We had such a great experience at this resort. It’s great location is hard to beat. Also tough to beat are the owners, Lawrence and Ria, who made our stay very special. They care about their guests and are always available to help you out with whatever you may need. The oceanfront deluxe rooms are amazing! You are literally right on the ocean! The included breakfast was amazing. My husband and I definitely will be back.

Conrado is quite old-fashioned, and could possibly do with some cosmetic refurbishment, but that would risk changing its character. The number of repeat customers who stay here year after year underlines its quality. We had a delightful, basically furnished room with a fridge and huge balcony right next to the waves. The room was very clean, efficiently air-conditioned and comes with free WiFi.||As well as the delightful Paradise Grill almost next door, the hotel is within easy walking distance of all the restaurants in Crown Point. ||The beach is quite narrow but the sea is clean and lovely, if a bit shallow at low tide. However, a short walk through the beautiful heritage park takes you to the wonderful beach at Pigeon Point, or in the other direction to Store Bay.||Lawrence made us feel very much at home. Breakfasts were excellent and enjoyed once again right next to the sea where you could watch the fishermen sorting out their nets.

My friend and I stayed here for 3 phenomenal days. We had the ocean view room which is perfect for watching the pelicans diving for fish. The room is very clean and inviting while the beds just becon you to come and relax. Conrado is the place to go for a quiet, relaxing vacation. It is within walking distance to Store Bay and the many restaurants and shopping center. The waitress who serves breakfast is friendly and helpful. Lawrence is a gem. He will do anything to make your stay memorable. We would definitely return soon as here you get value for your money.

This was our third stay (11 nights) at the Conrado Beach hotel because we love it because of -||The location - on the beach. Walking distance to Crown Point and Store Bay and also to the beautiful Pigeon Point beach and park. ||And the people - who couldn't be more friendly and helpful.||We stay in one of the sea facing rooms with an enormous balcony. The room has everything you need, including a fridge, air con, fan, etc. and the bathroom has a lovely big shower which always has hot water. The room is serviced every day and you can get beach towels from reception whenever you need to. ||We spend loads of time on the balcony, watching the incredible sunsets, the pelicans and terns diving for fish and then resting on the local fishermen's boats. The seagulls and other birds resting or squabbling over food and occasionally the frigate birds swooping down and the sting rays coming into the lagoon. It's just fantastic. The only other place as good is the dining terrace where we have breakfast, dinner and drinks or sometimes just hang around if the tide is high. The sea literally comes underneath it occasionally. ||You can get a local breakfast or an "English / American" breakfast so there is plenty of choice and it comes with fruit, juice, toast and jam, and unlimited coffee / tea / chocolate. At lunch time or evening, there is plenty of choice again and the fish is always fresh, the rum is good and the entertainment from the sea and shore guaranteed.||Lawrence runs the hotel and his brother Antonio runs the bar and restaurant and they are just great - always ready to give advice about Tobago and to help you out. ||For example, Lawrence bought a new electric kettle for us so we could have a brew in our room. (All the others were out as he had s few British guests in at the time.) Even better, I had left some English cash in his safe by mistake and he has arranged for it to be returned to me in the UK.||One evening, we didn't realise the cook had a night off and we wanted something to eat after a long day out. Antonio, personally ran us down to town to get a take away and then let us eat in the dining area with drinks from the bar.||The beach and sea outside the hotel are good for a quick swim or a sit on the bench to watch the birds or read a book, but if we want to spend a day on a beach bed swimming and sunbathing we tend to go to Pigeon Point - you can walk there along the beach - or for a change go to Store Bay. There is a lovely fish restaurant virtually next door - with the best lobster - as well as plenty of restaurants and shops in Crown Point for a change.||This isn't a swanky 5* hotel with swimming pools, beach facilities, etc. It's a great place to stay with lovely people in a fabulous location.

Upon arrival from the airport, we were surprised how close the hotel was- literally 5 minutes in the taxi the hotel had sent for us. (But no aircraft noise even when the rare big jets arrive) We arrived around 6pm on a Sunday and were greeted by a teenage girl on reception. A typical Carribean check-in. Friendly in a laid back manner, bit of confusion over whether we'd paid, slight issue with card machine etc. ||We'd booked a superior sea view room for 2 nights at $145US and we were shown to a room on the 1st floor. It was an ok size, brightly painted in pastel colours with patio doors opening to a double balcony overlooking a small beach. The balcony had two sections- an upper one with chairs and tables and a lower one with sun loungers and was receiving the late afternoon sun as we arrived. The room had a TV, microwave and fridge and also seemed to have fitted furniture- a large wardrobe and dressing table. These seemed quite old and were slightly worn. The bathroom was ok- decent size, clean but again a little worn. The bed was firm and comfy and the room had a/c which we didn't use- preferring the ceiling fan and open patio windows. The waves are very noisy on the beach and we enjoyed going to sleep listening to them lapping on the shore. Expect a dawn chorus though from the resident sea birds who live on the beach!||The hotel's big advantage is its location- 5-10 mins walk from the bars and restaurants of crown point and the same distance to the beaches of Pigeon Point. It also has its own beach with a local feel, set alongside fishermens huts and was nice for swimming beyond a small shingle line. One morning we saw 3 large stingrays swimming yards from the shoreline.||Breakfast was included in the room rate and was generally ok if a little 'hit and miss'. The choice and quality were ok, with service friendly if a little absent minded on occasion. One strange aspect was the 'serve yourself' coffee from a communal Nescafé jar with shared spoon which didn't seem particularly hygienic after being dipped in various guests' cups.||The owner, Lawrence, is a friendly, jovial chap and is usually on hand to chat to guests and provide advice. The rest of the staff were friendly enough though the cleaners were a little over enthusiastic and woke us around 8am both mornings we were there.||In summary, Conrado is a nice beach option- a little faded at the edges and quite expensive for the quality of rooms etc- it's not a 5 star 'resort', it has the feel of a smaller family hotel. However if you want to stay right on the beach, away from a package type experience, it's a good option in Crown Point.I guess the 'acid test' of how satisfied we were is that we chose to book another night and return for our last night in Tobago!

My wife and I visited Tobago for a week this past December 12 - 18. Conrado Beach Resort was a great place to stay for our first 4 nights on Tobago. It's location is very convenient as it is 1) a short trip from the airport, 2) right on the edge of the sea with a nice sandy beach and lovely views, 3) within walking distance to the highly rated Pigeon Point beach, 4) close to the colorful Bago's Beach Bar, and 5) only a moderate distance from the shops, restaurants, bank, etc. in the festive town of Crown Point. Lawrence and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. Sally serves a very good selection of breakfasts with a delicious coffee bar. Breakfast is served on a deck overlooking the sand and sea. The room we had was spacious and comfortable. The large two tiered private deck outside our sliding glass doors was a great surprise with comfortable outdoor furniture and beautiful views. The pelicans diving for their prey were truly entertaining! One excellent feature for swimmers is the outdoor shower stall just a couple steps from the beach. The sea off of Conrado's beach offers some snorkeling opportunities and the water is clear and fairly calm. The sandy bottom is sparkling white. There are pockets of coral with beautiful reef fish. Although the northern end of Tobago has many more beautiful reefs, the area near Conrado is famous for the crystal clear waters of Pigeon Point and the Nylon Pool. These are easily accessible. We enjoyed a great trip on the Frank T Glass Bottom Boat which picked us up along the beach maybe a 100 yards from the Conrado Beach Resort. The staff is very helpful with info for planning outings like this. All in all, we loved our stay!

Affordable short stay accommodation. Good location on beach front but not good bathing. Walk to Pigeon Point Heritage Park. Close to convenient store and nearby shopping and restaurants. On site well stocked bar. Nice sea views and sunset view. Rooms are not the most modern or especially good housekeeping but decent.

This is a small boutique hotel on beach just on the cusp of pigeon point. The food is always delicious and rooms are clean, comfortable and affordable. If you want dinner you have to order in advance. Always a relaxing time when I stay here. Pigeon point is about 20 minutes walking distance and about the same time in the opposite direction will take you to the town where there are bars, restaurants and sports activities (bike rentals, diving etc).
