Conrad Koh Samui

We spent part of our honeymoon at Conrad Koh Samui and it felt like the ideal place for it. The privacy and the views from the villa were stunning and made it very easy to just switch off and stay in the resort the whole time. The sunsets from the private villas were incredible every evening. The Location is on the south of the island away from the hustle and bustle so it's perfect if that's what you're looking for - which we were. We spent all 5 days at the resort. The breakfast was a highlight for me and we basically stayed at 10 different hilton properties in about a month, and by far Conrad Koh Samui had the best. I quite enjoyed the coffee shop as well — it was perfect for a midday snack and they made genuinely good coffee. The staff were exceptional throughout the stay and always incredibly helpful and friendly. As a Hilton Diamond member it would have been nice to receive a room upgrade or similar recognition (though I understand the resort may have been fully booked), but overall the service quality more than made up for it. The activities offered were also good, however many were already booked out in advance so it’s definitely worth checking the schedule and reserving early. We did the white lotus tour which took us around Koh Samui and we thought the guide was quite knowledgeable. We also had an amazing steak at Jahn restaurant which was a standout dining experience. Overall a very memorable stay and easily one of our favourite Hilton properties.

The most magical experience for us! We eloped at Conrad and stayed for 7 nights. It was the most luxurious place we have stayed in and everything about the resort exceeded our expectations. The staff were absolutely phenomenal - so attentive and gracious - all levels of staff! The rooms were gorgeous, the resort as a whole was just stunningl. We knew when booking that the location wasn’t “close” to much so that wasn’t such an issue - we just hired a car. The only criticism we have is the room service options……both in terms of operating hours and options. Pricey food options within the hotel but lovely none the less. The BEST buffet breakfast we have ever experienced. We will visit again in our lifetime!

We had an amazing stay at Conrad Koh Samui. From the second we arrived, everything just felt right. The villas are on another level — total privacy, insane ocean views, and sunsets that honestly don’t look real. Sitting in the infinity pool watching the sun go down was one of the highlights of our entire trip. What really made the difference was the service. The staff were warm, genuine, and always happy to help without ever feeling over the top. You can tell they truly care about the experience they create. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options, and every meal we had was high quality. The whole property is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and perfect if you want to disconnect and relax. We’ve stayed at quite a few luxury resorts, and this one stands out. Would absolutely come back.

We stayed here 4 nights for our honeymoon. The resort was absolutely beautiful, secluded and perfect for a honeymoon. I will say the location seems to be on the quieter side of the island, farther (45-60 minutes) from Fisherman’s Village and other attractions but that being said there is still some very cute areas to explore near the resort! As New Yorkers, my husband and I are used to being able to walk everywhere and here it’s hard to do that, the resort is pretty much up a big hill/cliff but you can call a cheap Grab easily. The breakfast is 10000/10, lunch and dinner options are ok but a little expensive for what you’re getting compared to the local restaurants. All that being said I would definitely stay here again and recommend fellow honeymooners to stay here! A few nights at this resort in the more secluded area followed by a few nights in the busier section of the island would be perfect. The room accommodations are worth every penny, the infinity pool, bed, huge bath tub and bathroom are all stunning. The main pool is also super relaxed and beautiful. Plenty of areas to lay around and lounge in the sun, very peaceful. And last but certainly not least, the staff is very kind and helpful here. The attention to detail the staff takes here should be highly praised!

We recently stayed at the Conrad Koh Samui and came away with mixed feelings. The setting is undeniably beautiful — the villas are stunning, the private infinity pools and panoramic ocean views are incredible, and the food across the property was consistently delicious. The staff were generally polite and kind, and you could tell they were trying. However, there were several issues that impacted our stay. Because the resort is built into a steep hillside, you have to rely on buggies to get around the property, and during peak times — especially after dinner — the waits were often quite long. We also purchased an expensive romantic beachfront dinner expecting privacy, but unfortunately our wait staff stayed and talked at us for much of the meal, which made it feel less intimate than intended and especially frustrating considering we were there to celebrate our honeymoon. In addition, a lightning strike caused a half-day power outage (understandably beyond the hotel’s control), but it was followed by a sewage issue that led to flooding inside our villa. We also dealt with an ant problem and repeated delays with Grab deliveries reaching the property. To their credit, the hotel did make efforts to address and compensate for the problems, which we appreciated. It’s a truly gorgeous property with great food and well-meaning staff, but the operational challenges made the overall experience feel less seamless than we expected at this price point.

Away from the stress and noise of Kho Samui. the Conrad Hilton offers fantastic views on the 5 islands and ,thanks to an incredible engineering feast, villas with pools that literally hang on a steep and quiet cliff South West of the island. If you want peace, you can get it there while savoring your daily sunset from your wide terrace. The only traffic in the resort is that of small electro buggies smoothly mastering the narrow and at times very steep paths leading to the villas and the restaurants. Marco Araujo, the Portuguese General Manager and his team make you immediately at home and respond quickly to all your needs. The quality of our infinity pool villa was impeccable and the service was first class. A nice touch from the room team: Every day we received a bath towel on our large bed expertly folded in the form of a cute animal with a good day greeting. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners were faultless in each of the 3 restaurants. The restaurant personnel was very professional and extremely attentive without being obtrusive. Within 2 days everybody there knew our favorite dishes and culinary preferences. You can feel the professional training of all, from the buggy drivers to the gardeners, the waiters, the maids and the reception team. And this training is even further reinforced with the natural softness and kindness of the Thai people leading to a very cozy and comfortable atmosphere overall.

Truly a paradise on earth! The views of the Five Islands are breathtaking, but the legendary service is what will bring us back. A massive thank you to Khun Nina and Khun Fay. They went above and beyond to assist with our room arrangements and prepared wonderful surprises for my birthday and my 2-year-old son. The level of care we received was unmatched. The warmth here starts from the top, it was impressive to see Mr. Marco, personally greeting guests at breakfast. The smiles from every staff member are genuine and heartwarming. If you are looking for the perfect getaway, look no further. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Conrad Koh Samui was nothing short of extraordinary, and it’s easily one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel truly special. Special recognition also goes to Thip, Rut, and Sanah, whose outstanding service, kindness, and professionalism made our stay even more memorable. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and every interaction came with genuine warmth and care. Our room was absolutely incredible — beautifully designed, immaculately presented, and offering breathtaking views that we’ll be dreaming about for a long time. It felt like our own private slice of paradise. Breakfast deserves its own standing ovation. Quite simply, it was probably the best we’ve ever had anywhere in the world — an amazing variety, exceptional quality, and thoughtful touches that made every morning a highlight. We also loved the farm visit and coffee-making experience. These were such unique, personal additions to our stay and gave us a deeper appreciation for the resort’s commitment to sustainability and craftsmanship. Every detail, every smile, and every experience combined to create something truly special. We left feeling relaxed, spoiled, and already planning our return. We cannot wait to come back in the future — thank you to Marco and the entire team for creating such a magical stay
