Coolum Beach Holiday Park

We absolutely loved this park. Probably the best we have stayed in on our trip recently. The lady I originally booked with made sure I was close to an amenities block which i really appreciated being next to during the night. The block was clean and new. The park was well set out. Nice grassy areas and large sites.|It was lovely to see that doggies were allowed in the park....many of which we got to say hello to !! We will certainly return. Maybe next time we will rent one of the lovely cabins onsite. The lady at reception was extremely friendly and helpful.|Thank you xx

We stayed over Christmas a few years in a row but have decided we wont be going back. Location is great and the amenities are good and well maintained, but that is where it ends. Some of the designated spots are so small that it's impossible to manoeuvre a caravan into the spot without the aid of the tractor which they have now started charging for. And they charge to get you in and out. The final decider was when they told us we can only book to check in and out Saturdays. Want to check in Christmas Eve? Nope not if it's not Saturday, this year we would have to book from the 20th if we want to stay over Christmas. And everyone checking in the same day is a nightmare. We had a chance to ask for a better spot when another group said they wouldn't be here the next year. The staff said we'd have to contact them later, which we did and were told it wasn't available anymore. The spot is good, the amenities fine but they are charging the earth and then expecting you to arrange your trip around their convenience

Great location. Nice town. Stunning beach. Plentiful bars/restaurants and coffee shops directly opposite the campsite. Would recommend Pitch 224 which is Top of the Dunes, right by the short path to the beach. Good facilities. Would stay again.

The best location for a caravan park. Looking out the back window from our club lounge with Coolum beach only metres away. All facilities are excellent and well maintained and everything you can possibly need a short stroll away. Our new favourite place. Already booked again in July !!

Arrived early Easter Friday after deciding not to travel up on the Thursday night. Our late check in pack was waiting for us in the pick up box. We drove to our site to park the caravan only to find our van too big (my fault) knowing the park was fully booked my heart sank thinking we would have to leave and where would we find anything on Easter weekend. Knowing that previous campgrounds of the commercial kind I have found park staff not to obliging or friendly. Dreading the possibility outcome I slowly walked to the office which wasn’t yet open. Found a lovely young lady who said would send the caretaker over. Well could not have been more surprised. The attitude and friendliness was well above expectations. He said we’ll make it work. Don’t worry you be fine. He parked our van on the site for us and made sure we were happy. |This kind of attitude is getting harder to find these days and we were both blown away. Had a fabulous weekend. Great camp ground. Clean & tidy and excellent location. Definitely be back

Not recommended! For 80 AUD/ night (powered site), advertised as Free wi-included. Whereas the reality is that the wi-fi is provided by the city and is unusable from our site….. When asked about it: ‘well that is how it is, it is not even our wi-fi. There are many coffees nearby’ With that allegory there is public toilet and shower by the beach as well…..

Absolutely fabulous park to visit. Accommodation (cabin) was perfectly set out and spotlessly clean. The park was well maintained and the staff were great.

Very frustrating to book a site a year in advance then on arrival moved to a different site where my water hose connection was well out of reach. There was no apology nothing, similar occurrences have happened to other caravaners in our group, needless to say as much as we love Coolum we will not be staying there again.
