"Confianza China offers some of the best tostones on the island, drenched in a sweet and pungent caramelized garlic sauce. The restaurant is also known for its arroz chino, which features thick cubes of sweetened ham that Boricuas swear by."

Google
I don't know how this establishment got a 4.7 rating. The food is extremely bland and has no flavor. The atmosphere is appalling with 10 tables and chairs.

Google
Best Chinese food in Puerto Rico. The food was bomb! Garlic tostones were amazing and the portions are huge! Highly recommend and will def go again when I’m in town.

Visiting Puerto Rico, stopped In for a quick bite. Why does everything have pork in it? Sad. Not everyone eats pork, ordered shrimp with lobster sauce, it had chunks of ham in it, no thank you. If you don’t eat pork due to religious/cultural reasons, please don’t eat here.

Google
It's good. Give it a try. Orange chicken is the choice

Google
Although I gave a 5 star review, the only minus was their fried rice which is not traditional Chinese fried rice but was ok. Everything else was very good. Their boneless ribs were just amazing and just like those you buy in Brooklyn. The to stones with garlic were just out of this world. The place gets jammed packed and it's because of their great food.

Google
Not bad. I had the orange chicken and it was crispy. I didn’t like the taste of the eggroll. The rice is decent and who doesn’t love some french fries. I think the establishment could be cleaner for sure but sometimes thats what makes the food good. 😂

Google
We got to the place when they were getting ready to close. Fortunately for us, they were really friendly and took our order without a problem and the food came out quick and everything exactly how we ordered it. The food was delicious, definitely top 5 chino boricua in the whole island.

Google
The food was great, prices are a bit high. The place was busy as heck when we arrived, but it was worth it and they served us fast.

Yelp
Without a doubt, the best Chinese food in Puerto Rico. Yes, the first thing I tasted from here were the tostones, and I was hooked! Then I came with my family to try the food . Now, this is not a place that you come for the aesthetics and to take pictures. The food is the main and only star here if you're not sure, try one of the mini combinations. Portions are huge, I promise. You cant go wrong with orange chicken, but the carne ahumada it's just as good. Do yourself a favor and order the fried plantains with a little bit of garlic (you can order them without it too). You're welcome. This will always be my first stop whenever I land home .

Yelp
Pros- the food tastes amazing They give it to you hot They are quick (took less than 10 mins to get my food) The soda is 1.25 USD each for 12fl oz The service was great but try to be quick when ordering because this is a popular spot, we came on a random Wednesday and there was a lot of people In the middle- the environment is decent. This is more of a place where you go eat quickly then leave. Not a legit fancy restaurant When we went it wasn't to cold inside or to hot Cons- they were like 3 flies hovering around us, so when you get your food close it after The bathroom is really small, can fit only one person ( the girls bathroom at least, I haven't been in the men's ) They also don't have a changing station Overall I totally recommend, best Chinese food I've eaten in Puerto Rico so far, 100000/10

Yelp
Comida buena, servicio aceptable y espera convenientemente Lo único que el estacionamiento no es el mejor

Yelp
I read somewhere that the Chinese food in PR is amazing and they weren't lying. I would've never expected it but so happy I took a chance with this restuant. It's kind of out far out from where we were staying in Isla Verde but it was worth the trip. Our food came out really quick (less than 10min) and the cashier was really patient as we tried to figure out what we wanted. I got the combination noodles with garlic tostones. The garlic tostones were so garlicky and there were so many noodles that I had enough for dinner for the next day.

Yelp
Not very good food. It was at best mall material. And the service was worse. They were very rude to everyone. Like she didn't want to be there that day.

Jessica M.

Yelp
Food is amazing. Best Chinese place in Puerto Rico. Tostones, mofongo, carne frita Yum!!! It was so good to be back and PR and eat this kind of Chinese food

Yasmin B.

Yelp
Great food and service! Ordered to go and the restaurant appeared to be busy but still received fast service!

Eddie V.

Yelp
Not impressed with this place. We tried a few things but didn't get the wow factor that everyone else got. Fried rice was good. Everything else was lackluster.

Anastasia R.

Yelp
The best chino food we had in a long time. My group and I are from NYC and love our chinease food. This was a hole in the wall. Those are the best. We had combo fried piece chicken with arroz..so good. We also recommend the boneless ribs and tostones con ajo. My group was super hesitant at first. We stood and ate at the restaurant. Everyone was helpful and the place was generally clean. Please give this spot a try..you will not regret it!

Marimar R.

Yelp
Best Chinese fast food in the area. Los tostones con ajo son riquísimos! Service is fast and efficient.

Emmanuel R.

Yelp
My favorite chinese restaurant in PR. The food here is amazing and their portions from their combination plate is enough for two people. They dont skimp on portions and are very generous. This is the best chinese Ive ever had. If youre in PR this is a must stop for the best chinese.

Faye Y.

Yelp
The fried rice was so good!!! I was shocked. I love how everything comes with fries in puerto rico. Overall this was a light dish. The sauce on the shrimp and broccoli was light but good paired with the fried rice.

Chica B.

Yelp
Confianza China it is!!!! This is my second time and trust me, oh my, how much I miss my Puerto Rican Chinese food. The portion and the flavor. We ordered a family combo, I believe is #D, a bucket of fried rice, 10 pieces of fried chicken, order of pepper steak and order of sweet boneless ribs. The order comes with french fries and this include a large bottle of soda (these people do not believe in diet soda). I switch the fries for two extra pieces of chicken and a order or their famous tostones al ajillo (garlic plantain chips). With all these we fed a family of 6 (4 adult and 2 teens) and was left over for 2-3 more for the next day. I wish I can find one of this places in the US. Puerto Rico does it better.

Yelp

Yelp
location is not the greatest and finding parking can be a nightmare, but the food is worth it. They serve large portions, typical Puertorican chinese rice, with French fries and whatever other meat you add to it. I had the spare ribs and also the garlic chicken "pollo al ajillo". They obviously know what they are doing and the word is out because the place seems to always be packed. So I recommend calling ahead and placing your order to avoid waiting online. They do have two lines when you walk it, the left line is for take out orders and the right line for people eating there. And in case you are wondering why I have mentioned the "tostones" is because everyone else already has. Yes, we ordered them as well, and they were delicious, crispy and full of garlic flavor. You just can't go there and not order the "tostones".

Ana Z.

Yelp
Wow best puertorrican chinese fusion EVER. It is in a weird location in a little mall but omg it is sooooo worth it. 100% recommed!

Junqing L.

Yelp
We found this hidden gem during our trip to El Yunque! The food taste good and service are nice! We will come back next time!

Oprah G.

Yelp
Dont be fooled by the outside this is the beat chinese food Ive had in PR or the states.

Alyssa-Kristen A.

Yelp
All over the internet it says their location closes at 10pm. I am traveling and arrived at the location at 9:30 and the location was completely closed ! Very disappointed if they have a different schedule they should definitely update online more so on yelp! This place was sent to by recommendation but I will never try and come here again. And will not recommend.

Sebastian S.

Yelp
GARLIC TOSTONES= AMAZING. Wherever you are on the island, a trip here for the tostones is seriously worth it. These garlic infused tostones are almost addictive. They are the most heavenly tostones I've ever tried in my life and you could honestly eat a whole container of them without even realising it. No mayo-ketchup even necessary. If you love garlic and you love tostones I promise you you'll fall in love with these. Who know a Chinese restaurant would make one of the best tostones on the island. I've even tried recreating them at home but they never even come close to the ones here. The regular Chinese food here is mediocre..just your typical Chinese food that you would expect for takeout. Although the amount of food you get for what you pay was incredible. I ordered the orange chicken and fried rice and the serving size was at least for two people. It even included fries as well. All for around 7$. This place gets ridiculously crowded at all times and the wait time can be annoying. However, I promise it's worth the wait.

Yelp
If you want to eat the best Puertorican Chinese food in the Metro Area, come here. The food has the best flavor in town, hands down. Try the boneless ribs, their BBQ sauce is finger licking good. The fried rice is great, pairs well with anything in the menu. Do not forget to try their garlic tostones, the Chinese restaurants in the island are know for having the best tostones and this place does not disappoint. The carne frita here is good too. They give a lot of food so you will have leftovers.

Rafael V.

Yelp
The fried chicken and the fried rice were good. I believe that NYC has the best Chinese food and this was good to NYC standards. But the tostones con ajo were out of this world. I am Dominican and I am ashamed to say that these were the best tostones I ever had.

Vincent V.

Yelp
Wow, just wow!!! This Chinese place is truly by far what comida china Puertorriqueña means!!! You have to try los tostones con ajos!!! Crispy and flavorful... no salty but just perfect... the rice have everything that the old fashion way was made.. jus delicious food!!!

Gabriel R.

Yelp
THE BEST Chinese restaurant in the island!!!! The true flavor of traditional puertorrican Chinese food! The restaurant is in Carolina and I never mind the 45min drive just to eat here! Efficient call and pick up service, although the clientele can sometimes be very dislikable. Nevertheless the only Chinese restaurant in town where you will actually eat the whole combination! Just so good!!! You'll understand why it's called "Chinese Confidence"

Juan M.

Yelp
Daniel must go and try the tostones, they are simply the best I ever had in my life. Framely, just go with him, please. TRY THE TOSTONES!

Melissa R.

Yelp
The food was so good. Portions are huge $46 for 4 combos, an order of plantains, boneless ribs and drinks. Tostones w extra garlic was a bit salty but so good. I like that the combos are served with house special fried rice at no extra charge. The staff are super organized and efficient.

Tiffany H.

Yelp
Great place for fast take out! Food portions are huge. 1 plate can feed two. The flavor of the food was spot on. Nothing americanized about it! Genuinely Chinese food. When i visit Puerto Rico again, i definitely will pass by for seconds!

Nichole S.

Yelp
THE best Chinese food in Carolina. They're always packed for a good reason. Their tostones con ajo are actually the best I've EVER tried ... anywhere!!

Jorge O.

Yelp
If you want chinese food and tostones in Puerto Rico, then you have to eat here. He best fried rice in P.R hands down (not counting fancy restaurants)

Angel A.

Yelp
A really good place- visiting from NY and must say food is actually good- maybe even better than the NY version with a pinch of Spanish flavor. Recommend the place to anyone looking for a quick bite to eat-

Samantha Z.

Yelp
Food was good for fast Chinese food take out or eat in. Owner was helpful and nice. We got chicken lo mein and it was soft and tasty. Tostones (fry thin plaintain with garlic) was good. Beef and brocoli combo was not bad but I didn't like my french fries sitting in the sauce. You get good amount of food for the proce.

Wanda M.

Yelp
The tostones with garlic are SPECTACULAR!!!! The best part is you can request them with extra garlic and they are happy to oblige. The food is just amazing! I always bring back a family bowl of their delicious Chinese rice to Milwaukee with me and it reheats beautifully! After seeing my mom, this is the second place I go to when I visit my beautiful island!

Pretti L.

Yelp
Delicious Food(Definitely get the Tostones I devoured them before I made it home) and speedy service! Reminds me of home!!(NyC)

Joanne A.

Yelp
Awesome chinese food, and very cheap. Recommend calling beforehand to place order since it's always full. The "tostones con ajo" are the best!!!!

Alex A.

Yelp
Amazing Chinese food, definitely order on the phone beforehand. Their won ton soup is really good and their to stones are the best
