Conrad Koh Samui

Our arrival started on a less-than-ideal note with the airport pickup, which fell short of Conrad’s usually high standards. The driver was not in the right place, didn’t seem to know we were coming, and had to double-check our booking. There was no assistance with luggage, the vehicle was parked far from where others were picked up, and there were no basic amenities like water or Wi-Fi. The air conditioning wasn’t working, and music was played without asking — not quite the welcome we expected from the brand.||However, the situation was handled well once we arrived. Duty Manager Brent was quick to apologise, personally assured us the return transfer would be handled in-house (not outsourced), and waived the charges for both airport journeys. From that point on, the service lived up to the Conrad name.||We stayed in a stunning two-bedroom panoramic villa with breathtaking views. On arrival, we were touched by the beautifully decorated bed to celebrate our wedding anniversary, complete with two small bears as keepsakes. Our housekeeping team was cheerful and attentive, leaving a friendly note on the first day and providing excellent turndown service, complete with local sweets at the foot of the bed. Despite the size of the resort, buggy pickups were prompt, and any request — from cleaning a spill to delivering extra towels — was handled quickly.||Breakfast was a highlight. The staff greeted us by name each morning, our table for five was always prepared in advance, and gluten-free options were thoughtfully provided. Daniel, one of the managers, stood out for his attentiveness. Dear at the main reception was excellent at check-in and check-out, explaining everything clearly. At Ko Bar, Pal My’s warm smile and great drinks made every visit enjoyable.||We did have a small issue with dinner seating at Aow one evening, but Neen and Ying resolved it immediately and with a smile. Our in-villa BBQ for our anniversary was a real treat — top-class service, perfectly cooked food, and plenty of it.||The personal touch from GM Marco, who came to chat with us at breakfast on our last day, was a wonderful way to round off the stay.||Overall, despite the rocky start, Conrad Koh Samui won us over with its exceptional staff, beautiful villa, and thoughtful touches throughout. We left with wonderful memories and would happily return.

I have traveled the world and spent over 3,000 nights in hotel rooms. Marco and the entire team were the best ever, and the property is also amazing. Hey Hilton, GM of the Year?!||The property, the food, the views, the farm, and especially, the people, exceeded any expectations. The staff was always hustling to make our visit just a little better than perfect.||The breakfast spread was phenomenal. It was diverse and delicious. All of the other food we ordered was equally tasty.||It was such a good visit that we added two extra days. ||One suggestion is that the private pool tiles in our room are too blue, whenever the pool gets resurfaced, it should be turquoise like the water around the five islands in the background (yes, it was that perfect that the shade of our private pool tile was our one “issue”)||Thank you to the entire team!

AMAZING. Second time here. As my husband is a Hilton Gold member we got upgraded couple of levels up to the Infinity pool villa. Awesome! The lobby & breakfast restaurant were just beautifully renovated. Breakfast was sublime. I dare say 1 of the top 3 breakfasts I ever experienced. The banana cake was sooo good. All the staff were so friendly & always had a smile. The receptionists remembered our names. As we were staying here twice in this current trip (we were trying out different hotels) they kept our villa upgrade & we had the Infinity Villa again. Sunset was breathtaking. Staying in a quiet & secluded spot in the island is seriously therapeutic. I cannot wait to be back here again :’)

Excellent, sublime service, the staff always attentive and anticipating our needs. The hotel facilities are unbeatable. Our villa had three bedrooms where we were able to enjoy the sunset. The restaurant service was excellent. All the food was delicious! Thank you to Marco and his entire team for all the thoughtful attention they gave us. We can't wait to return!

We spent two glorious nights here on our 20th wedding anniversary and the property exceeded all expectations. We were upgraded to a higher tier of villa and view was just magnificent. The staff were incredibly gracious at all times, and ensured that our anniversary was memorable at every juncture. ||We encountered one slight misunderstanding, but the way the staff handled it went above and beyond, and actually further elevated our stay. In particular we were taken especially good care of by the spa manager and the gentleman managing beach activities who took some special time to give us an introduction to tai chi.||Due to the isolated location, it is a good idea to expect that almost all of your dining will be on-site. The breakfast was excellent, as was the Thai dinner. We also dined at the steakhouse, which I would rate as average-to-good, but I am spoiled since we live in Japan.||Last thing I will note is that you will never have issues with your room not being serviced. This was done seamlessly whenever we were somewhere else on the property. My only regret is not leaving a bigger tip for the room attendants, and this means I will have to visit again.

Absolutely stunning resort! The villas are spacious, private, and come with incredible infinity pools overlooking the ocean. The staff is warm, attentive, and always goes above and beyond. Perfect for relaxation, romance, and unforgettable sunsets. Can’t wait to come back!

My family and I stayed at this beautiful resort for about a week and absolutely loved it. The room was amazing, with a private pool overlooking the water and the Five Islands. It was very clean, and housekeeping would leave the sweetest handwritten notes every day. Even the turn-down service was superb, often with more notes and little snacks. The bed was incredibly plush and soft—we slept and dreamed so peacefully every night. The only thing we noticed was the occasional appearance of Yellow Crazy Ants in the room. There weren’t many, but enough to wonder why they came in since the villa was spotless. The resort amenities were also wonderful. The main pool was lovely and warmer than our private pool, though still very swimmable. The beach, however, was small and quite rocky, so not ideal for swimming. We had a lot of fun with the activities—jet skiing (twice!) and kayaking during high tide were highlights. We were told we could jet ski to the Five Islands and circle around, but we were too nervous about the waves, though it was fun to watch others do it. On Wednesday and Friday nights, the Fire Show is a must-see! I recommend arriving early because seating is limited. Front row is exciting but can feel a little too close when the fire jumps your way! The Turtle Club is also a fun alternative for the kids especially on the hot days. [Shout-out to Oil for being so kind]. Food-wise, there are three restaurants, though for us it was mostly two since Jahn felt too intimate and fine-dining for the kids. We alternated between Aow Thai and Azure [Shout-out to Gift, AE, and YD!], which were nice, but it would have been great if the menus changed occasionally so we weren’t seeing the same options each night. Breakfast at Aow Thai [Shout-out to Taey, Minnie, and Marco!], however, was fantastic—we made a point to wake up before it ended at 10:30 a.m. Getting around the resort requires calling for a buggy, and the wait was usually about 5–10 minutes depending on the time of day. We also visited the lobby a few times to book excursions, and the concierge staff [Shout-out to Dear and Nan!] were incredibly friendly and helpful. In fact, all the staff we interacted with were warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. One thing to note: this resort is very remote. It even has a guarded entrance, and it’s a long drive to reach any businesses—about an hour from the airport. Unless you plan outside excursions, you’ll mostly be on the property. Overall, this resort is stunning, relaxing, and memorable, and we would absolutely stay here again in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel in Koh Samui! My husband and I were amazed by our spotless room with a breathtaking view, and the scenery from every corner of the hotel is simply stunning. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Perfect for anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing getaway!
