10 Places to Fall in Love With Fall

"There are some elaborate corn mazes out there, but the Cooley Brothers took the Halloween favorite to a whole other level. Cool Patch Pumpkins has been growing and selling pumpkins since 1999; however, it hasn’t always been easy. Poor sales in the initial years forced the owners, Matt and Mark Cooley, to find new ways to attract more customers. In 2003, they created a 15-acre corn maze that lured hundreds of families. As the pumpkins started to sell, the brothers became ambitious with their main attraction. The maze grew in size each year until 2007 when the labyrinth was awarded the Guinness Book of World Records “world’s largest temporary corn maze” prize. But it didn’t stop there: On its 10th anniversary in Fall 2012, the maze stretched a total of 53 acres, more than 13 acres larger than the 2007 record layout. The Cooley brothers continue to modify and expand the maze annually. They create a new design each year, starting with a detailed blueprint and later hand-cutting each and every turn of the massive design." - ATLAS_OBSCURA

The corn maze was AMAZINGLY huge! I would never get in there without a map. Even with the map in hand, it still took us almost two hours to get out of it through the shortest route, with a few breaks at every bridge. There were four bridges total in four different colors that connected different parts of the maze. It's really fun if you love orienteering, or imagining which part of the graphic on the map you were walking on, but it's not for everybody if all that they do is just following someone through piles and piles of corns until they start singing "corn fields forever"! The good thing about this place though is that there are other cool features for different age groups. The corn bath in particular was surprisingly fun for us. It was built for kids, but many adults like us found it very relaxing to dip in or to lay down on it. Very relaxing like laying down on a gigantic bean bag, especially after the exhausting hike through the corn maze. They also had pumpkins on the vine, not on display like in many patches, if you go there early in the season. We were happy to pick one fresh off the farm for only five dollars. One more plus about this place is the food. The tri-tip sandwiches were surprisingly good. Don't expect restaurant quality sandwiches, but we appreciate the soft and smoky flavored tri-tip in a remote farm. Portable parties were the only thumb down for us but that's the same at every pumpkin patch. If anything, I'd say this place was not as "pretty" for photography as several other patches. We were quite impressed by all the fun features in Three Nuns and some patches around Halfmoon Bay last year. Overall, I'm glad that we were able to make it here at least once.

Came here back in October. The maze is pretty cool, though the map is difficult to follow. Took me and my girlfriend about an hour and a half to find our way out. The pumpkins are pretty nice but I think they're a bit expensive compared to stores and other places you may acquire one for the season. Overall I think this place is worth a visit.

Google
Amazing experience I have done this with my family two years in a row. The line for tickets only takes a few minutes it's priced at 22 per a person for tickets with kids 5 and under free. The maze is a legitimate challenge. Do not try to wing it, you will regret it. It can get hot out in the field so come prepared to walk, for the heat and to know how to solve a maze and you will have a blast.

Google
This was my first time ever doing a corn maze and this was soo much fun! I completed this with a partner and decided to take the maze section by section with two maps, one person completing the maze, the other navigating. Communication and patience is a must! It took us over 90 minutes to complete and I would definitely do this again. Have water! They do provide crayons. Bring a hat! I personally wouldn't do this with a large group and loved the fact that the maze wasnt overcrowded. Great experience overall!

Google
This really is the best corn maze on the planet. The first few weeks the maze is in its best form. When I think of fall I think of cool pumpkin patch. They have the corn maze, hay rides, and so much more. Don’t forget to get your pumpkins, they have so many varieties. There is plenty of parking. Wagons to carry pumpkins out a hard to find, so bring your own if you plan on getting pumpkins.

Google
So unbelievably spacious and filled with every kind of pumpkin you can imagine! You could easily spend a few hours here exploring, picking out a pumpkin, losing yourself in the corn maze, bathing in corn kernels, or taking a tour in the back of one of the hay-laden trucks. This place provides a great opportunity to put away the social media and enjoy the outdoors with loved ones. I did not rate it five stars, because the cost of everything is exorbitant. I got a corn dog that should have been no more than $2 for $5, and a tri-tip sandwich that should not have been more than $10 for $15. My wife and I also picked our own pumpkin right off the vine...and paid $25 for it. So just a heads-up: pumpkins for a family of five could easily surpass $100. I am glad to provide some patronage for a Dixon business, and I understand that inflation is severe...but it is hard to justify spending this much money. Nonetheless, I have never seen a better pumpkin patch in terms of both size and available activities. I hope to return to this lovely location every year!

Google
I haven't been to the maze for some time, but I have been a few times. It was awesome and expanded each time I went! There are things to do outside of the maze if you don't feel comfortable going in. If you have a panic attack, I recommend throwing yourself through each wall until you get outside. I had to do that once. It is totally worth the experience, either way!! The recent fires and disasters in that area just break my heart. I hope they are able to open again soon.

Google
Awesome place! We went a few years ago and still can't forget it when fall arrives. The best pumpkin patch site. Lots of things to do like climb their hay pyramid, play in their corn bath/pool, huge corn maze, shoot pumpkins with their cannons, take pictures in the mini houses in the middle of the pumpkin patch, pedal bikes for the kids are also available. Place is well kept and clean. There's a concession stand to buy foods on some days. Well worth the drive. The experience and the fun won't be beat.

Yelp
It was only a 5/5 experience because of my partner leading the way; otherwise, I wouldn't pay $110 ($22/person) to sabotage myself in a sweltering hot corn maze. Before starting, my partner advised we dedicate 10 minutes to mark the map and draw out our path to conquer the maze, which we now see is absolutely NECESSARY and NOT OPTIONAL. Because of that course of action, we completed the maze in 1 hour and 10 minutes! In the beginning of our journey in the sea of corn, we encountered a lot of people within the first 20 minutes and then stopped seeing people after, lol. I assume people trudged through the corn field and did not complete the maze, 'cause we started around 6:50 pm and ended around 8:10 pm, in which the maze was completely pitch dark. We did ask staff in the beginning what would happen if we never made it out of the maze. The two guys positioned at the front of the maze entrance looked at each other and told us to honestly just fight through the corn until we see the road or voices of civilization. ( ° °) I would encourage folks to either partner up with ambitious people and bring a pair of flashlights or just take a photo out front and call it a day, lol. Anyways, please enjoy our Garmin tracked map of our conquest of the maze! Corn maze will be open until October 31st! TLDR: Outline the map. Bring flashlights if you come in the evening. Have fully charged phones.

Yelp
This was REALLY COOL!!! Came here for fun on my birthday I've never been to a Real pumpkin patch and NEVER been in a Corn Maze. It's a huge property. They hold the world record for the Largest corn maze in the world. They are not currently the largest in the world though. So you pay the admission fee of $22 a person and they hand you a map and you are on your own. We didn't make it very far, it was really hot so we went a ways and then THANKFULLY found our way back. Next time I go, it'll be on a cool day and I'm going to bring a pencil to keep track of our route to help us get to the end. But it's soooo big, I can't imagine getting all the way through in ONE DAY!! We went on a weekday so the attractions were limited - but it was GREAT. The staff that we encountered were very friendly and accommodating. You can wander through the pumpkin patch and find your personal favorite. The prices are very good. She told me $7 of the ones that are "basketball" size and the price goes up after that. mine was $8. I found a great GREEN pumpkin and was excited about the color. I was unaware that it was going to change color to orange! Oh, and there's a big T-Rex on the property and he LOVES pumpkins I took the opportunity to feed him a green one. This one is a herbivore, and does not eat humans!!! I wanted to pick some corn too, because there were some very beautiful ears along our journey...but apparently it's "feed" corn for animals and not for us earthlings. We'll definitely go back. if not this year then NEXT!!!

Yelp
This spot was in the Guinness book of World records for the biggest corn maze in the world! So cool. The corn maze was great and not too bad especially if you take the "short cuts". I loved that this place was super organized including parking and was not as packed as the ones in the immediate Bay Area. Friendly staff too, not big city grumpy.

Yelp
This is my family's go to stop when Halloween time comes around. Plenty of fun activities. Corn maze, hay rides, corn pit, etc. They serve different types of foods, snacks, and drinks. And have plenty of places to sit. The service is always good. Their prices are pretty good too!
google avatar

Caili C.

Yelp
We came here mainly for the corn maze which was much bigger than I imagined. Entrance is $22 a person and we ended up spending about 1.5 hrs navigating our way through. It's definitely recommended to use the map and while there are some shortcuts carved in the corn maze, if you follow the correct path, it'll take at least that time to find your way through. There are a few bridges built in where you can get a nice picture of the entire maze and we got some great views at sunset. Outside of the corn maze, there's the pumpkin patch, hay rides and corn bath (similar to a ball pit but with corn kernels. The area outside of the corn maze is small but cute with dinosaur statues and minion hay stacks.

Yelp
I came here with friends solely for the corn maze, which was $22 a person. It took over 2 hours to complete. If you go by yourself, I HIGHLY suggest bringing enough water and pre-plan your route. Otherwise, you can easily get lost. I had a slight cold, was thirsty, and started seeing double from all that walking. LOL. Aside from the corn maze, it was a decent pumpkin patch. Apparently, they had a hayride and corn bath for kids. I didn't check those out. I usually come to pumpkin patches for the scenery and photos. They have a huge dinosaur, spider, and minion displays. Selection of pumpkins was decent. Service was average, considering I only experienced their snack station. Parking and entrance were free, which I appreciated. The corn maze is a fun fall attraction!

Yelp
My bf and I wanted to do a small day trip on a weekend and decided to hit up Cool Patch Pumpkins for the corn maze. I had gone before a couple of years ago, but we cheated our way through as we went near closing time so I really wanted to re-do it. We ended up getting there around 1:30pm on a Sunday, and it was PACKED. Luckily we found parking as people were leaving. We walked towards the entrance and since I had been there before, I knew that the ticket booth was WAY across the other side of the entrance. It's pretty annoying that they don't have it set up right next to the entrance of the corn maze. You have to walk across the field to buy your ticket, and then you have to walk back to get to the entrance of the corn maze. It wouldn't be such a big deal if the sun wasn't sweltering. There's also no clear sign(s) as to where the ticket booth is, so I overheard a handful of confused people. After getting our hefty $22 tickets and the corn maze maps, we just went right in and tackled it. Now, you might be thinking "it's not a maze if you have a map" or as a teenager behind me said "maps are for...[cats]". Let me tell you though, even with a map and taking the right pathways all throughout without cutting through, it took us an hour and 40 minutes. This maze is EXPANSIVE. It was also HOT, and we ran out of water towards the second half. Overall, this is a fun experience if you've never been. I would suggest you go around early sunset when it's cooler but still enough light out and BRING WATER. The food and drinks there are without a doubt going to be overpriced, but I don't think they have an issue with you bringing your own food/drinks.
google avatar

Kayla P.

Yelp
Came here for the first time last year to do the corn maze. It was so hot and we definitely weren't expecting to be in there for that long. Even with the map we kept getting lost but we were glad we got to experience it. This year, when visiting we didn't see any pumpkins that we wanted to buy but there were some unique ones. I think there were more things to do like a corn bath which seemed to be pretty popular, however, everything there you need to buy a ticket for. I think everything is pretty reasonably priced besides the corn maze which is a little expensive in my opinion. They also sell food but I've never tried anything
google avatar

KC B.

Yelp
This maze is no joke! It is HUGE! Hella fun though! Got a bit lost here and there but my group & I used a map so luckily, we were able to follow it thoroughly and make it to the end. Dog friendly place. I suggest bringing water for sure if the weather is really hot. It was very crowded at the area where the pumpkin patch was but the maze wasn't as crowded. Wide enough to let foot traffic pass on each direction. I highly recommend this place and would come back!
google avatar

Laura B.

Yelp
Really fun fall activity! I recommend adding this to your fall bucket-list you can also buy food, snacks and treats here. I got 5 large pumpkins for $25, not bad at all! More catered to children I'd say.
google avatar

Devin H.

Yelp
Despite being really busy, parking was easy and the crew got people through the lines quickly. We went for the maze and loved it. It took us an hour to get out. The maze was fun with lots of bridges to look out over the whole maze and take pictures.
google avatar

Arielle A.

Yelp
This is a fun place for people of all ages to go to! Not only can you choose your own pumpkin to carve, but you can also participate in other activities--a corn maze, corn bath, hay ride tour, etc. There is also a seating section to rest and a concession stand to buy food. When my friends and I went, we did a self guided tour around the patch in pursuit of finding the perfect pumpkins. There were pumpkins of all shapes and sizes, and my personal favorites were the ones shaped like mushrooms. There is a big parking area at the patch with helpers to guide you when you come in and come out. Unfortunately, there are no row numbers or any indicators to remember where you parked, meaning it's easy to forget where you were. For this reason, I'd recommend taking a picture of the general area you parked so you're not scrambling around to find your car later on. Oh, and there is also a huge minion made out of hay at this pumpkin patch. Absolutely golden.

Yelp
The Cool Patch Pumpkins is the home of the 2019 Guinness Book of World Records Largest Corn Maze! Always a great place for a challenging corn maze, corn bath, kids fun and of course pumpkins! Every year their corn maze honors some group and this year they are honoring the military's Nine Line (medevac). Bring the whole family for pumpkin picking and kids fun. There is something for everyone here! This is a must visit pumpkin patch every year!
google avatar

Kaylee C.

Yelp
Such a fun pumpkin patch to visit! They have a couple different attractions: a HUGE corn maze, a corn "bath", some food, a pumpkin patch and hay rides. Corn maze- $20 (2022) per person. I don't remember it being that expensive last year. That's a lot for a corn maze in my opinion! But, it is HUGE. If you follow the map and you don't cut through the corn it will take you about an hour to complete the maze. It was very busy on a Sunday afternoon. Hundreds of people. Corn bath - $5 per person. You get to play in a big patch of corn seeds. Food - they have tri tip sandwiches, fries, onion rings, soft serve and snow cones available. The food quality is good. Pumpkin patch - there are pre picked pumpkins available to choose from, or you can go out into the fields and pick your own off the vine. We got 3 large pumpkins and 3 small ones for $36 total. Fairly priced. Hay ride - you can pay for a ride on a truck around the property. Not sure on the prices/time.
google avatar

Courtney A.

Yelp
Tri-tip sandwich: $15 Corn dog: $5 Soft serve: $7 Onion rings: $8 Fries: $6 Didn't come here and expect to spend $97 for food. The line is super long and not very efficient. It's also windy and there isn't a clean place to sit. Went to the Porto potties and one of the sinks didn't have soap or water. I also wish the dessert stand was included with the food because that's a second super long line I have to stand in. The tables were totally disgusting and no places to wash your hands other than at the bathroom stations. Also nobody wiping the tables down. It feels totally disorganized, random places to buy pumpkin tickets and the ticket for the maze. Everything had a separate charge. I wish they would just charge at the gate - you pay for everything in one fell swoop and are done with it. Might come back next year on a week day. It was absolute chaos on Sunday
google avatar

Luna R.

Yelp
A nice but busy place. A decent variety of pumpkins to choose from. Food is ok. Lines are long for no reason tbh. It's still a nice place to take the kids.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a cute family friendly place to explore. My review is for the corn maze part: I went with my group to do the corn maze. It was fun but, definitely a lot of walking (we finished in 2.5 hrs). I suggest bringing lots of water, a hat and a sunglass. You get a map when you pay for the entrance ($22). I recommend bringing a pen to mark on the map. I didn't lead my group but, I could tell it was confusing for those not keen on navigating. There were wooden picks with the letters and numbers (corresponding to the map ex. AA24) that were placed at dead ends or split pathways to guide you. Overall, a good experience except 1 thing...maybe some people didn't finish so...they cut through the maze which created an array of pathways. I saw countless people lost along with our group. I hope the owners of the place could check those spots and block it off or put a sign to help others not go astray. Things to note: -Parking is free (there will be 1-2 attendants with a flag to guide you) -The tickets to purchase the entrance to the corn maze and other things are located in the very back near the big white tent -They have snacks and drinks for sale

Brian L.

Yelp
The corn maze is massive and is pretty tough without the map so I definitely would recommend taking a map along. I went when the sun set and it added another layer to the challenge. Make sure to bring water and snacks as there is no stations in the maze. If they had a snack stand in the middle of the maze they would have a lot of customers. Would be 5 stars except that there are no employees in the corn maze and the markers/stakes frequently get moved around. The worst part is there were kids throwing corn over the maze walls with a lot of force but the workers did not do anything about this making it very dangerous.
google avatar

Cody T.

Yelp
Friendly staff. Great prices. The maze is challenging and fun for the whole family. Would recommend going early to avoid crowds. Maze takes anywhere from 1-3 hours depending on navigation skills.
google avatar

Ruby S.

Yelp
Love this place and love the corn maze. We do it every year. But this year, it was rough. I understand the need for irrigation, but I felt like I was literally LEAPING over valleys to get to each mound. I am slightly less physically abled than some, and ended up falling at some point and messing up my knee, but once again, I've literally done this every year, so I certainly did not go into this unprepared. I had two other people with me who had done this before and also felt this was just very much more difficult and strenuous than prior years. Bring water, wear good shoes, and plan for a couple good hours, but it's still a lot of fun. Unfortunately, if next year is as rough we may not be able to return. Felt bad for all the families with kids who also were having a rough time towards the end of the maze. :(
google avatar

Mike C.

Yelp
Great for going at least once with family. Small children will love the farm setting and running around the patch. They have various activities too... the huge maze can be enjoyed by all, from teens scaring each other to those who actually use the map trying to get out. Highly recommended for team building events for team managers/coaches doing youth sports. The only draw back is no discounts for large groups. Highly recommend going on a weekday if you're looking to avoid crowds.
google avatar

Nadine D.

Yelp
Went here last year(2022) in October to go pumpkin picking with friends & had a blast. You have the option of picking the pumpkins at the entrance area or going into the patch to pick out your own pumpkin. Me & my friends decided to pick our own pumpkins out in the patch. The field is big & there is a large selection of various pumpkin in the field to choose from, there is also various pathways to take leading to different types of pumpkins. Additionally, there other fun activities to do here, such as the corn maze & riding the tractor, you have to pay additional if you want to participate in these activities. I've been in the corn maze before & it massive & lots of fun exploring the maze too. In the maze there are areas where you can oversee the maze from above. I'm docking 1 star because when me & my friends went to pay for our pumpkins the line was extremely disorganized & unnavigable. It was hard to tell if your in the right line to pay for a pumpkin or purchase a ticket for the corn maze since they were in the same area.

Yelp
An awesome pumpkin patch with a world class corn maze and tons to do for the family and kids. Highly recommend the maze but beware even with the map it will take you 2-3 hours. Bring some water, some patience and a PEN!!!

Yelp
I remember coming here in 2014 with a huge group and having so much fun! Came back 7 years later and it's just as wonderful as I remembered it being! Parking is ample--don't feel stuck on finding parking right away. As i was walking towards the entrance, I saw rows and rows of empty spots. (It's not marked or anything--it's just dirt and you kind of guesstimate the spots and lines). $18 per person for the corn maze. It sounds like a lot, and my friends were skeptical on paying that much, but we actually had tons of fun getting lost and hitting dead ends! took ~3 hours without looking at a map, and everyone felt like they got their money's worth. The pumpkins were a bit lame... all the good ones have already been picked out, but after much searching, I found two good ones I liked ($5 for both of them!) They have a super wide variety too! Kind of sad that people smash pumpkins in the field :/ wish they respected the place more. Beautiful views and no regrets driving 2 hours to come here :)
google avatar

Mae O.

Yelp
Better to go in the evening or when it's cool outside. Went here at around 10am and the sun was beaming! The corn bath is $5 and the adults have to pay for it too! I've been to other places where it's free for children and adults to play in. My son just played on the rocking horses, the pyramid stacks of hay, and pulled the wagon. Ample of parking and the close the gate at 10pm, but I think the place closes at 8pm?
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
Very cool pumpkin patch and corn maze. They have a variety of food/snacks but they seem open to you bringing in your own snacks. Corn maze was impressive. Would say they could easily design the place up more but they have some cool hay minions and around the area to walk around. Probably the main thing to go for is the corn maze $20/person.
google avatar

CJ L.

Yelp
I love it here! My kids enjoyed the Cool pumpkin patch. We come here every year and my kids love to pick out their pumpkins. We love the food and the maze. Everything is kid friendly and you can have your dog here but they must be on a leash.

Marvin P.

Yelp
The corn maze is fun and soo long, my daughter have fun with it minions and some displays.

Hauna D.

Yelp
No refunds for this waste of time. People have pulled up the navigation posts to sabotage others and maze is almost as full of litter as it is full of corn! Don't bother with this ripoff.

Abagail L.

Yelp
Definitely would recommend for all age groups! There are many activities, food, drinks, etc. The corn maze was a hit! It was fun and was the highlight of the pumpkin patch. If you are planning on doing the corn maze, plan accordingly! Wear tennis shoes and bring water!Beware of the caterpillars.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I come to Cool Patch Pumpkins every October year to celebrate our anniversary. We decided heading to the patch early just because of parking and the weather. What I like about this particular pumpkin patch is of their HUGE dirt/grass parking lot. There are workers out and about that will help guide you. Once you're in the patch, there are cute decors and sculptures that you can take pictures of with your children/spouses or friends/relatives/coworkers. They also have yummy hot foods and sweets. We didn't try the hot food but got the sweet licorice instead. Lol So did we completed the largest corn maze? Absolutely! Beat it in 1 hr and 20 mins! Thanks to me!! Lol kidding. I only navigated to the blue bridge and thereafter my boyfriend took charged. $15.00 for the corn maze and you get a map to help you through. The longest line to get tickets was the credit/debit line so BRING CASH if you want to get in the maze quicker! COVID procedures were in place. Mostly all staffs and customers had their masks on. BUT I would say, once you enter the corn maze, and you're walking around tirelessly trying to find a way out, you'd want to take out your mask just so you can breathe a little. But I recommend doing it when no one is near you. So be respectful and keep a good distance away from others! I love this pumpkin patch and although it's up in Davis, it is worth visiting just once for newcomers! Happy Halloween everyone!!
google avatar

Courtney O.

Yelp
I love pumpkins and pumpkin patches! We went on a Wednesday afternoon and it was the perfect time to go! There weren't very many people until after we were leaving. The people who were there, wore masks and social distanced which I appreciated, but there is no employee there who enforces COVID restrictions. We chose Cool Patch due to other reviews about COVID restrictions and the fact that they advertise having the "World's Largest Corn Maze." The corn maze took us about 30 minutes to get through and we loved it! We only passed a handful of people so it felt like we had the maze to ourselves for a while. The corn maze costs $15 per person, but is free for those under 5. There are lots of photo ops and they even have peddle cars and hay rides available. For COVID, they limit the number of people that can ride at any one time. The prices for pumpkins were great too - we took home 15 pumpkins for $30! We'll definitely be back next year!
google avatar

UT F.

Yelp
I think the last time I was at this corn maze was with some friends in 20+ years ago. Lol. It's been a while. This corn maze is now the world's largest corn maze. Took us around 2 hours to finish. It's more fun if you go at night. Monsters come out at night At the time, the corn maze was $20 per person. There was also a "corn bath" for kids to run around. Fun times!
google avatar

Crystal T.

Yelp
If you live in Solano County and don't want to cross the bridge, this is the best pumpkin patch to visit! The pumpkin patch is just off the freeway but expect traffic when driving into the location. It's very busy in October! Cool Fact: This location is home to the World Record Corn Maze which made the 2014 Guinness Book of World Records. The corn maze was $15 a person (free for 5 years and under) It took me and my son almost 2 hours to complete the maze! Due to Covid, the corn bath is closed for the 2020 season. The Hay Ride is $5 a person (highly recommended) and Pedal Cars is $4. The concession stand was very inexpensive. They served hot dogs, fries, kettle corn and more. The pumpkins weren't expensive either. We had such a good time. Can't wait to return next season!

Yelp
Best pumpkin patch in the Bay! Err..... Dixon isn't quite the Bay, but it IS worth the drive up! This has been our fall tradition since 2013, and we've been back every single year since (except for 2020). We were so excited to come back in 2021. A couple of takeaways: - Dixon is HOT. But wear layers - after the sun sets it can get chilly! - The maze is a must! But it can take a long time, so maybe not the best for small children especially if they will get tired from an hour of walking. - Pumpkins galore! Such a fun spot to find your pumpkins and pick them right off the vine. The selection can be hit or miss year to year, but the prices are very affordable and I feel like the more you buy the better the price. So stock up! - They do accept cards now but cash will make things easier! - Parking is on a dirt lot. Maybe skip your car wash before coming here lol. Cool Patch Pumpkins is the best! Can't wait for 2022.

Yelp
I've driven by this[pumpkin patch and corn maze my entire life. This year, we ventured in! - The pathways are about 3-4 feet wide. I never felt claustrophobic. - Go early, buy your tickets to get the map. Map out your route before you head into the maze. It took us about 90 minutes to go through! - Pack a pen, water and snacks, and if you go at night, bring flashlights. - At night, there isn't great light in the maze. - Food truck type food is available on weekends. Otherwise, they sell candy, water and soda - There are portapotties at the patch. Take a photo at the finish line and go pick a pumpkin!

Yelp
Really huge corn maze, but a bit expensive and not toddler friendly. I stopped by on a weekday with my family and it was super empty, it was also a little early so they hadn't set up the bbq pit or any other rides yet. The corn maze was open though, so my family and I decided to give it a try. The price was $18 per person and young kids were free. They did advise that young kids might have trouble since it's a really large maze and you can't bring a stroller or wagon since it can get bumpy. It seemed a little price to me, but they did have veteran discounts if that applies to you. My three year old had a good time and he walked pretty much as much as we did. I will say we didn't do the entire maze tho because if you take a wrong turn at the start then you basically waste 15 minutes and have to go all the way back. The same applies in the second half when you cross the bridge. We took probably 3 shortcuts and it still took us 40 minutes to make it to the other side so I would advise bringing water and using the bathroom before just in case you get lost. Overall it was fine, just not much to do on the particular day we went.

Yelp
Best pumpkin patch ever for growing many different unique ones! I recommend you pick the pumpkin up from the bottom and not the stem since it has some slight spikey peach fuzz on there that can prick your finger or bring gloves. Pumpkin patch entry is free, but costs adults $18 for the maze entry. Also their maze is pretty large! It is noted to be NorCals largest maze. I recommend bringing a flashlight if you go at night and a map. Have fun!

Yelp
There is a reason why there are so many looker loos when you drive past this place on the Freeway and traffic happens. Just stop and go! It's worth it for fall fun activities. Yea, it can be balls hot but push through it. The corn maze is amazing, long so be prepared. If you're looking for unique and standard pumpkins/gourds this is the place. Recommend.

Yelp
Overpriced at $20 per person. The map they give you is absolute crap! Neither the entrance or exit is marked on the map. The map is so cluttered, that you need a pen to mark where you are at intervals because if you take your eyes off the map, you've lost where you are on it. Guess what? No pens or pencils here. I'm very OCD and like to be precise. There are absolutely no markers in this maze to help you find out where you are. My advice...bring a pen to mark your trail on this crappy map.

Yelp
We've gone a few times and each time we have the best time. They have a concession stand before you enter the maze. Wish they had water for sale at each bridge because its gets really hot when you are walking but overall great family fun..

Yelp
This corn maze was massive!!! I went here this weekend and we had a great time, and we got 9 pumpkins all different sizes for only $15! It is a pretty penny to do the maze, $20/person. We had a party of 7 so it was a clean $140 for us. It took us about 1 1/2 hours to complete the maze, taking into account we had 3 kids,(10 and younger), and didn't pay attention to the map and didn't notice the markers on the ground in the maze that assists you on the map to find your location. This is a great place to just enjoy the company you are with, and work together to find your way out. It was nice to step away from technology and screens, and actually spend quality time that was a fun filled adventure. There is also a "corn bath" that is a swimming pool sized area that is filled with corn kernels. I didn't personally go in it, but everyone that did was having a good time. Last, but not least, the pumpkin patch is huge! There were so many different varieties of pumpkins to freshly pick, every step led you to a new unique pumpkin that was different from the previous one you saw. This place was a 10/10 for just down to earth fun and adventure. We will be back next year to do it all over again!

Yelp
I thought the prices were too high, there was a lack of monitoring in the maze and in the corn pit. Kids were ripping up the corn, throwing corn and generally being disruptive. Kids in the corn pit were throwing the corn and taking corn home but stuffing it in bags and pockets, while their parent looked on.

Yelp
We were looking forward to coming here for weeks to check out the corn maze and pick out pumpkins. After making the hour & a half drive here, we were told individuals in wheelchairs are not permitted to go in the corn maze. We understood their no liability claim. Incredibly disappointed we were unable to take our friend in a wheelchair through the corn maze. We will be spending our money elsewhere. ***Update*** we went to Bishop's Pumpkin Patch in Wheatland and had an amazing experience.

Yelp
I went here around 6pm with 3 friends. We wanted to do the maze at night since we thought it would be more fun. We all came prepared with flashlights in case it got too dark. I even brought an extra flashlight in case one ran out of battery. When we were in the maze, we noticed people had moved the sticks that tells us where we're supposed to be. That made things difficult. As time went on, the maze got extremely dark and felt pitch black! Good thing we all brought flashlights! Then more time passed and each of my friend's flashlights slowly died, so we were running out of light. It took us about 2 hours to finish this maze. I'd recommend this place, but if you're doing this maze at night, then bring a flashlight or two!

Yelp
October 29, 2022 This is review number, Maestro or Maestra a few notes on the piano if you please, three hundred ten (310) of this very fun Cool Patch Pumpkins! Cost of $20.00 per person ages three and up, for the Corn Bath, cost $5.00 per person for ages three and up! No Military Discounts! The rules say with the Map should take person one hour to two hours to complete the maze! Do not take short cuts, if take short cuts, it may take even longer! Think FIELD OF DREAMS! If you build it, they will come! There were eight of us (October 27, 2022)! There are bridges, orange color, gray color, blue color, green color, the red color! When one crosses the red color bridge, they are getting close to the Finish Line! Okay, so I timed the actual time! We started at 5:28 p.m.! We finished at 6:51 pm.! Okay so that is one hour and twenty three minutes! One area had shapes, moons, hearts, stars, butterflies! I somewhat bend down, had one in the group take a picture of me being the butterfly! Since we did not try the food, since we did not try the drinks, I cannot write of that! There was an area to buy food, there was an area to buy drinks! Some people wear masks, others did not! Getting close to November! As many people know, Salvation Army gets very busy during the months of November during the months of December! This may be it for awhile, wishing every reader safe Halloween, safe Veteran Day, safe Thanksgiving, safe Christmas! Too bad people do not realize children need help all twelve months, not just November and not just December!

Yelp
So expensive....I remember when the tickets used to be like $10. $22 is pretty overpriced for no upgrades to the experience at all

Yelp
Was a bit underwhelmed with my experience at cool patch pumpkins. It seems very disorganized, there are no signs really that have any indication or instructions of how to pick the pumpkins from the patches for first timers. Myself and my boyfriend came here for the first time today, and apparently they have wagons available because there are several large patches spread out- where you have to spot and detach the pumpkin you want from the vine. Sadly, there were no carts left and we arrived a little after 11am. Also no shady areas and it was very hot. It's a nice place, but I think there needs to be enough carts, and at least one sign that explains how to do things for first timers. Nice patch overall, but very hot and the sun just beats down on you. Since there were no available carts, my boyfriend and I carried four pumpkins ourselves all the way to the front check out. It was a good workout, but I came to the patch for a nice fall experience not an intense workout in the hot sun. Also, the maze is 20 dollars per person and that is much too high of a price in my opinion so we skipped out on it. Not sure if I'd come back here.

Yelp
This place came recommended but I am not sure why. We went on a Monday afternoon, there was not a lot of people there until a group of students arrived for a field trip. The bathrooms had no toilet paper and the hand washing stations were all out of water and paper towels. The corn maze was advertised at $20 per person and when we got to the register the worker said it was $40 per person. The corn kernel jump is $5 per person including adults and all children over 1. A good size pumpkin will cost you $25-$30. The majority of small pumpkins had flying bugs on them. I would not recommend this place to anyone, nor will we be coming back. By far the worst pumpkin patch we have ever had the displeasure of going to.
