Connemara Lake Hotel

Spent 3 nights here. Lovely quiet hotel in a central location. Beautiful food and breakfast. Great service and lovely staff. Very comfortable room and clean. The hotel has its own style and decor. It's not a modern new minimalistic hotel.

Lovely family type hotel, central in the town, room was fresh and quiet for sleeping. Breakfast was great. Staff were very helpful, We left some electronic items in the room, they posted them on to me with no fuss and at their own cost. Thank you.

We arrived late on the first evening of our road trip. We were given the last room for a great price including breakfast. Great hotel in the middle of the small town, you can actually do everything without a car. The breakfast was super great. The Guinness at the bar in the evening too 🤗 We will be back. The two German girls ☀️💯

Stayed in a family room. They were super helpful, rooms were clean, bathroom clean, shower a good temperature and wonderful water pressure. Breakfast was also super worth it and they had gluten free bread ☺

We stayed here while travelling for work. The staff are lovely and very welcoming. The hotel is very clean. The rooms are a great size and the breakfast was lovely

No hotel carpark. Extremely dated interior. No lifts, narrow staircase. Room small, dated and with mismatched cheap furniture. Window view of high back wall of hotel. Shower absolutely disgusting with mould. Food was inedible. £172 for one night

Room cold spoke to owner very rude and reply back was what u want me to do three people came to room to sort heating nothing fixed it fame on and off had to look for staff nobody reception over all very disappointed one staff member nice rest could not of cared like staying in IKEA room mi's matched furniture

I would say this is an hotel a little bit stuck in the past and probably would cost too much to modernize to better standards. There are lots of things you would slate a newer hotel for but have to accept at this level. Our room was very small. Only 1 bedside locker fitted in and the bed was very low for some reason. The 10 minute tap running time for hot water not ideal either and very wasteful. The staff were friendly and very hardworking. Breakfast was very good. We did have an evening meal which was fine. I noticed a lot of locals eating in that evening which is always a vote of confidence in the food.|Evening meals are only available 3 nights at the weekends. At €190 per room the hotel is not great value and reflects demand locally rather than the value offered.
