Conrad Indianapolis

"Just 20 minutes from the Indianapolis International Airport, and affixed to the Indianapolis Convention Center, this high-class crash pad is every businessperson’s dream—convenient for early morning meetings and late night flights—but it’s also embedded squarely in the city's downtown, near the trendy Wholesale District, and has no problem pulling double-duty for a long girls’ weekend (see: the in-house hair salon for last-minute gussying up) or a family trip. You might be stuck in a slog of meetings—but if you brought your brood along, direct them to the skywalk that connects the hotel to Circle Centre Mall for a way to pass the time. Rooms are clean and classic, but it's worth it to wrangle a suite, instead—the décor of each one riffs off a particular painting by the likes of Warhol or Dali, and features furnishings wrought from an impressive list of designers (Eero Saarinen, Jonathan Adler, and Philippe Starck, to name a few). The informal museum tour continues downstairs at the Long-Sharp Gallery, where works on paper by modern masters like Picasso, Haring, and Basquiat can be seen in the comfort of your PJs. You can’t go wrong with Capital Grille, wedged in the hotel’s lobby—nobody ever objected to a solid steak dinner—but it’s only an eight-minute cab ride to Bluebeard, where Bread is its own menu item—grilled and smothered in anchovy butter and garlic oil, the call-out is warranted—and killer platters of charcuterie and chicken liver pate are always at the ready."

Had a great two night stay here during the month of October. From the moment you walk in it is obvious that this is a five star hotel. The lobby isn't huge but it is very elegant and smells wonderful. The staff I encountered during my stay were very friendly and professional. The room was very clean and comfortable and had a lot of amenities. The bathroom was a good size with separate shower and tub. I loved the traditional elegant decor of the room which separates it from a lot of the modern luxury hotels that mostly look sterile and cold. The fitness center was large and had a lot of equipment to choose from. The lap pool was also very nice which was right next to the fitness center. The only issue I encountered was that the Lounge was closed in the afternoon even though the hours were posted that it would open at 4. As a diamond member, I had planned on using my daily dining credit towards dinner and drinks only to find out it was no longer open but opted for in-room dining instead which was pretty good. Overall I would highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a luxurious hotel in downtown Indianapolis.

What a really nice and classy hotel. Rooms were large and quiet. But to me, my wife and my son, the best part of the stay was Oscar. He was very accommodating, friendly and super helpful. He had my back many times just in the couple days we were there. When my son's heartburn got really bad, Oscar helped him. Thank you to the whole staff for a great job. But most importantly thank you Oscar.

This is one of those 5 star hotels just because they have a spa. I didn't go to the spa so I can't speak on this. Their security and front desk teams are excellent. Great location, but on the weekend it sounds like your at the drag races until 3am. Otherwise, below expectations for a 5 star and meets expectations for a hotel. I had a switch blade, cock ring, and lube in my safe from previous occupant (see photo). Security came up promptly and removed it in a plastic bag. They left the same felt though so decided it wouldn't wasnt worth it. not sure if there was a water problem the weekend I stayed, but couldn't get hot water and water pressure was poor from the weirdest shower head I have ever seen lol. Personally wouldn't stay here again, but maybe swiss cheese of stays and situational. Just find it hard to believe a 5 star hotel wouldn't be horrified with above. Valet was 75 dollars a night, which I found a little intense for Indianapolis

I recently stayed at the Conrad Indianapolis and was thoroughly impressed with the experience.||Check-In & Service:|Check-in was seamless, and the staff throughout my stay were consistently attentive and professional. Housekeeping responded promptly to my requests, even when I needed service a bit later in the day. Every interaction with the team—from the front desk to the valet—was warm and welcoming.||Room & Amenities:|The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, with a spring mattress and plush topper that provided excellent rest. The bathroom was modern and well-stocked, with soft towels and fragrant bath products. I especially enjoyed the Nespresso coffee maker, which felt like a thoughtful luxury touch.||Hotel Facilities:|The fitness center on the sixth floor is top-notch, stocked with bottled water and high-quality equipment. The hotel also features The Capital Grille, which I found to be outstanding. Both the food and service there were among the highlights of my trip.||Details & Considerations:|The only drawback for me was the office chair in the room, which did not adjust high enough for comfortable working at the desk. Valet parking, while efficient, is quite expensive at $75–80 per night and requires about fifteen minutes’ notice to retrieve your car.||Overall Impression:|The Conrad Indianapolis balances modern comfort with attentive service. It may not be the most cutting-edge in design, but it feels fresh, clean, and elegant. Between the superb staff, comfortable accommodations, and excellent on-site dining, I would gladly return.||Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars

The Conrad hotel has a beautiful interior and the rooms are nicely decorated. We were there for a wedding rehearsal and wedding. The valet service was exceptional. The Capital Grille, which is located inside the hotel, has wonderful food. Our menu consisted of everything from steak to seafood to chicken. All were tastefully prepared and with appealing presentation. We were located in a private room and the wait staff went above and beyond to ensure our party had a pleasant experience. The most appealing aspect of this hotel is that it is attached to the Indianapolis Artsgarden, which is a beautiful atrium style venue that overlooks part of downtown Indianapolis. It is a perfect setting for a wedding. Thoroughly enjoyed our two day visit to the Conrad. Check it out if you live, or plan on visiting, the Indianapolis area.

Thank you JP for such a great first impression! We loved the thoughtful touches from you and Jessie that made our night away feel extra special. Super convenient location too. A quick walk to see the Pacers play

My only complaint about this hotel is they don’t have dedicated parking, there is valet and garages nearby though. Besides that, the staff was great and welcoming, there is ample free, cold bottled water available and the hotel and rooms are clean and smell nice. The bathroom is well lit and has a standing shower and a bathtub, a make up mirror, great smelling bath products, mouthwash, q tips, and a nail file. The coffee is a nespreso machine and was very good for hotel room coffee. There’s a comfy robe, a tablet for the room, a couch and desk area, a floor length mirror, mini fridge - basically everything you’d want in your room. The hotel is very walkable to things downtown and I really liked the location, it’s a little loud with city noise but not terrible. I did not use the building amenities or try the restaurants, but loved my stay nonetheless.

The staff were all great and welcoming. Food was great at the attached restaurant. The temperature of the rooms cannot be changed no matter how you change the number on the thermostat. Very little to no air flow in the rooms. You'd think with how much one pays for a room they would invest in sound proofing a bit better. Even with staying on the 18th floor all the road noise from outside made the place sound like an NHRA track ALL NIGHT AND WELL INTO THE MORNING. We did not sleep at all. We will never be returning to this place.
