I really wanted to love Cook & Craft but I just didn't. It may not be their fault entirely, it's possible that part of it was that interior temperature wasn't so cool, of course it's very hot outside but the A/C just wasn't doing the trick, or they consciously chose to keep it warm because there weren't many patrons inside (total speculation on my part), but another factor could be the time of day we were there, around 3 PM on a Monday, very few occupied tables then.
Service was very good, though, and food was pretty good too. Parmesan garlic wings were very tasty and crispy and tender, sauce was great (we asked for it on the side and they easily accommodated). Chocolate bacon was pretty good, too, for me, the chocolate coating was a little thick, but I appreciated the gesture, and the pralines stuck in the chocolate worked well for me too. See, that's part of what excited me about the proposition of eating here, it just somehow fell short. The airline chicken was okay but a little sweet for me (and again, I know I can clearly see the menu and it mentions the orange marmalade, and I gave it a shot but didn't like it all that much).
The ambience would've been fun if there were more people there at the time, I can tell it would do fine there. I liked the space and the tables were comfortable and parking was easy. I just didn't quite find enough to draw me back.
