Conrad Chia Laguna Sardinia

Not just that the staff were rude… the kids pool were “GREEN” but also they recommended my wife to go with our 5y old boy in this Amazing pool and they didn’t allow them to use any other. Unsecured kids area! It’s extremely expensive for no reason… “Huge” resort… yes, but this only make you walk and walk more and more… no inside pools or SPA. Ridiculous gym… At 22:05 from the restaurant rejected to make any kind of food, even for the small one after we delayed to come back. 15€ for every food/drink delivery in the room. No matter how much does it cost the order. Front desk - OMG… Only some of the waiters were really nice. On their beach no food, some kind of restaurant which offered lunches but I believe that if I was in the kitchen I would do it better. Thanks god that this is one of my hundreds time in Italy and I know how generally is… otherwise if was my first time I will probably not visit Italy again.

Spent a few nights here in May with a friend of mine and we had the absolute BEST experience ✨️ From the attentiveness of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and the attention to detail, I don't even know where to begin. Staff were always welcoming and helpful and had thought ahead of your every need. A special thank you to Marco who really tended to our every need. There are golf buggies to take you across the resort and to the local beaches so we never had to worry about transportation. The hotel itself and the rooms were absolutely immaculate and spotless. The pool outside was lovely and cool & served delicious food with a lovely view of the lagoon and sea. The spa was phenomenal, had a lovely massage and used it's many pools and facilities, including a roof top jacuzzi. The Terreza restaurant on site was incredible- we had many tasteful dinners there, but the highlight was the desserts! The dessert chef was just *chefs kiss*. Our favourite was the mango sandwich! The room we were in was very spacious, with a bath and a shower. There was huge garden space outside with a terrace and garden area with tables and chairs, as well as sun loungers. It was just a fantastic stay and one of the BEST 5 star hotels I've had the pleasure of staying in. If you're looking to relax, unwind and not have to think about a single thing, this is the place for you.

May 2024. A dreamy Sardinian escape. The hotel and grounds were spectacular. Enormous estate with hilltop views over the sea, overlooking beautiful landscapes and beaches with flamingos. The hotel foyer was enormous and could have fit another hotel inside it, beautifully sleek. The gardens were paradise with lagoon-like pools around the site but also one main modern pool. This hotel would be perfect for families but we found it to be quiet and perfect for a romantic couples stay too. The room got upgraded into a suite which was more like an apartment. Really stunningly decorated and clean and modern yet cosy apartment with an incredible view. Food. Top notch, both at the restaurant for dinner and also the breakfast which had an amazing selection. Beach: TO DIE FOR. The fluffiest pale sand with calm, shallow turquoise water. Such a heavenly experience relaxing there. The hotel provides frequent shuttles to their private beach which was a really great touch. The hospitality: 10/10. Being welcomed with ice cool cloths and an upgrade really left me so relaxed. Nothing was too much and the hospitality was so kind, warm and professional. We were allowed to continue using the pool for a few hours after checkout before our flight. The professionalism and kindness of the staff really made our stay here unforgettable. Every detail was worthy of 5 stars. Truly blown away.

The Conrad Hilton’s rooms and lobby were well decorated. Everything was updated and elegant. The patio was wonderful. No matter how nice the rooms were everything was ruined because every time you walked into the room it was muggy and hot. If the nightly rate is 600+ I better walk into an ice cold room if the outside temperature is as high as it is. We came back from dinner and couldn’t get to sleep because it took over an hour for the room to cool down. Extremely disappointing. I get the hotel is trying to conserve energy but in reality it takes more energy to cool a hot room down everyday instead of just keeping it at a comfortable setting. Staff seems under manned and overworked. I had to wait for over 15 minutes to be helped at both check in and check out. I was the only one in line for both occasions, its not like they were busy. There doesn’t seem to be enough available at the restaurants or spa. I wasn’t able to even visit the spa to use my Diamond “welcome” benefit because there was no available. Not to mention actually pay for an hour message. The restaurants all could only offer dinner after 9pm. The food at the restaurant was overall disappointing if not bad. The beach experience was nice but found the service and variety lacking. They have a very limited menu. During our stay we saw the cabana was served a bottle of Prosecco. I asked if I could be served the same bottle but was denied and told I would have to book a cabana. I asked if I could just pay the same amount but be served at umbrella as the cabana looked lame but was denied. Late during the day we went to an empty beach and the towel lady asked us to pay extra for a front beach chair seat. There was no one in over 90% of the chairs. Overall the hotel was disappointing especially as a Diamond member, but at least the location was nice.

If you’ve been to a Hilton Conrad, this one ain’t it. The bar staff, housekeeping team, reception team were great (they even offered us a room upgrade), but the rooms and property are a bit outdated and not as luxurious as other Conrads. On top of that, the food at the restaurants in the Conrad is mediocre and it’s pricey for what you get. Also, it seemed that some of the restaurants and entertainment on the property are actually shared with another resort in the area. We much preferred a restaurant outside the resort. Because of all this, the price you pay for your stay here really does not add up. Depending on where your room is as well, you might need to trek uphill to get to it (Compared to the Hilton Tulum which shuttles you to and from different parts of the hotel when walking just isn’t in the cards for you if you’re carrying all your beach stuff or wearing heels.). The beaches were a plus for me - soft white sand and clear water with chair and towel service included, but keep in mind that the resort is not directly on the water and requires a 10 min walk or golf cart ride. This hotel claims to be luxurious, but we’ve certainly have stayed at more luxurious resorts and hotels where the price made more sense.

We didn't stay in a room at Conrad Chia (perhaps next time) though we were able to enjoy cocktails in Bollicine and dinner in Sa Mesa. The cocktails and atmosphere were fantastic. Superb negronis, sunsets and a gentle sea breeze. Greg in particular made us very welcome. One of us is celiac and the other is vegan. The team at Sa Mesa couldn't have been kinder in making us comfortable and taking our particular needs into account. The food and wine were exquisite and added even more sparkle to our experience. We definitely hope to be back in 2025. Grazie a tutti.

We stayed for 3 nights in May 2024 for our honeymoon. As a diamond member, we got upgraded to a suite with a view and large balcony which was spectacular. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Additionally, the beaches are fantastic and the hotel provides fast golf cart service to either location. We had comfy, shaded lounge chairs on the beach and you can order food and drinks easily. The only downside was the restaurant service at the resort was a bit slow / disorganized for dinner. However, it would not be a deal breaker and I would recommend staying here!

The hotel is beautiful. The staff is four seasons quality. Marta was superb and the best!!! Incredibly nice and attentive. The pool staff and cafe people at the pool were also top notch! If you need anything Marta is your gal. The only downside was the food. It is just really not good at all. Super blend food. Not much options. No salads.
