Loved my stay here. The doormen were awesome—super friendly, quick with my bags, and always spot-on getting taxis. The breakfast team made mornings easy: fresh food, fast service, and lots of smiles. Housekeeping kept my room spotless every day, with little touches that made it feel extra comfortable. Overall, just genuinely kind, helpful people across the board. They made the whole trip smoother and more enjoyable. Would definitely stay again.

This was my first time staying at this hotel as we usually stay at the Hilton Bosporus, which is currently under renovations. The pictures online do not so this hotel justice; it’s stunning in person. Beautiful lobby spiral staircase and marbled flooring, gorgeous restaurants and two of the things I always notice: artwork and scent . The hotel has a lovely collection of modern and traditional paintings on the lobby walls as well as the wonderful smell of Rebul Ateliers scent “Istanbul”. makes for a lovely feeling when inside. Nobody is better at hospitality than the Turks. They have mastered the service industry, which is such a key factor when staying at luxury hotels or restaurants. This hotel did not veer from that standard and in fact it’s evident they’re all trained in professional service and thank goodness, for me at least, they all speak English. Customer service with a smile and a quiet professionalism that I appreciate. We stayed in the Grand Bosporus Suite. It’s on the 14th floor with a view of the park below as well as the bridge and Bosphorus. It’s a corner unit with one bedroom and 1.5 bathrooms. A large room with a dining area and living room area. The living room has a huge Smart TV but the bedrooms Pop-up smaller TV is not smart. Thank goodness we had a laptop and were able to connect bedroom TV for netflix. the room is beautifully designed with a full marbled bathroom that has a built in TV inside the Mirror. cool feature! Hardwood floors and gorgeous views. complimentary snacks upon arrival as well. the grounds outside include a beautiful pool. Even more beautiful in person. Large and well kept as well. I would like to note that the executive lounge is very nice but lacking in food options. in between the meal options they only had 3 types of whole fruit, 3 types of cookies and two types of nuts. not much for someone coming in between meals. i think they could offer more items to suit a wider range of tastes.

We visited as a family in August 2008 and had an excellent stay. Check-in was smooth, staff were genuinely warm, and they went out of their way to accommodate us. Our room was quiet and comfortable, with housekeeping keeping everything spotless throughout. Breakfast was a highlight—plenty of choice and consistently good. The location worked perfectly for sightseeing: close enough to key spots and ferries without feeling hectic, and the concierge gave reliable, family-friendly tips and directions. What we liked - Attentive, professional service from everyone we met - Comfortable, quiet rooms—great for a family - Generous, tasty breakfast - Handy location for Bosphorus walks and major sights - Helpful concierge support for plans and transport Good to know - The area is a bit hilly; we mostly used taxis when tired. Overall, a memorable, hassle-free base for exploring Istanbul with kids. Would happily return.

Everything was amazing. I didn’t have time to try the spa, but I’m sure it’s great too. The staff were incredible — always super helpful. Most of the time I didn’t even have a moment to eat, but the waiters in the lobby café managed to find the quickest, easiest dish for me so I could still grab something. Thanks a lot for taking care.

We stayed here as part of the Turkish Airlines Stopover program as this was one of the available hotels. Checking in was easy. Everyone working here is extremely friendly. The room is nice and comfortable and extremely quiet at night. The toilet has a built in bidet which works really well. The views for breakfast are great and the food selection is excellent. We had dinner once at the Summit Bar and Terrace and the views are amazing. There is an x-ray machine at the front for bags and a metal detector, but that’s no big deal. The doorman was especially helpful, though. When we were leaving, we had pre-booked a ride to the airport. The doorman helped us by calling the car service, confirmed they were on their way, and asked for the license plate of the car to ensure we didn’t get in the wrong car (and thus scammed). Thank you! Overall, if we find ourselves in Istanbul, we will definitely stay here.

This hotel delivered exceptional service across the board—from the spotless rooms to the attentive staff and welcoming doormen. We hosted an event here and had the pleasure of working with Devrim, who provided outstanding, professional support throughout the entire planning process and even after the event concluded. Devrim consistently went above and beyond to meet our group’s needs with efficiency and care. Doormen Mehmet and Bülent were incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional, making everyone feel welcome from the moment they arrived. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul—it truly exceeded our expectations.

Google
amazing hotel! the service was spectacular! you would find someone coming to help you if you do something. and everything was super clean. they checked us in early since we arrived early which was very impressive and nice of them! everything you need from a hotel and more. really recommend to anyone looking for a stay in istanbul, also great location next to the ferries and bus station and surrounded by lively neighbourhood.

Google
An overpriced hotel for what it offers The cleanliness was not up to the level I expected, and overall the facilities felt outdated and worn. For a 5-star hotel, I anticipated high-quality amenities, but instead we were given basic shower gel, shampoo, and other products in large generic bottles, which felt far from premium. The women’s steam room had a strong smell of mold, making it impossible to use. This was very disappointing and certainly not what you expect from a wellness facility at a 5-star hotel. On a positive note, the outdoor pool offered a peaceful oasis — calm, relaxing, and beautifully maintained. Also, at a 5-star hotel, you expect to be properly informed. When asking about a specific area or attraction in the city, the staff should be able to tell you if that place is closed on that day — and why. That kind of attention to detail and proactive communication is what guests expect from a hotel of this standard. One positive aspect worth mentioning is that the bed and pillows were truly comfortable, allowing for a restful and refreshing sleep. All in all, despite a few highlights, this hotel felt very expensive for what it actually offers. The overall experience falls short of the 5-star standard you would expect at this price point.

Yelp
Fantastic hotel with gorgeous views of Istanbul and the Bosphorus Strait. We spent one night here before a cruise and booked through our cruise line. Hotel staff is very professional and helpful. The rooms are spacious, the bed is comfortable and there's space to work at a desk if you are on a business trip. Lots of natural lighting and there's space shower is also much nicer than other hotels I've stayed in. You are close to a busy area with lots of local and chain restaurants so plenty of dining options. Don't miss out on their breakfast- this is the best breakfast I've ever seen at a hotel with local Turkish options plus entrees from around the world.

Yelp
The place is nice and neat. Their breakfast buffet was great with lots of choices on dips and breads and pastries. They have small Asian section that has noodles and sort of fried rice.

Yelp
What a treat for an international destination! Nestled in the hillside of the Beştikaş district in Istanbul, this hotel is a beautiful, modern and relaxing retreat from the chaos of Istanbul. Overlooking the Bosphorus Strait, you get all the luxury of a five star hotel. Spa, complete gym, sauna, steam and Turkish bath are all clean modern and very well maintained. Guests are using this all day and it's well managed. A salon is nearby in case you want additional spa pampering. We stayed on two separate occasions and had an amazing experience. Our second stay we chose the executive king with a Bosphorus view and patio. Wow. This was amazing. We arrived to a complete spread in our room and all the added touches you expect in this level of suites experience. All the attention we could want or need and a very enjoyable view. The lounge is great and on par with our other international experiences. Happy hour daily which includes drinks and food. Snacks served during the hours after breakfast and evenings after dinner. There is an indoor and outdoor section and although smoking is permitted in the patio, it's an awesome experience. Our room was well appointed. Nothing left to chance and all well maintained. Lighting. Seating. Both bathrooms and bedrooms were exceptionally comfortable. Bathrooms had shower, wand, a waterfall and a sunken tub with another wand. Marble everywhere and every possible amenity available should you need something. Security at the entrance requires a screen and scan. Check in was fast and efficient and everyone spoke fluent English which was appreciated but not expected. Taksi are in abundance and they have an entire parking deck underground. They have a huge pool and spa and tennis courts area which was all being completely remodeled to reopen in May. New deck. Pool and added poolside bar etc. This area is a 30 minute walk to the street car into old town Istanbul. A 30 minute walk from the train station from the airport and near tons of food and beverage options. The hotel has several dining g options in sight with great views and top notch service. As always, the Conrad delivers.

Yelp
An amazing stay! A lovely hotel with fantastic service. It's a large place which can get busy, but with so many places to dine and enjoy inside, you never have to wait for long. We have a room with a view of The Bosphorous which was wonderful. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom perfect. The bath tub was a little smaller than what I am used to but it did the job! Everything was very clean. I used the spa which was expensive but worth it. I felt revitalized! The breakfast was phenomenal and probably the best I've had in Turkey on previous stays. The options were endless. Everything is great about this hotel. The only slight issue is the distance from the central area of Istanbul. It's not far in distance but can take up-to an hour with traffic. It's also not that easy to get a cab. So plan accordingly. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Overall the hotel is fairly nice and the staff friendly. Sizable room, we really enjoy the birds flying around and landing on the ledges. Not the best view but it was ok from the 6th floor. The place was clean and well secured. They have all the amnesties you would need. I would stay here again. Good onsite dining as well and fitness center. The place is a touch dated and would be nice if they had USB plug ins.

Yelp
Excellent customer service, emailed the hotel couple of times for questions few weeks prior to arrival and get prompt satisfaction response. There was issue on early morning 6am arrival and they are able to sort it out for immediate check in without extra charges. Every friendly staffs there make me feel welcome and warm. Amazing view of Bosphorus from 15th floor business lounge. They change the food there every 3 hours or so and it was very tasty. There are huge variety of food choice for morning buffer breakfast at 2nd floor with nice view, definitely one of the best breakfast. I will be back if I visit Istanbul again.

Yelp
This is a 5 star hotel with the best view of the Bosphorus. Although not all the rooms have it, but the must-see Summit bar has these views galore. Pros: All the nice features of a high-end hotel. Hotel is close to the new cruise terminal. The restaurant / bar food is truly excellent. Drawbacks: If you are coming as a tourist, note that the hotel is relatively far away from the main attractions. Worse, the truly disastrous traffic on the main artery (Beşiktaş Cd. / Dolmabahçe Cd.) can easily add 1 hour to the bus excursion or the airport transfer, the bus would be literally moving much slower than the pedestrians. Minor gripes: the water from the shower easily spills into the rest of the bathroom, the place with the best view in the Summit bar is open to smokers. Due to Covid restrictions, the breakfast is a quasi-buffet: the guest has to point to the dishes - coupled with sometimes weak English of the staff, this creates a hassle. Overall: an extremely good hotel away from the pressure of the touristy streets. Will definitely stay again, especially if visiting Turkey for business, The Summit bar is worth visiting even if you are not staying at the hotel.

Yelp
Big fan of this place. Not all rooms have the best views but the location is excellent, the staff extremely hard working, and the general standard of the facility and services is world class. The downstairs coffee shop is a bit overpriced by Turkish standards - but 100% worth it. Highly recommend it.

Sherri C.

Yelp
Still miss the shower in our room . Love the atmosphere and do love Turkish coffee breaks. Best sleep too

Yelp
We really love this hotel. We are in a suite with park view, perfectly peaceful, beautiful. The suite is very comfortable - great beds, marble bathroom with rain shower and dual sinks, gorgeous fixtures, all nice and new. Food is super good, both in the restaurant and the Summit Bar (fabulous Bosphorus view). Yep, we'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

Yelp
This hotel is beautiful. I started my tour of Turkey here and every other hotel paled in comparison. The service was exceptional. Every question I had was met with problem solving service. It was winter and the hotel engineer switched my heat to AC because I was always hot. I had a small issue with a salad and they gave me free wine and dessert. Rumor has it that this is where Obama stays. No wonder.

Yelp
We had a great time here and were greeted every morning by the smiling face of Gokce she'd teach us a few Turkish words every morning and we'd practice them with her the next day

Yelp
good location, good customer service, only down side was the room we got had a view of the back, not same one advertised, also bedding, only options are one king size or two twin beds, we had three ppl in the room, 2 ppl in twin bed was a bit tight

Yelp
Okay, this place is AWESOME! I came to Istanbul with a day's notice. My stay was less than 48 hours, and I was arriving at about midnight. Therefore, I didn't have much time to look for that perfect cute hotel off the beaten path with only a handful of rooms. I also couldn't afford to go to a place where checkin wouldn't be available late night. So I made a decision to go with something a little more "mainstream" and big. Enter Conrad hotel. My sister got some great deal, because they are under construction. Trust me, unless you plan on hanging out in the hotel all day, it was a non-issue. It starts around 9am, but wasn't too bad. Plus, we were ready to take on the city soon after. Overall, they were nothing but perfectly professional, kind and helpful with late checkin and late checkout, and all things Istanbul. It is 2 blocks from the Bosphorus, which is actually a blessing. We originally looked at some of the fancy hotels with restaurants along the water, but one day of walking along the river and I realized the amazing rooftop restaurant two blocks off the river was cooler and far less humid and way better. Check my photos out. The rooftop restaurant closes at 1:30am, and we pushed our luck and stayed as long as possible just hanging out and soaking in the views. The pool was amazing too! For those who are Hilton Honor members, they also have an executive lounge with free breakfast and evening happy hour.

Yelp
Well what can I say? Throughly impressed by the hotel and staff. When we came back to our room, there was champagne and chocolate waiting for us:) it's within walking distance of lots of things or a short cab ride;) The hotel staff is all about service, and I love that;) If you get a chance visit the bar on the 14th floor, you can see the entire city of Istanbul;) Added bonus....if you are a Diamond membber, they have an awesome lounge with breakfast light lunch and dinner/drinks included. What put me over the top.....they gave us a free electrical us to Europe converter saying don't worry yourself with trying to find one. I had left mine at home:/ Just a fabulous hotel! So charming and I am in love;)

Yelp
Extremely well kept and renovated Hilton property. Amazing views and staff highly courteous. All the amenities of a Conrad property. Perfectly located and easily accessible. Checking in as a Diamond member was excellent, and I was even greeted by the manager that was waiting for me at the ramp entrance. What a detail. Perfect English spoken.

Yelp
* Service * I've always viewed failures as a chance for companies to really show their stuff. If something bad happens and a company handles it well, it is a sign of a really well managed company many times. That was my experience here at the Conrad. The bad: Massive power failure had the hotel out for 24 hours. The good: They made very positive customer service gestures to compensate for it, and on top of comping the night, offering alternative accommodations, and many spoken apologies, they delivered a beautiful ceramic bowl filled with delicious fresh made Turkish Delights with a handwritten note apologizing once again. Granted, they likely should have better power generators as a back-up if the power system is not reliable, but they handled things with grace and charm that would certainly have me return in the future.
google avatar

Anthony C.

Yelp
As a business hotel this place checks most of the boxes you'd expect; decent internet, nice bar (great view), accommodating staff and fairly clear run to the airport/local restaurants.

Yelp
Stayed the first time in 2008. Snafu in reservations caused me to get what can only be described as the pimp-daddy suite with sweeping views of the Bosphorus. Impressive to say the least - I was later moved into a normal room which was Ok. The bar is very nice and boasts similar sweeping views. Service is very good.
google avatar

Burak S.

Yelp
Nice hotel in the center of the city. It has all the facilities, meeting rooms, bars, spa, pool, fitness, restaurants, concierge etc. The rooms are modern and most of them have Bosphorus view.

Yelp
This was my first trip to Istanbul and staying at the Conrad made my stay that much better. Given my Hilton Diamond status I was upgraded to a room on the top (15th) floor. The Pro's: Amazing views, especially from the concierge lounge and balcony. The room was very nice. Very clean and luxurious. I had a great city view. The concierge and concierge lounge both provided great service. Adequate breakfast, snacks drinks and dessert in the lounge. Pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. The Con's: I had to ask twice before getting the heat repaired and functioning in my room. The only restaurant currently open in the hotel is the Summit Grille Lounge. The second night I dined there I was offered a less than preferred table in the half empty restaurant. When I requested to sit at one of the tables at the window, I was told it was reserved yet no one was seated in those tables for the duration of my visit that night. If I return to Istanbul, I will definitely be booking my stay at the Conrad again.

Yelp
My wife and I stayed at the Conrad Hotel Istanbul for three nights in July 2013. In terms of location, service, room quality, food quality, and overall satisfaction, each night was better than the previous one. If you're traveling to Istanbul for business or pleasure, you absolutely must consider the Conrad. As a Hilton Honors Gold member, I was upgraded to a suite on the Executive Floor with access to the wonderful Executive Lounge. The views from the lounge's 15th floor roof deck were magnificent, and the lounge was well-stocked throughout the day with juices, coffee, finger foods, and wine and beer in the evening. Sitting on the deck, sipping a chilled glass of surprisingly good Turkish white wine whilst listening to the evening Call for Prayers was one of the highlights of our stay at the Conrad. In terms of customer service, the Conrad staff went out of their way to meet our requests. Extra pillows? Delivered in ten minutes. Forgot your toothpaste? Tube on the way, madam. Access to the gym? The cardio center is open 24 hours for our guests. Coffee refill at breakfast? Done. Superlative service differentiates the Conrad from most hotels I've stayed at internationally (and that's a very long list). To wit: I accidentally left a Thomas Pink shirt hanging in the closet at the Conrad. I discovered the loss two days after we checked out en route to Gallipoli and Cannakkale. When we returned to the hotel a week later, I inquired--forlornly--about the shirt. Lo and behold, a smiling staff member delivered the shirt to my room--laundered and pressed--within an hour. Congrats, Conrad Hotel Istanbul, for getting service right. Your compatriots in America could learn a lesson or two from your attentiveness, friendliness, and value.

Yelp
We spent a night at the Conrad Bosphorus and that blew us away. From the helpfulness of the staff, existent concierge, tons of info for tours, etc. for visitors, pools, spa, lounges, etc.!! I wish Sirkeci had some of these amenities. I would like to give my highest thanks and compliment to the wonderful Mr. Engin who did everything and beyond to calm us after a stressful airport situation. He was nothing but the picture perfect definition of a kind compassionate human being while being extremely professional. He is by far the epitome of how anyone would dream a manager to be like and more. Also thanks to the kind Mr. Ceyhan!! I can't say enough about how welcome they made our family feel and my kids who had barely slept and were so stressed felt like new again after our lovely in room breakfast, a dip in the pool, and teddy bears! They did not want to leave!! The hotel has gorgeous views, is so clean, has great amenities, etc. Literally no faults here!!

Yelp
Conrad has a water view but be prepared to pay a lot more. Oh. And the biggest surprise they neglect to mention is that there is construction going on ... It starts at 9am and goes all day long. It's lovely to wake up to hammer banging every day. I asked for a quiet room but there doesn't seem to be one available. Customer service is average. There are so many better places to stay than here in beautiful Istanbul.

Yelp
Great view from the men's restroom in the restaurant ... Top notch service

Yelp
The Conrad is a beautiful luxury hotel located in Istanbul. The 5 stars are throughly deserved. My girlfriend and I stayed 2 nights for a wedding. Room was big and luxurious and of the high standard you would expect of such a hotel. Bathroom is nice with a stand up rain shower. The hotel has a cosy bar on the 14 floor and a good restaurant. Unfortunately we were unable to use the spa and health club as under renovation. Overall would recommend this hotel

Yelp
Lovely but very Western with lots of US tourists. (President Obama has stayed here.) Full buffet breakfast and lovely views. An easy way to ease into your Istanbul vacation before heading into less familiar, less Western sites in Turkey.

Yelp
I rarely have time to write reviews but for this occasion, I feel compelled to do as such. My job requires constant travel and I stay in hotels all over the globe at least 250 nights average per year. Am a Diamond member in Hilton Group and a Premier Elite in SPG/Marriott group. I have yet to stay at a better managed hotel than Conrad Istanbul Bosphorus. Simply put this hotel is being run as if a precious Vacheron Constantin watch! Staff is all smiles and full of genuine courtesy. Rooms impeccably clean kept. Check in is effortless. Each and every employee go out of their way to assist in any way they can. Fantabulous views, outstanding Executive Lounge, superb spa, and a lot more positives. We, my wife & baby daughter, stayed for 15 joyful, beautiful nights and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. Our baby daughter celebrated her birthday in the hotel and the management was most kind and thoughtful enough to shower her with beautiful gifts, balloons and a delicious birthday cake! Istanbul is a gem of a mystical city and so was this particular hotel. Didn't want to return home to Chicago but grudgingly did so. Will most definitely visit back again for another occasion and stay at Conrad Bosphorus again. We were so much content with our stay that, both I and my wife sent memo's to our colleagues per the niceties and overall excellent qualities of this rare gem of a hotel. Thank you ALL at Conrad Bosphorus for making our vacay sensational. Until next time...

Trina B.

Yelp
The bar on the 14th floor has spectacular views on b the evening. However, if you are expecting service after the first drink then look for someplace else. They are very attentive to deliver your first non alcoholic or otherwise... there does not need to be more than three tables and they get overwhelmed. Expensive too! Drinks closer to the water are 1/3 the cost. My two cents.... take your pics and run.

Anth R.

Yelp
What an amazing hotel. They have recently renovated the hotel, gym is still a work in progress but don't let that stop you as the have a workout area setup. The staff are amazing and they anticipate every need and very very helpful. The location is great. You are near to everything about a mile walk to historic sites but far enough to not be over run by tour groups. The bar on the 14th floor is a must! There are many trendy bars and modern foodie hangouts near by but also a good selection of local food, mezze and raki :) a traditional tapas style dining experience.

Yelp
The Conrad is a beautiful hotel which boasts lovely views from the rooms. The rooms are well appointed and luxurious. There is a very nice executive lounge for those with status. The problem with the hotel is the customer service. It is non-existant in the executive lounge where the food is sub-par, plates and glasses are never restocked and waiters look at you like they want to kill you if you ask for a wine glass (because there haven't been any in an hour). The service was not any better in the restaurant when we had dinner. Our waiter never came back after the delivery of our food (which included dips for which there was one triangle of pita bread). We had to go inside and track him down to get the check (which he still didn't bring until we spoke to a manager). Just not really the kind of service you expect from this level of hotel. There are so many other lovely hotels that are better located.
