Constance Tekoma Rodrigues

We stayed here for 5 nights at the end of October. Wow, what an amazing location and hotel. From arrival all the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. The accommodation is individual lodges all with amazing sea views. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the outside shower was a lovely extra. There are tea/coffee facilities in the room and bottled water is provided. There are also plug sockets for UK and European plugs! The location of the hotel is just stunning and the walks from the hotel along the rugged coastline to some beautiful beaches are just amazing. The breakfast buffet had loads of choice and the cooked breakfast is made to order (sometimes the portions were on the small size, but we just asked for a little more and the staff were great to accommodate our request). The evening meals were all very delicious and really enjoyed tasting lots of the local dishes. Would like to compliment all the staff who we found were all so friendly and always smiling. We particularly enjoyed the cocktail party and appreciated meeting the hotel manager (who we saw everyday around the hotel chatting to guests and staff!). The hotel also arranged for us to have a taxi for the day which took us to the tortoise sanctuary and around the island to various locations which we really enjoyed. This was our first visit to Mauritius and Rodrigues and can’t wait to return to Rodrigues as it was all just so beautiful. We will definitely be returning to this hotel again, and would highly recommend it to everyone thinking of visiting Rodrigues

Costance Tekoma is a complex with about 30 cabins on a hillside overlooking a white sandy beach at the eastern end of Rodrigues Island.|The cabins are large and well equipped. There is a shaded veranda with a sofa overlooking the sea.|The holiday was to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary and the hotel made it really memorable. The room was decorated when we arrived and a cake was provided. The manager greeted us every day and did everything to make us welcome.|The cocktails at the pool bar were fantastic. There were on loungers or umberellas at the pool but there were loungers looking over the beach.|Food in the restaurant was good majority buffet style but eggs at breakfast and main courses at dinner cooked to order. The waffles at breakfast were fantastic.|The food had a local Rodrigues flair.|One thing to consider if visiting Rodrigues after a few days in Mauritius is the standard checked baggage allowance is only 15kg with excess charge 200 Rs per kg.

Hello all, went there on December this year from 13 to 17th. Room 25|1st, arriving there at the reception, we ask the receptionist about 30 minutes complementary massage that we had on our voucher, she told us she will revert back to us and she never did.||2nd, 4 lights were faulty in our rooms during our stay, i had to report it to Mr Dario the HD then they fixed only 2.||3rd, we asked the waitress to explain us about the menu to which she said she doesn't know and shall call someone else for that.||4th, when Dario is there at night the service is different and when he's not there, it's a chaos.||5th, we saw 1 waitress opening 1 drawer in the restaurant with her feet with her shoes on her.||6th, the wine seller never approached us and not even said hello. She was kinda interested with white people only, priorities for tourist.||7th, some staff are cool while some are rude. Theu don't even reply to a good morning.||8th, Room was good, cleanliness was ok without towel decorations.

Had an amazing time here. Beautiful place, room, and service. Though the breakfast and lunch could be more attentive. Lunch the first day took forever, and the lobster was overcooked when it came, but still good, and they forgot my tea for breakfast, had to ask them twice. But these are just details, and they don't ruin anything. I had the pool for myself, and the place wasn't crowded, though they were mostly full. The weather wasn't so good but could still enjoy the sea. The outdoor tub was my favourite thing in the room. It's super sad they're planning to remove it. It's one of the best features of the place. The views are amazing, and I loved the quiet. It reset my biological clock, and I slept super well. The spa's massage too went great. Will be back.

A great place to enjoy Rodrigues at its best! Beautifully located with stunning views and the setting is peaceful and scenic. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always happy to help. Special thanks to Dario, Christine and Mary!

Great Experience.|My first stay on the island, was never left disappointed by the accommodation and the activities. Greeted with smiles everywhere, the view from the room was breathtaking, regular cleaning, housekeeping is on point. | The food at the Hotel was very good, varied, and the staff always welcoming. |Will definitely be back at the same location in the future.

Location : absolutely TOP!||Atmosphere: warm & pleasant||Rooms : nice and spacious (we were in Villa # 19) but we have some small and constructive suggestions , which we would regard as essential ), to improve the villa's amenities and appliances:|- Change the hair-dryer, which is getting quite old|- In the "top" villas, like Villa # 19, installing a small coffee machine in the room would be, in my view, a must...|- The TV user-friendliness leaves a lot to be desired. It is fer too complex !|- Change the pillows , which are also getting softish and very uncomfortable, as well as the bedding.|- The villas require more preventative maintenance . During our short stay, we had (1) a leak under one of the wash-basins, which two separate maintenance interventions to be sorted out , (2) low flushing pressure in our toilet, on our arrival and (3) an inexplicable water supply-interruption from 23:30 to 4:00|- We did not have any emerchecy contact number for the Reception after 23:00 at night.|- Value would be fully justifies with the implementation of the above-referred strongly recommended small improvements of the villas amenities and appliances|- Cleanliness: impeccable|- Noise level: no problem whatsoever : a very calm hotel !|- Service: we noted a substantial improvement in service-levels across the board, and especially in the Restaurant and Bar area., compared to our previous stays at the Tekoma Boutik Hotel ownership. Well done to the Constance shareholder !

What can we say? Back for the 4th time with the family and definitely looking back to return soon. This is the best hotel you can stay at on the whole island, the level is really outstanding, the friendliness and service of the staff is really outstanding of this world. Our stay coincided with the president of the republic of Mauritius’ stay who was there for a few days and I can tell you even a vip was in the hotel the attention and the service did not diminish towards the other guest. Mr Dario, Mr Giovanni, and chef Ah Youn even hosted our family for the a private cocktail and honored us as part of the Tekoma Family. ||Once more I want to thank all of the staff and it was good to see them again. ||||Hopefully we shall be back very soon. ||||The Sungkur family.
