Hotel Convent de la Missio definitely deserves its 5 stars. It really has the "feel" of a restored monastery. The use of sustainable materials as well as the spectrum of beiges and other muted colors provided a level of "serenity" not often present in other "inner city" hotels. And Maria, the GM, and her assistant John maintain that level of serenity. If u don't "need" to be on the beach but prefer the shops, restaurants and boutiques of the historic district, consider making this your choice. I didn't miss the beach since the rooftop pool was well exposed to the sun. Plus I wanted easy access to the museums, which house a trove of Miro paintings.| Buffet breakfasts,too, were wonderful, a level above standard continental. True, I may have been given preferential treatment since I'm a "Preferred Hotels" Rewards member and that perhaps gave me a "leg up" over other guests.I did appreciate the personalized welcome/greeting by the GM, not offered enough nowadays, and the friendliness of the bartender Omar. I already miss Palma de Mallorca!

Convent de la missio is a unusual place. A monks place, including a chapel, has been turned into a boutique style luxury hotel in one of the more quiet quarters of bustling PdM. It is located approximately same distance, 10min on foot, froom Place Major and Placa d’Espanya away from the loud and busy harbour front.|We stayed there at the end of a sailing week. |If one knows how the comfort on a sailboat is, he will highly appreciate the luxury this fantastic hotel offers. It has a patio with a small swimming pool on top. A stylish lobby followed by a bar in the old chapel. The rooms are on three floors. They were the old chambers of the monks. Today they offer the style and comfort of a five star hotel.|If you are there, do not forget to book a table at Marc Fosh’s awarded star restaurant integrated into the hotel. It won’t be cheap but compared to such places in big European cities it’s absolutely worth its price. Be prepared to spend more than three hours for a oustanding diner experience.|A big plus is the multi language speaking hotel/restaurant crew. They are helpful and answer all possible questions to the hotel, and if necessary to the food.|An unforgettable stay in a highly underestimated city.

This hotel is exceptional! The location is great and they take care of parking for a small fee. Very central for all that Palma has to offer.||The staff are welcoming and professional, available at all times and always happy to help. The breakfast is fantastic and the Michelin Star restaurant is outstanding. ||The rooms are large and the style is a zen Mediterranean vibe that had us never wanting to leave. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Palma!!

Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Stunning interiors, incredible that it used to be a monastery. The original cell doors on the rooms are fabulous! The hotel has a really calm atmosphere. Breakfast is a gorgeous and very generous buffet, not to be missed. We ate one night in the Michelin star Marc Fosh restaurant which is in the hotel. Very special indeed. Location is great, right in the middle of the old town. Cant wait to return.

Our stay here was magical! The room was gorgeous and quiet and all the Palma destinations we were excited about were a short walk away. But the true highlight was the staff; truly exceptional service all the way through. Edgar, Federico, and Veselka made our stay above and beyond. Highly recommend.

We had a beautiful time at this property. We stayed in their Premium suite which had a private terrace and a hot tub. Gorgeous spacious room and a super comfy bed. Thank you to Edgar, Federica and Veselka for their service and attention to detail. The breakfast was delicious, the pool and terrace were beautiful and it is located close to all main attractions.

Second stay at the hotel in August for 5 days. Luxurious and effortlessly cool place to stay. Without doubt the number 1 breakfast offering of any 5* hotel I have been to. So much choice with local delicacies and al a carte on top. Plus I will never forget when chatting with the hotel manager on arrival that if there was something we wanted that wasn’t on the menu he would ask chef to find it for us - I work with food for a living and there was ‘nothing’ more anyone could have wanted. The rooms are large and lovely. You book the spa and gym and have exclusive access. Location is right in the middle of everything but tucked into a quiet street. If I had to find one very small gripe, get rid of the rooms with a step in bath with the open shower - stepping in and out was a little tricky, having a walk in shower would make everything perfect. It’s not cheap but if you can you should.

We had the best stay at this hotel – everything was just spot on. It’s stylish in a quiet laid-back and elegant way, and even though it’s right in the middle of town, there is a serenity and calm asap you step inside.||Our suite was gorgeous: spacious, beautifully done, and felt like our own little hideaway.||What stood out was the exceptional service: Joan, Daniel, and the whole team were amazing; friendly, helpful, always around when you needed something, but never too much. They made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived.||The location is great: nice and quiet, but (literally) round the corner from the restaurants, shops, and galleries.||And breakfast? Exceptional!! ||This is the epitome of quiet calm luxury and worth every penny - we’re already planning our next trip back!
