Absolutely beautiful cake! Lovely staff and easy communication. I only docked a point because for a strawberry shortcake I anticipated a fresh strawberry and this cake was artificially flavored with a strawberry syrup which made it a bit too sweet. But my daughter was happy so I was happy. I would definitely order again (though not this flavor)

I’ve been going to this bakery every time I crave a treat. From their cookies to pastries and pies i have never once had an issue. The place is clean and well decorated, and during the holidays they have the most delicious festive desserts. During thanksgiving me and my family bought a delicious pumpkin pie, it wasn’t tooth ache sweet, but rather had many flavor profiles that was enhanced by a bit of sweetness. Their cookies are the best i have had so far, once again not too sweet, but rather enhanced by the extra flavors on top. And just the other day i bought a blueberry puff pastry, it was absolutely delicious, the crunchy texture on the top, the buttery fluffy puff pastry and the blueberry sweet filling. I would definitely recommend trying small businesses such as Cookies and Cream Pastry shop over any bigger chain. You can see the care they put into their products and business. the quality, the aesthetics, the taste of the product is absolutely outstanding. The staff are very sweet as well, taking the time to greet every customer, and allowing you to decide on what you want without rush. Definitely recommend this place!!

I'd ordered a 10 inch lemon poppy seed cake and two dozen cupcakes in raspberry and pistachio flavors for my baby shower. The cakes were absolutely melt-in-the mouth delicious - not overly sweet yet flavorful and moist. They were delivered right on time to be arranged on our dessert table. All my guests raved about them and I couldn't have been happier to hear that! Thanks to Cookies and Cream for helping make our dessert table a memorable part of our event!

This pastry shop is fairly nice with tasty products. I gave it a 2 star rating because of the BIG blonde hair GIRL at the register in glasses. She does not have a pleasant personality and comes off as very rude especially to people of color. No good morning, thank you, you are welcome! Just throws the food down and walks away. Customer service is very important for a business to succeed… Someone needs to groom that CHILD before her behavior hits the wrong customer!!

A place that is one of the best places to visit in Kew Gardens with your family for the holidays and enjoy your favorite dessert!!! 😍 The pistachio mousse cake is divinely enchanting, mouthwatering must have experience to taste!!! This is my go to bakery. Everything is made fresh and never had a bad experience. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the place is very chill. Small space, no a lot of seats to sit, mostly pick up and go. They have a couple of tables inside and outside. Coffee is made fresh and I love the pastries. Must try!

I know I said I wouldn't go back but decided that maybe their other items might be better so I think any review I leave will be for the item I try. This time I went for their brownie. It wasn't bad tho it did have crunchy edges. Wasn't sure if that's how it's supposed to be but it wasn't bad. Just not what I expected. The brownie was very rich and it took me two days to eat it because of that. Guess that's good cause I enjoyed it for longer. This was $3 so not too bad. Lady at the register was very nice so no complaints there. I also love walking in cause the smell is yummy. Lol! I think I'll slowing try more items since the brownie wasn't bad.

Wow. What an amazing looking and tasting cake! With a few weeks to go for my son's birthday party, we decided to enlist Yelp in our search for a fantastic cake-making place nearby. We landed on this place because their body of work was really impressive. We reached out, gave them a photo of what we want, told them how big our party was, and just like that we ended up getting our order in for this amazing Cocomelon cake. The cake was ready on the date and time we agreed to, and we were able to easily pay the balance. The staff were great about handing the cake off and getting excited for our Cocomelon-themed party. Our guests at our party LOVED the cookies and cream flavored cake. It had Oreo on the inside too. Our party guests thought it was perfectly moist and yummy. This is where we are getting our cakes for big events moving forward!

Update: I had a meeting today in Brooklyn and was told I need to bring some desserts . So this morning I called and asked if they had cookies available for today about 2 dozen . They asked if I wanted anything for Mother's Day - I completely forgot it's tomorrow and I said sure . I got there and they had cup cakes so I brought what was on display . They were amazing ! I also brought the assortment of cookies (1 dozen ) as well . Cookies are priced by the pound . They also have mini cup cakes as well ! It was crowded today my guess because of Mothers Day tomorrow but it's a warm and friendly atmosphere . Did I mention I love their Tarts ?! Check it out if you can .

Cute neighborhood bakery with all the charm and quality of an established bakery in town. I normally stay with a friend who lives in the neighborhood whenever I visit the city. Yes, I have my normal bakery spots in Manhattan that I check off whenever I take the train to go in town, but my daughter actually prefers I pick up the Italian butter cookies from here every time. Lots of variety of pastries, cookies and cakes. You can't go wrong with whatever you decide to order from here!

I was driving and saw this pastry and stopped because I was craving something sweet. I was greeted kindly and purchased the red velvet cheesecake and it was really good not too sweet and the cake was moist

Amazing food, very clean and very nice. Except the younger girl that works there is very nasty. She doesn't know how to treat the customers. And on top of all the attitude and everything, she asks me for a tip only for serving me a cake. I think the tip is voluntary and not because they ask for it.

We ordered a pistachio cream with chocolate cake and a chocolate and buttercream frosting. It was jaw dropping good. My entire family ages 79-2yrs old were stunned. My aunt just called to tell me again how unbelievably good this cake was. I cannot wait to try everything else there!!

I was searching for a pastry shop to make a birthday cake for 35 people in Forest Hills, and I'm so grateful to have discovered Cookies and Cream on Yelp. When I reached out with initial inquiries, Cookies and Cream had the best and most helpful communication, and they were very flexible about accommodating my requests. The result was a gorgeous strawberry shortcake for my dad's birthday, a rare cake that actually tasted as good as it looked. The sponge layers were so divinely light, and the strawberries and cream so luscious, I only regret that I don't live in New York so I could order desserts from here all the time. It's definitely a winner if you're looking for a great dessert and wonderful service, whatever the occasion.

What a great neighborhood spot! Kew Gardens can be a bit light on options but I'm grateful to have Cookies and Cream close by for high quality coffee and sweet treats. The shop is cute and bright and the staff are always wonderful and patient. I admit I don't have the biggest sweet tooth and I typically don't crave sugar, but when I do the tres leches cakes at Cookies and Cream hit the spot! My son is a big fan of their cake pops, and for a kid who doesn't have the biggest appetite, I was surprised when he put away two cake pops and a gigantic M&Ms cookie in less than 10 minutes! The cakes here are delicious, moist, fresh, and all things wonderful so I will certainly be ordering from here when there is an occasion that calls for cake but this is also a place you can and should pop in for a coffee or pastry in a grab-and-go situation. Highly recommended!

The ice cream cake was gorgeous and delicious. No one could believe it was an actual ice cream cake because it was so perfect and beautifully designed.

I ordered my baby shower cake from here last month, they did not make the cake the way I asked. I gave a specific picture of their own work and was told there would be no issues getting the cake the way I wanted, which was a very simple design. When we went to pick up the cake it was not what I asked for, they offered no solution at first. After contacting their boss we were told they can add an extra layer at no cost, however the attitude we received from there 3 ladies was extremely rude and hostile. I paid nearly $200 for a cake that was made incorrectly and the response by these ladies was that it could not be done. If that was the case I should have been contacted before the cake was made, I placed this order 2 weeks in advance. When we went to pick up the cake later that day with the additional layer, we were told that they would no longer do business with us. They were wrong, disrespectful and rude and had audacity to say that to us. We truly did not plan on doing business with them again because of the service we received, however the owner and workers did not take any accountability for their service and actions. We unfortunately chose the wrong bakery to make our baby shower cake, everything about it was disappointing and we would not recommend them due to their service. The ladies in the front should learn to have more patience and understanding instead of argumentative. We didn't get names but this was on the morning of Dec 7th. One in particular had a nasty attitude and walked away yet still was making rude comments to us. It was the worst service I have ever received.

Was looking for a birthday cake with unique flavors and came across this neighborhood spot. The Strawberry Pineapple cake was beautifully decorated and moist and flavorful. The icing was like a lightly sweet buttercream with shredded coconut around the perimeter. We also tried the cookies and cannolis and they were all very good and fresh. Cannolis were filled to order. Iced coffee was delicious too.

My second visit to this bakery and of course I walked out with more than I went in for lol everything in the cases look so delicious ! This fruit tart was so good and a very nice size for$5 . I've seen much smaller ones at other bakeries for this price point and not as good . The girl behind the counter was very nice and once again the store is spotless .

Got a birthday cupcake-cake from here. It had chocolate, vanilla, & red velvet cupcakes. Everybody enjoyed them!! Small, bright, and clean shop with pleasant people working behind the counter.

We need a last minute cake for our son's bday party in Queens. Our son is a huge baby shark fan! We decided to go all out with the cake. I also purchased the baby shark family fondant from Etsy. For the cake, we were looking for a blue and white buttercream or ombre effect to resemble ocean waves. We checked other bakeries in the area that quoted more than usual due to the short notice. Fortunately, we came across Cookies and Cream on Yelp and made a trip there. The staff were more than accommodating and friendly. They made suggestions and note down every detail that we want. We had a strawberry shortcake with different hues of blue or ombre effect to achieve the ocean waves. The cake was a big hit with everyone! It had real strawberry filling and buttercream. I should had opt for a two layer with custard. It was a bit too much of butter cream for the kids. I'll make note for the next occasion. Even the frosting was not too sweet. We will definitely be returning for future orders.

I really enjoyed my tiramisu birthday cake -- light, airy, flavorful, creamy, and not too sweet! We also tried some rainbow cookies, which were also good. The rainbow cookies have more jam than I am used to, but it definitely made the cookies moist. I will return for future cake needs.

I came here on a Wednesday night to get a cake for my job. It was my responsibility to get a tres leche cake (that's what they specifically wanted) I called the bakery to check. They said yes and I immediately went to pick it up. Fast forward next afternoon we cut the cake at work it's so DRY. I'm like I'm so sorry everyone. They said it was tres leche. I called the store like "hello you said it was tres leche meanwhile it was dulce de leche cake". Girl goes "I told you we didn't have tres leche" I'm like hmm don't remember that. *hangs up* I check my receipt from the store cause I knowwww I'm not buggin. Sure ENOUGH she charged me for tres leche so who's lying?!?! For me it goes down to principle, admit it - take accountability.

I don't understand this business. I called two times and went by in person once all at different times of the morning and day. I asked if they would be able to make a German chocolate cake. Each of the three times they told me they weren't sure, and I should come back at a different time to check with the baker, I guess I will take my business somewhere else. I'm writing this review in hopes the management will see this and change how they are doing business because it does not work.

So happy to have this amazing bakery in the neighborhood! I recently moved to the area and I stumbled across this cute and cozy shop while on a stroll. Their 7 layer cake and strawberry short cake is amazing! Aside from their cakes tasting delicious, the customer service is the greatest! I personally dislike having to do things in person (LOL) and I reached out to them via Instagram to request a custom cake. Their response time is fast and are super accommodating to each and every one of my requests! I will definitely be ordering all my custom cakes from this shop! This place is amazing, they have so many different things that taste great. We got the hamantaschen, guava cheese puff, and cannoli and all not only tasted great, but were fresh and light. It's impressive that they're able to do all these desserts from totally different cultures really well. The cannoli was probably the best I've ever had from anywhere, including Italian bakeries. It's also reasonably priced. What a gem!

I stopped in tonight to grab some cookies, I had the hazelnut Nutella, pumpkin, peanut butter, and o oatmeal raisin. I also got a cake pop, the tab was 16, which isn't outrageous but not cheap. I was just, not impressed. I don't know if they weren't fresh, some were hard some were soft. The flavors are just so mediocre, tastes that can come from a grocery store. It's only fair to say that this rating is based solely on the cookies, post reviews seem to speak highly of the pastries and cakes which I haven't tried. I don't know if I'll come back...

I love this shop. I'm very funny about my desserts. But this place exceeds my expectations. Everything here is fresh and delicious. The staff is soooo friendly. Coffee is always to good, but the smell of everything being done right at the moment. So fresh, smelling so good, that while you are waiting for your cup of joe you begin to drool a bit and then a little more and at the end of it you end up ordering so many goodies! Mmmmmmmm

What a wonderful underrated little bake shop! Was visiting the area and this came up on my yelp search to kill some time. I was so impressed that they sell so many high quality cakes by the slice. Which is not easy to find. Tiramisu, Strawberry Shorcake, Cheesecake and many more. They even have some savory things like empanadas! So much variety of just the right stuff. Everything I had was fresh and delicious!

This bakery exceeded my expectations for my brother's birthday cupcakes! I came in with a vision and they were able to make it come alive in 3 days wow! The cupcakes were a huge hit and were as delicious as they were pretty. I asked for 1 dozen vanilla and 1 dozen red velvet cupcakes with 6 glitter covered strawberries! All this for only $70! We were blown away at how fresh and delicious everything tasted including the amazing strawberries. I had a go-to cake spot in East Harlem but Cookies and Cream takes the cake lol (pun intended!)

Live in the area and tried them a while back - their cake was so good. Tried this past weekend for an Easter dessert. Amazing chocolate layer cake slice... hard critic here and this is amazing. Light and fluffy cake, not too sweet but rich enough and not overly moussy. Just the right amount of icing and cream to cake ratio. Really pleased.

I needed a custom cake for a baby shower and was just randomly messaging different bakeries. Cookies and cream answered me promptly and I was able to communicate with them with ease. I emailed them photos of what I wanted and they quoted me a very reasonable price. I was able to leave them a deposit over the phone. Pick up was safe and seamless. We ordered the strawberry short cake and our guests raved about how moist and tasty it was. We got a few cupcakes and cookies which were a big hit too. This place will become our new go to for party cakes.

Thank you so much to this bakery for accepting my order last minute!! My bestfriends family had decided to throw her an intimate surprise baby shower and the theme we decided was Winnie the Pooh! And this cake came out to exactly what we wanted! Due to COVID it's hard to really go in person and place an order, but nonetheless I contacted them via Instagram Direct Message and they made the ordering process smooth and efficient. I gave them a time, date, cake requests and my card information over the phone for a deposit. I personally would've preferred to send them the money through Zelle, Venmo or PayPal just because for me it'll be deemed safer, but since it was a last minute order they needed to secure a payment fast! Other than that the cake itself was a hit! Everyone loved the flavor (Dulce de Leche w/ buttercream frosting) and especially the design was just perfect!! They're service is A1. The girls are so sweet and patient. I love the coffees, I've tried my go to iced coffee w caramel and it was great. Also tried a few other coffee drinks, and I loved it. To me, they're cakes are a bit more on the sweeter side than other bakeries. But overall a great place!

Lived a block away for 2 years before trying this spot. I think the exterior and the tucked in spot where it is located is deterring. Then, my daughter was craving a cannoli...so we went in a got one. YUM. So we went back again, same greatness. We just went in for some cookies and I said, I better write this review before I forget. So good, so soft, fresh. And I am a critic, not in a good way...this is nyc after all...we can get the best. I plan on always patronizing this place. Don't pass it by, it's worth the double parking!

I come to Cookies and Cream for my desserts pretty often, and today I decided to try their breakfast. I must say : impressed. I ordered fried eggs with sausage and onions on a croissant that turned out to be delish. I love how they added outdoor seating due to the pandemic, super chill and the area has a roof so you're covered just in case it rains. Appreciate the fast and friendly service.

If you are wanting some of the greatest pastries in Queen oh hell who am I kidding the best in NYC you should come here! Nothing here is overly sweet! I highly recommend the Carrot Cake and definitely the fruit tarts! They are so good it will make you wanna slap your momma! Sooooo dang good! We use to go to this other place but now Cookies and Cream is our go to place! All the employees are super friendly and helpful!
