Here’s the thing about this place, it has such a warm, cozy vibe, and the staff are genuinely the sweetest. I’ve really tried to love it, but the coffee is just always too sweet for me, probably because of the brand of oat milk they use (?) I’ll still be returning though. My friends adore it, and I’m on a bit of a mission to make it work.

Nice spot! I got the red creamy toasty which was delicious, and the iced chai was good as well. Friendly service. The music is a bit loud but otherwise good experience.

The place is to be! I really enjoyed my meal at Coogee:) The food was very good and the stuff super friendly. In addiction to that they had a super nice playlist on the day I visited them. If you are into oldschool hip-hop/rap and like the atmosphere of a surfers/artsy/cozy room, you are gonna love Coogee! Will always come back, when I will be in Marseille again.:)

Yelp
Feels a little like home in the Pacific Northwest in North America. Staff is super friendly, sometimes there's a super cute dog & their food/drink is great. What more could you ask for. Oh, they have amazing wifi too so it's a great place to setup your office for a few hours.

Yelp
Best coffee in Marseille This funky little café serves what is probably the best coffee in Marseille. It's away from the tourist strip and it's a bit of a hike, but it's worth it. I had a flat white and a banana choc chip cookie which was just scrumptious! The owner is super charming and friendly too!

Yelp
They advertise they have Wi-Fi, but they admit that they actually have no Wi-Fi for customers.

Yelp
This place is such a great and hip cafe in the heart of Marseille. I got a cappucino, which was reasonably priced ~3.5 euros and it was greatly made! There was an English speaking barista in there and I enjoyed sitting outside on the patio while enjoying it. The place inside was a nicely lit intimate area good for having conversations and relaxing. The only problem is that there was no WIFI there for someone deciding to work at a cafe.

Yelp
Great coffee and nice music. The granola and cappuccino were well made. Service was very friendly and spoke English well.

Yelp
Delicious coffee and tasty muffins. Portions are a bit small though. Cool hipster interior with lots of hanging plants and good music :)

Yelp
Good coffee in Marseilles? Well, if you like I love the whole coffee-revival in Northern Europe and has become seriously high-maintenance when it comes to coffee, then you're in for a serious disappointment in Marseilles. In general you're options are slightly burned and bitter espresso or watery too-hot cappuccino. Not good for the addicted coffee-lover. The ONLY place I have managed to track down in Marseille (and I have looked on yelp, googled and read coffee-blogs) that can provide a good cup of coffee is Coogee. It's not extraordinary or really memorable, but it's good and for one rather addicted coffee lover, it's worth a small detour in this city. The muffins here are supposed to be something you need to try, so I had one with caramel - very sticky and sweet. I'm personally not a fan of muffins, so when I say they're alright, it's definitely a thumbs up. They surely managed to make them more interesting here.

Yelp
A lovely little establishment. The atmosphere and the story are definitely why I chose to try this place out. They welcome people from all over and speak love to practice their English :) The muffins are okay. The real gem was the chai latte! I thought it was very delicious and I am very articulate about my chais!

Yelp
Coolest cafe in marseille. My new home. Friendly staff, hipster vibe, hip hop music, good food, and they even have almond milk! Don't miss out.

Yelp
By far the best coffee in town, upgraded with nice latte-art and home-made muffins (they make them directly behind the bar in front of customers). It was our 'last hope', after we tested several so-called coffee-bars, and they delighted us finally. Close to Metro station 'Baille'. Nice interior, retro bicicles as decoration. People who don't like coffee find nice other beverages alternative to coffee, like hot chocolate.

Yelp
2018 - heads-up...no wifi...Coogee, Marseille, France. The coffee, chai-latte and muffins are great. As well as the jazzy music. Nice place to work anyway (with your own data....)

One of the best coffee shops in Marseille. The owners helped me with my french every day I went in. If you go, be sure tog et the chai tea and the nutella muffins! They are amazing.

Yelp
Coogee is cool! The cappuccino is very good and the muffin I had was fantastic. There is even a classic Nintendo system and some couches in the back! The cafe has the feel of hipster meets mojave desert. I heard the owner lived in Austrailia for some time and tried to replicate the feel of a laid back Australian cafe.

Yelp
Cafe was not open on Tuesday at 8.15am as advertised (was meant to be open from 7am). No sign, no explanation for their closure on their website. They could be the best coffee in Marseilles, but impossible to know if they don't open their doors when advertised!

Yelp
Me and the little woman and me on our second honeymoon was in paradise drinking our coffees in this exotci locale. It was real wonderful cheap, too. My sister in laws Rose and Yvonne they said we should go there, then we did. It was because ever since me and the wife was married we couldn't of afforded fancy coffees. Then the lung cancer check came in and first thing on our minds was, let's fly to Paris on Air France and stay at Hotel L'Hotel and at the earliest possible opportunity call a planner for a private jet ride down to Marseilles to have a coffee at this wonderful as all heck coffee saloon, or as they say here in Francais cafe. It is the fanciest kind of coffee in the whole wide world. We love Coogee! We praise Jesus and The Lord for Coogee, and also plenty of Arabs were in there also, but maybe not Arabs, they just looked like Arabs but we made it out alive, Tiffeny my wife and me and the wife said to each other feels a little bit like Stent, West Virginia, in jolly old France. It is an experience that stays with you for life, just like college for them that can go to it. By the way does anybody know a good place for the best porterhouse steak in France, since that was another thing we would of liked.
