Conestoga Mall

I had a great experience at Conestoga Mall in Waterloo! 🛍️ The mall is very clean, well organized, and easy to walk around. There are many great stores to shop from, and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The staff in different stores are helpful and professional, which makes shopping even more enjoyable. I also like the variety of places to eat and relax while taking a break from shopping.

Decent mall. Liked the Christmas display. Only issue I have is that it closes at 6pm which is early compared to Toronto. Indigo says it closes at 7pm but they started shutting the gates at 630pm which made me feel rushed

This mall is a great place to shop and spend time. It has all the major mobile providers, an Apple Store, clothing stores like Old Navy, and even a Zehrs for grocery shopping. There are also hair salons available. Parking is plentiful, but the only downside is that the mall closes at 6 PM on weekends.

Not bad, I like it there especially the tim Hortons and bourbons chicken there. It just makes my day there after going to the centre mall in Cambridge it's a long story of badness (you don't wanna know about it, but it's about having KFC there.) I just couldn't even spit it out my jaw got paralyzed (kind of) it's about the Cambridge mall. Anyways no problem with the mall very good place there. The food dine in is (not always), but good, and I always find a clean table and since I'm so nice (not to brag), but I even clean my mess on the table to make it spotless. And your tim Hortons chefs are sooooooooo good same with their KFC and bourbon chicken and famous wok (so Amazing). Will never stop going unless we're moving far (which will never happen because of you guys)

I ordered the butter chicken poutine on last monday and it was absolutely delicious! The flavours were perfect, the portion was great, and everything tasted fresh. Also want to mention the turban-wearing guy who is making the fries — he was extremely polite and welcoming. Excellent customer service overall. Definitely coming back!

Why restaurants in Ontario are so dirty! Always food in the floor, uncleaned tables…. The lack of supervision and poor management is somewhat of a culture here.

Always good to shop. Glad they finally changed the Christmas decorations this year. Was boring to see the same decorations every Christmas time. It looks beautiful :)

Conestoga Mall was right across the street from the hotel we were staying at, and it has a Winners, so we had to go, lol. We walked over, but of course there is lots of free parking. The mall itself is like any other medium to large mall in Canada with the usual chains. I did not see anything special about this mall. No unique stores or anything that really sets it apart from any other mall. The Winners was really picked over and was wasn't that great. The food court was just chains with no independently owned vendors. My husband and I walked around, but nothing caught our eyes, so we didn't buy anything. It's an ok place to poke around, but not a destination mall, at least not in my opinion.

I have been to Waterloo a handful of times now. I am generally there as a prospective student (last year of high school) or for work (interviewing intern candidates or going for an interview). Last Friday, I decided to check out a liquidation place. After I had done some damage there, I drove over to the largest mall in Waterloo to do some more spending damage. This mall is a bit misleading from afar. It looks like a small mall. I went into the Hudson's Bay and it is essentially one large rectangle on the first floor. It is both large and classy. I walked the entire mall. The food court is nice. There are booths there, which is different. I also appreciated that Spring Rolls has its restaurant in the mall, and an express version in the food court. The food court has Cultures and Bourbon Street Grill, two of my favourite places to eat when I'm at a mall. I went with the latter. The food was terrific. There is free wifi throughout the mall. If you need a shopping breather, you can always surf on your phone. I like the stores at this mall. Green Earth is a cool store with great gift ideas. I got a framed butterfly from a good friend there. I got a great deal on shoes (I wear a women's size 11) and a case for my cell phone at Winners. Next to that store is Cinnabon. The Nutella minibon is so good, but pretty messy to eat! Use plenty of napkins. The only place that I didn't go to was the Galaxy movie theatre. I didn't feel like a movie, even though I was at the mall for nearly four hours. I would go back there again. It's an ideal place to hang out for the day during the weekday.

This mall is probably the best you can get in Waterloo Region in terms of ambience and selection. Oh, and it even has an Apple store! Good transit connections as well from UW, Laurier, and well...most of the Waterloo core since the very frequent routes 7 and 200 both serve there. You can even do your grocery shopping inside as there's a Zehrs Market connected to the mall. The food court has the usual selections, though the addition of a Spring Rolls To Go and a Tandori makes it slightly more unique than others. Love the open concept of it by the way. The washrooms are very environmentally friendly as they encourage you to use the reusable towels they offer by the sinks. No need to use paper towels, no need to worry about bacteria from the dryers. I rarely rate malls a 5 as I believe malls are a hindrance to good urban development, but at least this mall incorporates environmental concepts to it.

Best part of the mall is probably the grocery store and the movie theatre right beside it. It's a 1 story mall with all your basic stores but since the Target closed down, a large sector of the mall has just been forever under construction.

This mall has been heavily renovated these past 5 years. I have seen it expand, and become bigger and better compared to how it was 10 years ago. The only indoor mall in Waterloo, popular for UW, Laurier, and high school students to hang out and shop. The main stores include Zellers, Zehrs, and The Bay. There is also a Galaxy Cinemas, now very close to an entrance of the mall. There are also a few restaurants accessible from outside - Spring rolls and Oliver & Bonacini. Popular shops include: Pink, Garage, H&M, Blnts, Jacob, Old Navy, Winners, the Gap, American Eagle, and an upcoming Apple store. They have drastically improved their food court, now with Tim Hortons, Subway, KFC/Taco Bell, Mac Sushi, and Bourbon St Grill; with a large amount of seating. Interior design has also drastically improved, with a more modern style, appealing to people of various ages. It is fairly easy to find parking throughout the year, with the exception of Boxing Day week. Many major bus routes go to Conestoga Mall, so it is also fairly accessible.

Largest mall in Waterloo has abundent options for your shopping needs. Very large food court and lots of eateries. Love the decorations they've put up for the Christmas time. Bit of an issue with finding stores and navigating your way around the mall, as there are no digital directories located near mall exits.

Conestoga mall is a great place to go to when shopping. It has a large food court with lots of seating. It also has a grocery store (Zehr's) and is adjacent to a movie theatre. You can find a lot of stores get you would find in large malls such as the bay, foot locker, H&M, gap etc. However, even with the large selection of stores I sill feel that it lacks stores for athletic wear like adidas and Nike. Even though there's a sport check, the selection is not as big.

Yep, it's a mall, but being from The States and seeing an entirely new variety of stores, how could I not be a fan? There are many international favorites, such as Gap and Old Navy. I even noticed a Victoria's Secret finally made its way up to Canada, although I still prefer to have a browse around La Senza when I visit. Other stores new to the American eye: - Bluenotes - Garage - Gizmo's - Jacob - Roots - Sirens - The Bay ... and many more that I didn't have time to explore. I was also pleasantly surprised by the food court's diverse options, and that the food actually looked good! In The States, our selection includes soft pretzels, a McDonalds, three Chinese stands, and a Sbarro (reheated pizza). But wait, there's more! Conestoga Mall also has a Zellers and Zehrs: a grocery story in the mall! It's a vast store too. My friend and I picked up everything she needed for her cookout after coming to the mall for her hair appointment. Great stuff, Conestoga!

This is a pretty good mall for a relatively small sized city. They have most of what you will need in the day to day from clothes, shoes, electronics, food, banking, grocery, pharmacy, movies, etc. This mall is one of the very few where the washrooms have cloth towels to dry your hands. The mall overall is also well taken care off and you will find it to be quiet clean. The mall also hosts the North terminus of the local transit system so it's easily accessible and then fairly convenient to leave for your next destination after your shopping trip.

Conestoga Mall is the local mall in Waterloo. I think it's the best large indoor mall in Waterloo, probably because it is the only large indoor mall in Waterloo. There is a lot of parking available for the size of the mall. Shopping opportunities abound with the vast array of shops available, including Old Navy, The Gap, The Bay, Zellers and Zehrs (yes, there is a supermarket in the mall), among many others. There is an excellent food court with an eclectic mix of restaurants including A&W, Spring Rolls and Tim Hortons. I have found that there is something for everyone!

Surprisingly good mall with great anchor stores, and decent selection of shopping. Food court is a bit meh, imho, although they cover the basics. They could do with more food options, some better anchor restaurants. But really, everything you need to live is available at this mall. Food, clothing, housing essentials, etc, all at relatively affordable prices.

It's your typical mall with known brands like bluenotes and American eagle and etc... I live near the place so its nice for a quick stop to get food or some clothes. Very good mall

Boring design and the usual stores. Lot of white people meandering about. I hate malls like this, target is the only thing I recommend. Zzz.

Everyone who's been to the University of Waterloo or Laurier knows about this mall. It's the first thing most people experience while studying in Waterloo and boy, it's not a really satisfying mall. They don't have any stores or great food court places that stands out. The best store they have is probably the Apple store, this is pretty much the only store students go to visit when going to the mall to either repair or buy tech to help them study better (jokes) . They also have an H&M, Cineplex, Foot Locker, Victoria's Secret, and other fairly generic national and international brands. But nothing that makes it worth going to besides the fact that it's one of the only malls in the area. The interior is pretty bland and nothing special, the layout of the mall is like a loop and it's not that big either, you could walk around this mall and pass every store in less than 5 minutes. There are not that many people there, even on the weekends and that can be seen as a plus or minus. Compared to the malls I've been to in Toronto (Yorkdale, Markville) this mall needs a lot of work to become at the same tier of quality.

For Waterloo 4 stars. If this was in Toronto I would give it 3. Good selection of stores including an apple store. Spring rolls is here too which is always a nice option for lunch or dinner. Target here is alright..also have a Zehrs.

Definately the nicest mall in K-W with a good selection of stores and a decent food court. You'll find groceries, Target, Apple, many fashion and electronics options here.

Great place with just the right amount of selection. One does not need 15 shoe stores along with 20 ladies bags and luggage stores.

Out of the few different malls I visited while in the Waterloo area, this was probably one of the better ones. They had a nice selection at the food court and had all the essential shops. For high-end retail you should probably visit downtown Toronto.

Conestoga has a lot things I enjoy but I do wish they had some of the stores fairview has. There food court though kicks fairviews ass. There for I will continue to go to conestoga more than fairview .
