We stopped at the rest area and really enjoyed it! Everything was clean and well-organized, and the service was excellent. They treated us to two hot dogs — one for me and one for my wife — and even offered ice cream as we were leaving. Everything was free, very kind and thoughtful!

It took me a while to get to writing this, that's why my pictures have Christmas decorations. We stopped in here on our way to Branson and loved everything, from the cone man to the Route 66 themeing inside. The ladies at the desk were very friendly, and they had plenty of brochures for things in the area. If you are looking for a place to stop off for a rest, consider giving this place a try.

Great rest stop for dogs, kids, and anyone who needs to stretch their legs.

Google
An absolute gem of a place to stop for the night! Plenty of parking for truckdrivers or whatever you drive. Snack/drink machines inside. Very clean restrooms! Love!

Really nice rest stop, clean, and huge bathrooms. You definitely won't have to wait. Little store inside didn't check it out. There's a playground for the children. There are plenty of benches for resting for a while, too. There is plenty of parking for semi trucks too. There's a construction guy they made out of those orange barrels that are cute. Also, a sign stating route 66 like a hotel that's fabulous too. I enjoyed stopping for a while and resting up for a few.

It seems weird to get excited about a rest stop, but this is one of the best I have visited. The builing and bathroom are very clean and well designed, and the exterior of the building is fun too. It has quite literally the best playground I have ever seen at a rest stop: the equipment is in good condition with no holes in the slides, sharp edges, etc. and the surface is a soft rubberized mulch. Very impressive.

Yelp
Gotta give this rest stop props for its fantastic theming; being along Route 66 and all, they decked it out with hot rod red, black and white tiled floor, gas pump props, and even neon! There's a small park for your kids (or you) to get their wiggles out, picnic benches, vending machines with drinks and snacks, and plenty of parking. Hubbie and I were doing an overnight drive, so we just needed to pull over for a quick, safe place to take a snooze (cool cats take cat naps, right?). The restrooms were clean and stocked. The welcome center also has information and a place to sit. It wasn't open due to the hour we were there, but it looked cool from the outside.

Yelp
Stopped for a restroom break for us and the dog. Walked in and the place is nice and clean. The office area looks to have been closed for awhile. There were pamphlets and brochures on local things to do. Also vending machines. The outside was very well kept. Grass was reasonably mowed and there are plenty of covered picnic areas and play areas for the kids. Was a nice stop.

Yelp
Large parking lot. Playground area. Snack area . Restroom areas are clean and clear of clutter. Plenty of traffic to help you feel safe right off the highway. Definitely a good stopping point to take care of personal needs .

Yelp
Two rest areas here - one for westbound and one for eastbound. I'm at the westbound as I'm headed towards Kansas. After driving for about three hours from Jefferson City (I made some stops along the way), it's time for a quick nap. Clean rest area and clean restrooms. Some brochures and other tourist information on local attractions. A small playground. The truck parking area is massive and further away from the highway. Yelp
A cute clean rest area and although none of them are great I would like to ahve given it five stars but the ventilation in the mens room was terrible, or really non existent. And well it smelled the smells of a million men releiving themselves of terrible roadside food and too much time siting in hot sweat cars. Some of the fixures were out of service so there was a line waiting, really if they had just opened some windows it would have made all the difrence. In winter its not so bad but unventilated hot restrooms in summer are a great way to gag anyone.

Yelp
I hope this sign lights up at night. They not on now but I've never seen a sign like this one. A playground right up front for the little ones. The ground is that rubber mat so if the kids fall they won't get hurt. And a Shelter house that looks like a gas station with a little wooden gas pump out front. There's picnic tables inside and more in the surrounding areas.

Yelp
The rest area was maintained in immaculate condition, and the payphones provided were a pleasant walk back down memory lane. It is consistently pleasing to enter an establishment where the staff exhibits a welcoming demeanor. Additionally, an ample selection of informational brochures about the vicinity was available, along with a playground to accommodate children.

Yelp
We stopped here in the middle of Missouri for a quick bathroom break on our way to St. Louis. This facility was the nicest rest area I've ever been to. Clean bathrooms, brochures to pick up with things to do in the area, and a playground for little ones. Highly recommend stopping here on a road trip!

Yelp
Not a bad spot to pull over for a road weary traveler. It had a clean restroom. And provided me a chance to take a short nap before hitting the road again.
