I love this place! I came once back at Christmas and it was very well designed for the winter. I managed to score a free birthday drink which I came back to claim this month and it was so lovely! The server was very nice and helpful when we couldn't decide between a few drinks. The menu design is really cool, and the overall aesthetic of the bar is very vibey. Will be back :)

Design part: The menu and brand design output are very interesting (closely integrating with the theme of the power station). Environment part: Bose speakers surround the top, the music volume is a bit loud, and it's necessary to speak loudly when chatting with friends. Food part: The brownies are quite delicious, the design of the cocktails is cool, and the taste is also good. Service part: Most of the service staff gather at the front positions, and the guests at the back of the circle need to wait for the service staff to come.

Recently photographed an event at Control Room B and was so happy with the venue, the staff and the vibe of the night. The staff were super organised and fast, and they helped me with getting the best shots for the night. The venue were able to look after celebreties in attendance and was great for wheelchair access too. Cant wait to come back soon, Joshua Humphrey Photography

Beautiful bar, brilliant theming. I had their version of a Pina colada and it was very tasty and served in the cutest bulb glass.

While I truly wanted the Control Room B experience to be flawless and enjoyable, there were a few aspects that fell short. I understand that visiting during a busy time can be challenging, but the service felt somewhat chaotic. For instance, we were served the wrong cocktails—a mix-up that might be avoided if the alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks had more distinct names. I recall one of the drinks being named something with "battery," which caused some confusion. Also, the waitress served our drinks to the table next to us first. Additionally, when food was served, the tables were not set with cutlery, and it went unnoticed by the staff. Simple checkbacks after serving could have resolved this, but I ultimately had to go to the bar to request cutlery myself. Given the prices & service charge, especially for drinks (the food was surprisingly reasonable), there’s room for improvement in staff training. While it may have been an unusually busy night, considering the venue’s prime location, high traffic likely isn’t uncommon, and better preparation would help maintain service quality. On a positive note, the location is stunning, and the cocktails themselves were excellent. However, it was a shame they were served at different times, preventing us from toasting together. With a few adjustments, this venue could deliver an exceptional experience that matches its fantastic setting.

I had such a lovely experience at Control Room B. The staff were very attentive and kept checking in to make sure I was okay, which I really appreciated. They even made sure my cocktail tasted just right and added my strawberry exactly to my liking. What stood out the most was that the manager also came over to ask if I was okay such a thoughtful touch that you don’t often see these days. Overall, the service was excellent and made the whole visit feel special.

Fabulous cocktails, all tasty and well-presented (keep an eye out for the one in a mini Battersea power station mug). Both our waitress Sophia and the manager gave us and our little doggie such a warm welcome, we decided to try the audio tour. Highly recommended and great fun all around!

I really love the renovation and repurposing of this old power station and had visited previously, but this was my first time visiting this bar. We were eating elsewhere so only came for drinks. We received a warm greeting upon our arrival and were shown to a table, given a menu, and told that a server would be over to take our order. We seemed to wait forever and a server never came. At this point the bar wasn’t particularly busy and a couple of servers were just hanging around the edge of the bar chatting and not looking out for us trying to get their attention. Eventually we had to go up to them and ask if they could come over, which they did. When we were about to leave it appeared that there had been a shift change as the new staff immediately removed used glasses from the bar top, straightened stools and asked us if we wanted more drinks. The bill included a ‘discretionary’ service charge, which we paid, but clearly this doesn’t incentivise staff to make any effort. I really liked the decor, the atmosphere and the themed cocktails, but the management really do need to look at the service some of their staff provide.
