Continental Hotel

Really good hotel right at the heart of the historical area of Malmö. Rooms are tidy, the breakfast is plenty, and the staff is friendly, polite, helpful, and speaks good English. Really good value for money, definitely a Recomend :)

Overall nice experience. Rooms were spacious and covered all the basics. Not many luxuries like TV and such, but still there was the expected toiletries and tower replacements. The building is old, but not run-down. The staff/owners are nice and speak english. I was a bit confused with the keys situation (having to give them back every time we exited the hotel) but at the end it didnt matter much and made the experience easier, considering we were more than one. Breakfast was decent enough. Not too much variety but enough (included eggs, milk, cereal, ham, different bread types, fruit juice, tea, and coffee). Reception was there at all times, including times I arrived at 3am. It is in a very nice quiet neighborhood and in good proximity to convention centers OwO. Overall its nice. It covers all the basics, but not much else. Not luxurios or modern, but cant complain about that for the price. My only complaints would be the rather simple breakfast, the elevator (we were told it worked but never got it to work), and the room smell (it wasnt bad, it just smelled old.) Wish it was a bit more thouroghly cleaned. 4/5.

This is a great little hotel right near All the town shops, pubs, restaurants, you name it. It's got it well recommended

This hotel is better than the current rating. It is a basic hotel, nothing fancy, but absolutely fine. Yes, the bathroom is old, but otherwise clean and useable. The bed is also good for 1-2-3 nights, no problem at all. Basic breakfast is included in the price. Big adventage is the location, very close to downtown and to the railway station, and has a relatively low price in town.

Absolutely horrible and disgusting hotel, PLEASE do yourself a favour and look for something else unless this place is your only option. It is dirty, incredibly old and insanely overpriced for what you are getting.

My fault, I did not look for a room in Malmo until very late and ended up paying $152 USD for one night for this supposedly 2* star hotel (but should really be 1* star hotel.)||||Our first impression was the terrible odor from lobby...must be coming from the bags of fertilizer stacked up there or the dog? I am not sure. Even the bathroom has a weird, stinky smell too.||There is NO breakfast which is odd about how there is a recent review of this hotel being a cost bed and breakfast. It is definitely not !||There are no toiletries except a couple of soap packets.||||There is no air conditioner so Windows have to be opened, and it is noisy outside.||||The old man in the front desk is pleasant but I will not stay here again.
