We had a very nice dinner at the Continuum, where we're staying for a week of skiing and snowboarding in Jackson Hole. The ambiance is very nice, the restaurant area has very tall vaulted ceilings with the structural metal beams visible, and huge windows from which we could see the pool and the hot tub glowing in the night. Service was very attentive, the young man serving us was kind and responsive. Food was good, even if not stellar, a bit of a hit and miss. The flatbread was decent, but the pizza we had at lunch at the top of the Bridger gondola was way better. Particularly the sun dried tomatoes did not work for us, I would have preferred either a tomato sauce or fresh tomatoes. The tomato bisque was excellent, it actually made the crust of the flatbread (which I dipped into the bisque) much better. The bread pudding with semifreddo was also excellent, all flavors married very well, I think this was the highlight of the dinner for me. The tiramisu was a bit of a fail. They apologized profusely because it took a while for it to come out, they had to make it fresh. Unfortunately you can't make tiramisu fresh, the ladyfingers need time to soak the coffee and the humidity until they get soft. These ladyfingers were crunchy. Anyway, they knew the tiramisu was a fail and they did not charge us for it. Overall it was a good dinner and a nice relaxing experience.
