Great experience! We had the snapper and salmon. The Spanish rice is wonderful. We also had the Chocolate Tuxedo Bomb and Raspberry Lemon Drop Cake, which both were superb. They also offer catering.

This is my second time visiting and won’t be the last. The first time I ordered a shrimp burger and it was sooooooo good I ended up eating half of another one. The bartender also made a pretty tasty side car and the guava cheese cake was delicious! This time we ordered a board for two with double trout, octopus and shrimp plus Yucca fries, and veggies. The flavors were immaculate! I can’t wait to come again to try other dishes.

OMG...... When I tell you to come hungry, believe it! The food here is so great. We asked our server for suggestions since it was our 1st time. We were asked what kinds of things we liked. After our input, we decided on the board for 2 with 4 protein options. Each and every dish was stellar. We will definitely be back for this hidden gem.

Will update yall ☺️ I got the personal Mar board, come with grilled octopus, shrimps, trout (I subbed for the beef stew, too sweet in my opinion) and Spanish rice and also a side salad (I wish was a bit bigger) but overall delicious nonetheless. Perfectly grilled octopus, the Spanish rice was deliciously seasoned, and shrimp was good. Get the bodega sauce for your salad! Great experience all around!

The food was amazing. The seafood platter él was excellent. The ambience is a little bit dull for me. The server did not know how to answer a simple question. The question was how much does the pork shop weighted. The reason I wanted to know it was because I wanted to see if the plate was for one or two people. As the food reaches the table it looked amazing and the flavor was off ( just needed more salt). The sea food platter was great although the menu stated that it had octopus, it was clearly meaning that protein. The prices were extremely high, especially the pork shop plate which was $75 dollars. I will give it another chance but I would love to have a more specific description of the items and I expect the proteins that I get charged for in my plate. The atmosphere was nice but the music didn’t match the place. If it’s a Spanish/ Puertorican style restaurant, then the music should reflect the theme.

The owner himself was very nice to us. The waitress was funny and very attentive. The food was very tasty and my wife (from Spain) really recommends the Spanish rice. We will definitely be back soon!!

We always enjoy eating here! This is one of our special occasion spots! Always good service and good. I got the cerdo frito encebollado. Delicious and you have to try the salad with the Italian pineapple mango dressing. Top tier. My husband got a board for one with the chicken. Daughter got the cheeseburger per usual, but she loved it! We will continue to be customers here.

Edit because I went back again - still amazingly delicious. They changed up the meat board to include your choice of protein so now instead or land or sea, you can get either type together which is a major improvement I didn't know it needed. We got the board for 4 and it was sooooo much food (I made an octopus salad and tacos with the shredded meat leftovers). We chose all 7 proteins and doubled down on the sweet, shredded meat. The portions the most recent go around were exceptional (especially the octopus!!) compared to the last visit. I just love this place and wish I could budget it on the regular. Our favorites are the shredded meat, sausage, and octopus (but love it all) (Old review) Love the entire experience when we come here. Our waitress is always amazing, the food is exceptional, and the vibes are relaxing. This is our second time here and it is consistently good. We did triple land meat board this time, and added Mahi and the steak. There isn't a "least favorite" out of the whole board because it's all just delicious and unique tasting comparatively. The grilled octopus appetizer was so good, and we ended the night with desserts and coffee. Good wine selection, but they were out of the original type we wanted. However, they compensated us with the same price but gave us a more expensive wine. Overall, it couldn't have been a better experience. We drive over from Columbus and will be back again in the near future. Love this place.

Don't let the outside fool you. It's in a small strip center, and hard to see from the road with overgrown trees. Food was excellent. Ropa Vieja tasted like it was made by a Cuban Abuela. The skirt steak had great flavor, was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The Spanish rice had a good flavor to. I cleaned my plate. Don't come thinking Mexican restaurant. The waiter was also very attentive. We live an hour away, but will be back to try more things on the menu, and enjoy more of what Auburn has to offer. We go to Columbus, Georgia on occasion and can't wait to try their sister restaurant there.

Where to start? A friend and I had to spend an extra night in Auburn and after grabbing some wine at Walmart before heading back to the hotel, she wanted a fun drink. Found this place. Walked in and sat at the bar. The owner, Cesar, made us some drinks and gave us lots of things to try. The fun only started there. He was amazing. He brought us a "board," and the food was absolutely delicious! The entire evening was absolutely so unexpected and better than we could have asked for. We have already decided we'll be back with our friends next time we're in Auburn. I only hope that you'll be able to meet Cesar and get the same treatment we did! 100%!!! 10/10!

Food was amazing!! Service was very disappointing. Waited for refills and to order for a long time. Waiter was definitely more concerned with other things than taking care of the table, brought wrong entree (offered free dessert), when we did get a refill it had no ice. But again food was beyond good. It was great.

The food was amazing and very delicious. We had a pitcher of homemade Sangria and mojitos. Incredible atmosphere and an outstanding rooftop bar.

This is my fifth time coming over from Columbus. They had advertised the football games on TV so I wanted to check it out. Sat right in front of the TV, ordered the beef empanadas and it was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Ordered the cheeseburger with steak fries as an entree and let me tell you about this burger. This was the most flavorful and juicy burger that I've ever had. The seasoning on the beef patty was insane and the burger itself was thick. I will definitely be returning to try other menu items. Awesome service. The waitress was well versed on the menu items and provided recommendations. Conquistador is a nice little gem in Auburn. You will do well to give them a try.

This is a special place when visiting the Auburn area. Off the beaten path, and as it should be. Ambience is perfect for a travelers rest as well as an intimate dinner party! A come one come all type of venue. Food was great! I came hungry and let them pick my meal... I never do that! The place is ran with enthusiasm and laced with culture!

Amazing great service and ambience! Cesar made our food experience great! Blown away with the octopus and the shredded steak. Oh I almost forgot about the Guava Cheesecake. The cherry on top of the great food! A must have if you are in the area!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Cannot say enough about the food, staff and owner Caesar! This place is unique and won't disappoint! We were blown away by how amazing the food was and the way the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our group! 10 out of 10 RECOMMEND!!!!

Service and drinks were fine. Ordered a board meal for 2. Tastes and food were just not my thing. I really wanted to like it but won't go back. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing...???

I haven't reviewed a restaurant in a while, but Conquistador was so delicious that I feel obligated to spread the word. The food was incredible. The octopus appetizer was probably my favorite, with the turkey avocado wrap being one of the best I've ever had. Even the chicken noodle soup was fantastic. The ambiance is really fun, with an awesome rooftop deck. The deck was perfect for our son to run around/hang out on while we waited for lunch. We'll definitely be back!

The atmosphere was ok and everyone was nice enough. But the service was really disappointing. Granted it was a Friday night and granted the restaurant apparently is only 3 months old, but at every opportunity the service was extremely lacking. There was no hostess and although several service members walked by, no one greeted our party, nor any of the other parties gathered awkwardly at the door. The restaurant was busy but even as it started to thin out, the service members seemed more interested in socializing with each other than checking on their guests. The food was ok, it's cool to see a different menu, but when you feel like you got terrible service it ruins the whole experience.

This has become one of our favorite places in town. Conquistador is a one of a kind place. Typically Spanish with some Latin fusion influences. The owner is clearly passionate about what they are putting in the plate. Don't miss this gem.

Newer Spanish food place on S College. Unique menu with excellent food and drinks. I will definitely return to try more dishes.

A bit pricey for what you actually get. Never the less, the octopus is delicious and the staff is wonderful!

Found this restaurant on Yelp and decided to give it a try. The food was excellent. We started with the grilled octopus and I had the Choripan Sandwich and my girlfriend had the Sweet Steak sandwich. All three were excellent. Food is Spanish not Mexican/latin so well seasoned but not spicy(hot). Service was good. The owner/manager greeted us at our table and reviewed the menu. Server was prompt and attentive. The restaurant was clean and well put together. It appears they have live music in the evening? We were there for lunch so there was a very light crowd. It is located at the end of a strip mall type building. Would highly recommended. Prices were very reasonable.

If you will seek out Conquistador you will not only be blown away on your first visit, you will also long for your next opportunity to dine here. The hospitality of Joy and her team is evenly matched by the amazing culinary skills of the kitchen. Owner Cesar Bautista has added another star to the Auburn dining scene. A must try for the discerning diner who appreciates great food and great hospitality! Excellent!!

This restaurant might just be the best in Auburn. The food is absolutely fantastic, offering some of the most flavorful dishes I've enjoyed since moving here. You won't be disappointed!

Food, service, and atmosphere was great. Highly recommended! I had the Cubano sandwich with Spanish rice. Absolutely delicious. The homemade sangria was also spectacular

Good staff seafood was very fishy. Not fresh. Drinks were OK not great. Might try one more time but staying away from seafood.

It's not a bad place but certainly not my favorite. The food was okay but don't think I'll return. Very nice people but under whelming.

Food was OK, nothing great. The biggest problem was red wine was 14/glass .... Spanish wine ???? It has potential but right now not so great. Too expensive for what it offers.

Food was amazing, friendly environment and the prices are fair. Service was very friendly and made you feel at home as soon as you walked through the door. Out of all the dinning experiences in Auburn I would have to say this was my favorite.
