Connemara Smokehouse, Factory Shop & Cafe

What fantastic smoking. Popped in yesterday just as they were closing for the day. Lovely history and description of the process of the smokehouse on display. We purchased a small pack of smoked Mackerel and took it back to where we're staying. We cut it open tonight and had it wit toasted soda bread and horseradish. Utterly delicious! If you're in the area, pop in for a treat. Brilliant!

This lovely place in Connemara is located on a most beautiful beach. The little Café on the side has amazing food. Fresh Lobster Salat smoke salmon and gorgeous ice cream. Family owned and very friendly. Highly recommended on your visit to Connemara.

This is a must-do experience for visitors to Connemara who enjoy seafood. The smoked fish products are incredible. The cafe is a special treat as well. Helpful and friendly owner and staff. We enjoyed our visit. With proper handling, our take-home products made it back safely to Florida!

Graham and the family run the best experience in Connemara. Their smoked fish is truly delicious. We loved learning all about the smoking process, fishing and tasting the variety of food and coffee in the lovely cafe. I highly recommend visiting this part of Connemara.

Wow! Great tour about the smoking process and the fish. Really enjoyed it! Fantastic area to visit too. I enjoyed the welcoming we received. Can't wait to eat my salmon and markril I bought.

Nice place. The smoked fish from the smoke house is amazing. The Cafe though is a bit dull with a very limited menu, basically smoked salmon served 3 ways, or a tasting plate. And a bit over pricey at almost €20 per sandwich. Just broaden the menu a bit and don't be so ambitious on the prices.

We had a really great tasting experience today with local top quality fish products and fascinating insights. Friendly and skilled family-business with high standards and good ethos. Highly recommended!

What a quality! Fantastic smoked tuna mousse (picture @Keem Bay) so delicious with crackers. Even with the Vivid restrictions , Graham gave us stationary tour explaining the process.
