My wife and I were in Cumberland for their Saturday market. We decided to try a local spot for lunch. We stopped at Cook's Restaurant. We ordered a burger, fries, and a spicy chicken sandwich, wrapped in lettuce instead of bread. The fries were absolutely incredible, just the kind of fries I love. My wife's burger was a smash burger with cheese. So good! My spicy chicken sandwich was also excellent. What a great lunch!

This is the second time visiting this little gem. This time I remembered to snap a photo. Brought my family on a rainy day. It is worth the tiny detour into Cumberland. The burgers hit. The host is incredibly friendly and welcoming.

We had a great experience eating here. The food was made quickly and delicious. Lots of drink options available. We received excellent service.

For my money, the best burgers on the whole island. I always look forward to stopping in after a big hiking trip in the area and it always hits the spot. All the little details are done right and they're consistently delicious. Nice clean, relaxed atmosphere run by professional and friendly staff. Thanks for all the awesome burgers over the years, I'll be back soon! :)

The food tasted good and was good quality. However, I found the portions were very small for the expensive price paid. I got the messy fries, and for $10 it was disappointingly small. Also the fried chicken burger patty was incredibly thin and the burger was bulked up by shredded lettuce. A burger fillings shouldn't be 60% lettuce. The restaurant was nice and clean, and the staff were very friendly.

Cooks burgers makes, in my opinion, the best burger in BC. I'm thrilled that years later the burger still holds up. Well worth the trip from Vancouver.

This place has the best burgers you can ever imagine. It also has a divine holy bathroom. You will be enlightened after trying the burger and entering the divine bathroom.

Absolutely the best burger in town. In the Valley. I get cravings for this place often and have never been disappointed. Each time as good as the first. Quality is high, service is good. Thank you for opening this incredible establishment!

The restaurant looks unassuming and on a side street, but once we ordered food and a nice pilsner beer, it turns out this is a place you don't want to miss. Simply put , it was one of the best hamburgers we've ever had and reasonably priced as well. When we're in Cumberland next time, this will be our goto for burgers and beer.

Best burger on Vancouver island... this place is a must try. Food is from a self serv counter, so more like a fast food setup than a sit down restaurant... however the food is anything but "fast food". Everything is made in house and top quality.

Great breakfast and nice warm inviting atmosphere Music was fantastic and lighting is conducive to conversation. I will be back to grab some merchandise which i must say is very cool. Worth a visit. Fast service too!
