Continental Hotel

A beautiful spacious hotel built in an older era. The staff were among the friendliest we encountered anywhere in Tunisia, and on arrival, we were welcomed with lemonade and snacks. ||We received an upgraded family suite, which was huge with a sofa and king-size comfortable bed. We did not eat dinner here,but breakfast was very good, buffet style with lots of choice. The swimming pool in the rear grounds was empty at the time of our visit, but as we were only staying overnight, this was not an issue.||There is ample parking in the grounds of the hotel.||Remarkable value for the quality offered.||

Friendly welcome at reception. Swimming pool was nice and clean. Hotel was a bit outdated, with very hard beds. Breakfast in restaurant and service there could've been better. Coffee was terrible and food wasn't too fresh.

Great hotel. They have been awarded a 4th star which they will officially receive soon. I think they totally deserve the 4 stars as the hotel is big, clean, has professional staff and is safe. Suite was big and pleasant. Probably the best hotel in Kairouan.

I think hotel deserves a high rating because the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast & dinner is smorgasbord but nice food especially the sweets. It is very clean with large swimming pool. The best thing for us was location as we like walking and it’s in striking distance of the Mosque & labyrinth of the Medina.

I stayed one night in Hotel Continental. Great location, wonderful welcoming receptionist with welcome juice and Makroud sweet. The room is so big with a nice view. WiFi is super, swimming pool is fine. Breakfast buffet makes our stay more enjoyable.

Amazing place, in our opinion this is a 4 stars hotel, not a 3 stars. Staff is simply fantastic, rooms are big and clean, position is very good, wi-fi is fast, the pool is a great addition. We'd just add some more quality to the breakfast that, in any case, is more than decent.

Great hotel!!! Big rooms, comfy beds, lovely pool. Definitely upscale, quiet, and in a great location. The staff was very, very nice and helpful. The whole place is kept well. The best breakfast spread I've had on this backpacking trip. I gave 4 stars because of cleanliness. The beds, toilet, sink, and shower were clean, but the flat surfaces around the sink, the mirror, and the toothbrush cup have not been cleaned for a long time and were very filthy; i kept my toiletries on the TV stand.

Excellent hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. The breakfast is excellent, and the location is close to all attractions, just a 15-minute walk to the Great Mosque of Kairouan.
