What a gem! Confeitaria da Ponte is the perfect blend of charm, flavor, and atmosphere. I stopped in for a mid-morning treat and was blown away by the quality of their pastries crisp, buttery, and fresh out of the oven. The pastel de nata was easily one of the best I’ve ever had, perfectly caramelized on top with a creamy, warm center. The coffee was just as impressive rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. Whether you prefer an espresso or a creamy galão, you’re in for a treat. Best of all, the café overlooks the river, offering a beautiful, peaceful view while you enjoy your drink and pastry. It’s the kind of place you could easily linger for hours. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area a true taste of Portugal with a view to match.

Wow the tour guide was right. This coconut tart was served warm and absolutely delicious. Also one of the best coffees I have had in Portugal.

Pastries are awesome and made in house. It was hopping busy but we got served asap, with coffees and pastry delivered to our seats on the covered patio overlooking the river. A literal bird ate crumbs from my wife's hand. I half expected someone to burst into song from an overhead window.

Confeiteria da Ponte, conveniently located at the end of the Ponte de São Gonçalo bridge is a quaint, affordable pastry shop offering a great selection of local pasteries of which the main ingredient is egg and almond. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. We sat outside on the terrace with a view of the bridge and river. Umbrellas are available to shelter from the sun, yet still enjoy the breeze. We enjoyed our time on the terrace sampling our pasteries and drinking coffee. It's a cozy and relaxing atmosphere and the perfect stop after lunch.

To be honest, I was just there for an espresso, so I didn’t try any of the sweets. However, I can tell you that this place has a very aesthetic atmosphere, and I’d love to return sometime just to enjoy the beautiful views from the windows.

Popped in for some local baked treats and a coffee. The pastries were good and the service was pleasant. A nice little stop if you’re in the area.

Indeed, the best pastel de nata I’ve ever had. It is creamy and not too sweet at all. And the crust is not that thick as you buy in other cafes or bakery.

A guy in the supermarket recommended me to visit this confeitaria. He told me also this place was the first sweet house in this town. I got four pieces of sweets here including a piece of egg tart. They tasted very good!

Yelp
Pastries are very good. Service was good. The women who work here are very rude to customers. They take orders and do not put names or numbers on orders so they do not know who to bring the food to. If you ask about your order they snap at you. Very disorganized. It's ashame because the food is quite good.

Yelp
A lovely pastry shop with a great view! Pasteis were very yummy and the coffee woke us up. A great place to stop if you are making the trip from Porto to Duoro Valley as it's right in a cute town with plenty to explore!

Yelp
This is an old pastry shop right on the river. Indoor and outdoor seating. View is beautiful. Very inexpensive a variety of pastries, beer, tea, coffee, and of course Porto wine. I highly recommend you stop in here for a snack
