Wow this place is wild. So many stores, so much to see. Highly recommend all the stores on the second level, plan to be there awhile. What a great place with so many great finds and odd things! -1 star for the first level it was slightly overwhelming and just so so much stuff

So glad we stopped at this antique mall! The building is beautiful. Lots of shops with a wide variety of items!
We actually came here because The Noble Cakery is here and the lovely Barb is going to make our daughter's wedding cake!!!!
This building is full of great shops and we are blessed to have found Barb! She's a gem and we're SO excited for her to be part of our daughter's special day!
Definitely go! Check out every floor! It's just incredible!

If you enjoy looking at antiques, thrifting, or simply finding a good deal I could not recommend Conover Square Mall enough! They also have a lovely jewelry selection upstairs. There are a variety of antique pianos on display throughout this old piano factory, and you're able to play a majority of them.

Worth the drive to see this from out of town. Lots of older antique stuff at decent prices. Friendly workers and the location even had a restaurant inside as well as a place you can sit down and paint at. I bought a painting of a cat for $15.

This place is cool! A old and possibly haunted piano factory turn into a couple dozen individual thrift stores and antique shops, a miniature train museum and even restaurants, it's definitely an interesting place to visit and explore! Right on the Rock River dam too, with parks and fishing, it's a awesome historic place to see!

Conover Square is a large space that can seem like a maze at times. The building is an old piano factory and worth the trip to see. There are various vendors with a good mixture of farmhouse and MCM.

A very unique space! From a historical point of view a must visit. The owner has taken it upon himself to collect and display pianos that were manufactured at this building many years ago. The pianos that were associated with this factory competed with the well known New York City makes. It's nice to see a single individual inject so much of his own energy in preserving this structure, it's pianos and piece of Illinois history!

Conover Square is a really cool mall with many antique shops. There are a variety of different businesses, a museum and a railroad club. There were so many "antiques" I wanted to purchase. My favorite item was the aftershave car shaped bottle I remember my dad had when I was a kid.

Yelp
It was perfect weather to take a 90 minute Sunday drive from Wheaton to what they bill as the largest antique mall in the country.
I estimate that 95% of the stores were closed. Fortunately, the hallways were filled with antiques. So we browsed the hallways. I am no expert in antiques, now referred to as Vintage , but if you want to buy a piano or sewing machine cabinet, this is the place to go.

Yelp
A very large building with many little shops. This place turned out to be a great find! Lots of really cool pieces. The lady that helped us was great. Super friendly and cool. The whole place was interesting to walk around! A great vibe! Give them a try! You'll find great deals!

Yelp
My friend and I were there after 9 am on a Tuesday morning this week and, with the exception of a hair salon, everything was closed (some spaces appeared to be permanently shuttered. Thrift store junk lines most of the halls on the main floor making it feel mazelike and claustrophobic. It's not very well lit and there is an overwhelming musty odor in places. I didn't even want to see what was upstairs. It was a weird vibe and I felt very uncomfortable. It used to be a charming mall with unique stores and its history is interesting but it's now disappointingly run down and confusing.

Yelp
Such a great outing here today! Is it a mall in the sense of finding a Claire's, an Auntie Annie pretzel shop??? uhh noo, but it is a kick butt converted piano factory with a wide variety of antique booths and small vendors to keep you occupied if in the area! Unfortunately it was a Sunday so only 1/2 the stores open but we still enjoyed and found plenty of reasonably priced items to purchase! This place has a ton of potential and I hope will be lovingly restored as the market improves! My daughter enjoyed playing with the antique pianos on display and even received an unexpected impromptu lesson by a kind fellow pianist as well as a demonstration of the antique player piano! Would recommend a visit if passing by!

Yelp
This place is huge! Specialty gifts, resale & antiques, a cafe--Conover Square has it all. My husband and I drove from Blue Island to purchase a shabby-chic cabinet I had fallen in love with on my first visit to the square. That day we left with the cabinet, an assortment of vintage video games he purchased, and a strawberry banana smoothie!
Everyone is very helpful and friendly, this is a place you'll want to return to too.

Yelp
I haven't been here is a few years and now I know why! This is one sad depressing place! Rundown, dark and full of second rate unattractive, dirty stores! At one time the coffee shop probably generated some traffic but it is gone! I honestly don't understand how this sad place stays in business but somehow it does! The rent must be very low to keep the stores it does manage to have to stay in business. I get depressed every time I go there! I heard in the 1970's it was a very popular busy place. If so, it is a ghost of its former self. Don't waste your time! Even the store staff is unfriendly when they should be thrilled you are even there!

Yelp
Take an old piano factory and turn it into a small town shopping center, and you have Conover Square.
We come out to Oregon to stay at the summer house and wander around town. The house has no television or computer, so there's not much else to do...
So we drive into town and visit this quaint little shopping mall. Every time we come here, there seem to be new businesses like a knitting shop or candle store. My favorite is the 1st floor coffee shop. The couple that run it are friendly and offer a wide variety of cold and hot drinks.
There is also a "museum" on the top floor and a volunteer-run miniature railroad group.

Yelp
Conover was a neat place back in the 80s. Now it really needs a facelift, inside and out. The carpeting is deplorable and so is the paint scheme throughout.
The stores that are inside have odd hours. There is no "open and close" structure. Some stores don't open until after 10 am and are only open limited days of the week.

Yelp
This was a pretty sad place. Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon in mid March. A lot of the shops were closed. What was open was resale (Flea) and antiques. Not worth going out of your way for or even taking the time while in Oregon (and I love antiques). We had a coffee & tea and some truffles at the café. But have to give that thumbs down - my chai tea was just an instant packet in hot water. My husband's espresso was 20 inches of foam on top - he was very disappointed. The chocolate truffles looked great, but taste was blah.

Yelp
I never seen such a run down place sorry to say how can they call this a mall? Theres a hole in the floor covered with carpet I almost fell over it is small but its still a hole needing to be fixed and not just covered waiting for an axident to happen. The bathrooms are so run down and some were out of order. If you look on the west side of the building the building is bulging out and they tried to fix it with a few beams. How can they leave this in the condition? Isnt this a healt hazard? I guesss since this isnt Chicago they dont have building codes. Its was also raining and the had buckets put all over to cath the water comming in. Most of the stores werent even open even though the stores signs said they were suppsed to be open. Theres a restaurant open 5am-11am it should be open all day. I did manage to see a few stores but most of the stuff I seen for sale I wouldnt even want free its mostly all used. It wasnt worth the long drive!
