urine, it didn't do great things for our appetites. Although the food, the service, and the horchata were good... we probably won't be returning due to the location.

Yelp
Service and guacamole were great. Build your own tacos and salsa were pretty bland. If you like some spice keep looking.
google avatar

Matthew M.

Yelp
Food was decent, $4-7 per taco. Friend did the build your own while I tried some of the "predesigned" tacos. I thought they were good not great. Also had a tater tot appetizer that I thought was good. Overall I was happy with the meal, but not far from blown away. We also had margaritas, I really enjoyed my jalapeño margarita. It was hot and humid so it was a refreshing treat. Friend had the mango margarita, less impressed with it. She thought it was too sour, and I ended up drinking most of it because I didn't want a $12 drink to go wasted. Service was good, we usually sit at the bar and generally you get great service at any bar. Staff was all friendly. You get your food super quick. The ambiance was tasteful, good vibes, beautiful bar. Smaller than I anticipated it being, but all around a cool place. Cool light fixtures. They had some goofy thing about snakes on the TV lol. Overall I thought it was okay, I would go back but without a lot of excitement.

Yelp
Amazing place with customized and unique tacos! Great vegetarian and vegan options. Would highly recommend getting the Thai chilli tofu as a protein

Hillary H.

Yelp
Service is great! Food is okay. They don't have quesadillas . What Mexican place doesn't have quesadillas. They have questionable wall art, which would be fine if only they had quesadillas.

Yelp
We stopped for a quick snack and a margarita to hold ourselves over before dinner. We were seated quickly because it was the weird in between lunch and dinner time and it was not very busy. The inside was very cool and had a lot of neat original artwork all over the walls. The menu had a lot of good classics and some unique flavors too. We decided to each try a taco and they were pretty good. There were a quite a few taco suggestions as well as the option to create your own. I ordered el tradicional on a hard corn shell and my significant other tried the Ooey-gooey. The house made chorizo was tasty and had just enough of a kick in the el tradicitonal, the guac, fresh toppings and queso fresco rounded this out perfectly. I am told the ooey- gooey was a good standard chicken taco. The margaritas were a little sweet for our taste but not bad but sadly they did forget the salt on them. The tacos were not huge, I would say a hungry adult would need at least 2 and some side dishes to fill up. I only mention that because sometimes it's hard to choose your order when you don't know portion sizes at a new place you visit.
google avatar

Steven H.

Yelp
While I find the menu here quite appealing, Condado has performed inconsistently on the myriad of occasions when I've ordered food to go. On several occasions, mistakes were made in the accuracy of the order and on others the tacos have been soggy. Meat portions seem sparse, even when ordering double. At times, my wife and I have been satisfied with our orders, but I am giving 3 stars due to the inconsistency in order accuracy and quality.
