The hotel is very clean and rooms have everything ended for a nights rest.|All the staff were great but the manager was the best with everything from booking to offering information.|Ordered takeaway from the restaurant and wow. For a small hotel in a smaller town we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. |Will definitely stay again when travelling this way.|Thanks.

On my way back to Perth from Bromus via Norseman. Stopped here as it was the first place I saw after filling up, and I was shattered. Check in was via a charming French lady and, to my embarrassment, even though I do speak French my partial deafness, combined with fatigue, floored me. Room basic, tired but clean. Air con worked, and I simply did not want to get out of the bed in the morning. The rest of threclientele were clearly very local, of a local kind from a local place, but no issues. I had lamb shank and mash, which made a welcome change from the Aussie version of Python's 'Spam': "You can have egg, chips and chips; chips, pie, chips and chips with chips; chips, chips, chips chips and chips..." On leaving Coolgardie, I went past what would have been my alternative with my little camper van, the 'tourist village. No. Just no, no, no, no, NO.

Room 7, have stayed here before several times. Today though got to me, zero hot water all evening. Could not shower and had a average shaving experience using the kettle. Told I could use the kitchen microwave 😁, only to hear the kitchen staff bitchin whilst doing it. Why offer???

Rooms basic but fine. Evening meal good, but what made it for me was the service from the manager, Darren. Very communicative and professional. He even forwarded my shoes to my home address after I left them there. The motel is just off the Great Eastern highway (Perth to Kalgoorlie), but the road trains didn’t trouble me in room 8.

Spotlessly clean place. I had a late check-in which was organised by reception staff via the phone two days prior to my arrival. The ladies were very friendly easy to deal with, absolutely nothing was too hard for them. I arrived at midnight, everything was as they told me it would be. The place is spotlessly clean From top to bottom especially the bathroom. Only one minor issue would be water pressure in the shower but I assume that would be something you would find through the whole town not just this location Would highly recommend, and I will be back

As a Lynchian fantasy, everyone passing through should stop over if tired of driving and can't wait for the glitz and glamour, and options only a short distance away in Kalgoorlie. Place has just a whiff of the underlying threat of violence, I mean the fantasy of violence not reality, like in the film Wolf Creek. When one ventures into outback Oz, passing through on the way to somewhere else or maybe on vacation to experience the outback, many of us are looking for something a little different, something with bite, eccentricity, character, unexpected events. Look no further, you just may recieve all of the above at this motel, if you be nice. Big home style meals with alcohol, a reasonable selection, outwardly friendly atmosphere, perfect outdoor dining area, inside is more drab, but probably preferred by many clientele. Overpriced, if you like showers easy to operate with good water pressure. Quite clean, but rooms do not get cleaned daily when staying more than one night, beds are not made or new towels provided. I think you have to ask for these things. That's all OK, I promise you, as the hotel has a feeling straight out of a david lynch film.
