Honest Wine, Rustic Setting
This is a rare gem: a small winery that actually practices estate viticulture, growing the grapes they produce their wine from. This integrity is something I wholeheartedly admire, especially when so many modern operations simply source and sell bulk wine.
The staff were friendly and attentive.
However, the setting is significantly dated. The cellar door is old-fashioned and quite run down, and the restaurant looked distinctly shabby from the outside (I did not dine there).
They don't claim to be a luxury operation, so criticism must be fair. If you prioritize authentic, estate grown production over modern polish, this is a great stop.
