COOL MAMA Hotel Salzburg Sky Restaurant Bar

Comfortable stay with great perks, but room for improvement Stayed at COOL MAMA Hotel and overall had a great experience. The room was very spacious and well-equipped with a coffee maker, safe box, and quality toiletries The shower was excellent—great water pressure and a sleek design that made it feel luxurious. Breakfast was a highlight: fresh, delicious, and with lots of variety. From warm pastries to eggs and fruit, everything was top quality. The staff were friendly and the overall vibe of the hotel was modern and stylish. The hotel’s rooftop restaurant and terrace offer panoramic views of Salzburg and the surrounding Alps Parking was super convenient, and the hotel provided a public transport pass which made getting into Salzburg easy and stress-free. Need to walk 10 min to get to the bus stop A few things could be better: the reception staff weren’t as warm or welcoming as expected, which was a bit disappointing. Also, while the room had a mini bar, it came with extra charges, so keep that in mind. Still, a solid choice for comfort, convenience, and a stylish atmosphere and highly recommend

This is a terrific place to stay in Salzburg. The staff are extremely accommodating and friendly. They have underground parking, and a terrific breakfast. Also, it’s close to a buss line into old-town Salzburg. Don’t let the odd name put you off, this is a cool place to stay

Great hotel in a perfect location, ideal for travelers passing through. Delicious breakfast with an amazing view. Dinner at the Sky restaurant was excellent, and we were kindly treated to the meal as a gesture of apology for the wait.

The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and features a modern design. However, the professionalism of the two young reception staff could be improved. They frequently conversed in their own language and appeared to overlook the potential discomfort this may cause to guests, particularly when accompanied by discreet laughter. Such behaviour can create an impression of disregard for customers and detract from an otherwise pleasant experience.

The hotel is really amazing and staff were really helpful and friendly specially Sebastian. The room was big enough and furniture was modern. The room was equipped with all amenities required. The room was really quite and isolated from noise and view is amazing

Amazing experience. We were booked in the hotel by close friends in Salzburg for a special occasion and we were delighted with our experience. Panoramic views of the city on the 11th floor and staff were always happy to help as we needed. Breakfast buffet in the morning was excellent and one of the best I have had. If visiting Salzburg, I highly recommend!

This was one of the cheapest hotels we stayed in on our European tour, but also one of the nicest. Very high spec and definitely punches above its weight. A short drive to the city centre, but I believe there is public transport but we didn’t use it.

Very Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff were rude and discriminatory in their behavior. The room service was poor: • No bottled water was provided, and when I asked, I was told to drink from the tap. • The TV was outdated and the apps (like Netflix and YouTube) were not accessible. I asked several times for the system to be updated, but the staff member said it wasn’t possible. • Almost every room service, including the iron, came with an extra charge. • The air conditioning was very weak and the room felt stuffy and uncomfortable. Overall, the quality of service, cleanliness, and comfort was far below acceptable standards. Definitely not worth the money and I would not stay here again
