We had booked stay for 2 nights through MMT app. Eventhough the neighborhood has many 4 star and 5 star hotels, we specifically opted Conrad as it is the upscale brand of Hilton group, so that we could experience what ultraluxury meant and how Conrad stands apart from rest of Hilton brands. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations.
Rooms - No complaints here. Beautifully designed rooms with good view. We stayed in 7th floor
Housekeeping- Poor. Only bed was made up. Bath towel was missing and we had to inform them to replace it. Same story with drinking water and other replacements.. We had to call up reception to replace them.
Buffet dinner and breakfast - We had expected an excellent spread here, but I would say the spread is limited for ultraluxury category. Taste was ok, not great. Here too, we felt staff were less attentive and pre-occupied.
Overall great location, beautiful rooms, however from my personal view, the property loses mark in areas of service and buffet.
We had checked in Sheraton grand brigade road 2 days later with reduced hopes, but they surprisingly exceeded our expectations with excellent service, buffet and rooms.
Ultimately what matters most is the experience of guests.
