To bad this church was badly damaged, but was lucky to be invited in from a priest. He knew english so we had a quick tour. Loved the glass window above main altair from 1411. There are not any frescoes inside but the it is lovely to see it.

You can see the convent of San Domenico as it dominates the skyline. It has a cavernous rather austere interior with a few interesting decorated side-chapels. Worth visiting if you are passing.

This church is really beautiful and huge. Way beyond my expectation. Please be aware of the mass schedule and when you can go and enjoy the place and when you can't.
