Cooper’s Beach is absolutely beautiful! One of the most peaceful and well-kept beaches I’ve been to in New York. The sand is soft, the water is super clean, and the whole vibe is just calm and relaxing. Perfect for a day to disconnect and reset your mind. There’s a food shack nearby with decent options, and bathrooms on-site which is always a plus. Parking can be pricey if you’re not a local, but honestly it’s worth it for the scenery and peace.

Google
A very hazy day when we went, but it was obviously a beautiful beach, with a cafe, food shop. Clean toilets. Sand was great, and plenty of it. Parking is for residents only. We went on a quiet Friday, car park 15% full. We aren’t residents, but parked anyway. We were there 90 minutes without problems. The sand was beautiful. The fine is $250 if caught.

Google
Beautiful beach, perfect for kiddos. Water and sand are clean. Nice quiet place to sit and relax while enjoying the waves and sunset.

Google
This private Southampton Beach lives up to it's reputation of being rated as top 10 best beaches in the world. Parking is limited I usually bike when I summer in this area. I helped plan my friends proposal on this Beach, a helipad is nearby as he lives in Manhattan. Best proposal yet at this perfect prestine beach, it was like having the beach to ourselves.

Agnes Jodes

Google
Beautiful. Not crowded. The sand was smooth and soft. Only downside is parking is pricey. It’s $55 a day for a flat rate. but looks like it’s the only public place to park if you’re not a local

Emily Wang

Google
Beautiful beach with soft white sand and live music throughout the summer. You need a parking permit that can be pricey but its worth it to spend the day. They renovated the concession stand a few years back and now serve local favorites like Shippy's and for breakfast, love getting a bagel and coffee to start my mornings.

Google
I love waters so much and I’ve never been at the beach in such a long time and Coopers Beach satisfied all of my summer getaway cravings! The location is awesome, the locals are very friendly and the staff are amazing! It doesn’t usually get really crowded during weekdays and i felt like we have the beach all to ourselves because we arrived early so we’re like the first beach goers in there. The beach is very clean with helpful lifeguards on duty and very accommodating. It’s quiet, peaceful and is definitely one of the best beaches I’ve ever been to! Highly recommended!

Google
Thought this beach may have just been hype but was really pleasantly surprised. Gorgeous long stretches of soft white sand that really is one of the cleanest beaches I've been to on the east coast, no shells, seaweed, etc. Gorgeous mansions in the backdrop and amazingly quiet during the week. $50 to park for the day but has restrooms, food, and plenty of space. We went after parking charges ended to catch the sunset.

Rob M.

Yelp
Great beach, very relaxing and clean. My family had a great time and it was a great experience.

Andie E.

Yelp
4.5 Stars but rounding up to 5 Stars. Why not a perfect 5 Stars? Cooper's Beach is a public beach, not a private beach, but they charge $50 for parking!.....Outrageous!! Cooper's Beach is just BEAUTIFUL! We even saw 2 rainbow when we were there! White sand and hardly any garbage on the beach. They even have a dispenser with suntan lotion! Slather some on and don't get sunburned! They also have a cafeteria, outdoor shower, and restrooms near the parking lot.

Toula H.

Yelp
I am obsessed with this beach , yes living in New York there are countless amount of beaches you can go to, to swim and tan etc... however this beach blows them out of the water . It's a beautiful beach in south Hamptons, if your not a local which we are not parking is $51.50 card only no cash and you can rent chairs and umbrellas for the day . The sand is white and soft and the beach is so nice , the people are so respectful and it's not the typical rift raft of teenagers blasting music and people screaming and getting drunk . It's just a nice time . They have a really cute place to eat or get a drink by the parking lot . Would recommend 10 out of 10.

Heather R.

Yelp
I always come to this beach off season it's so tranquil to chil and relax. I try appreciate the peaceful environment.

Ashok J.

Yelp
I usually look at the sand and the cleanliness. This beach is the best. Clean sand and a wonderful shoreline. We had a great time in Coopers Beach. Luckily for us, there was live music right on the beach and it enhanced the vibe. Loved our time here.

Marie AK C.

Yelp
I've had Cooper's Beach (well - and The Hamptons) bookmarked for quite some time now. Cooper's Beach in Southampton is often considered one of the top ten beaches in America. It's known for its breathtaking views and white sandy shores with the backdrop of nature and historic + extravagant mansions. I think if I ever have to move back to the East Coast, it would be here.. somewhere in the SouthHamptons - perhaps my future husband lives here!?! :) I visited Cooper's Beach during the 2020 Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The weather was surprisingly mild for The Hamptons. Mid 50 degree weather! I can't wait to come back and experience this gem during Peak season. Because it's off season, you won't be subjected to the $40 parking fee which is nice. Plenty of parking in the off season. I can only imagine what it's like during peak season. Due to COVID, like every other beach in New York State, people must social distance 6 feet apart and wear masks when in crowded areas. It wasn't crowded at all. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and the sand is white + soft. I definitely want to plan a trip to come back during Peak Season...

Sonia P.

Yelp
Lovely beach which was not even a 10 minute drive from where we were staying in South Hampton. Gorgeous sand, awesome water and the friendliest seagulls! All my favorite things to enjoy on a beach! :) It had a lifeguard on duty and wasn't too crowded at all when we arrived at around 10 in the morning on a Sunday. The beach was clean and the beach shack cafe was very convenient. Spent some fun times here! Also while dogs aren't allowed during the day, you can bring your pets after 6pm when it's less crowded. Will definitely be back again soon!

Marlon T.

Yelp
Cooper's Beach I think is the beach to go to if you're visiting the Hamptons. I know there are many others, but this one is in a central area, has amenities like fresh water outdoor showers, a snack bar (expensive; $4 for an ice cream!), it's well maintained, and clean. Furthermore, they have a lifeguard on duty during the busy time of year and the vibe is relaxing here. I came the Friday of Memorial Day weekend which meant they were not checking for parking yet! They weren't going to start checking for parking until Saturday of that weekend (considered the start of the busy summer season). Parking is otherwise $50 for the day. Other people on Yelp advise where you can park for free. Obviously, $50 is ridiculous unless you're planning to spend the whole day there and you're bringing lots of people and stuff. For one of America's greatest beaches in terms of location, history, and beauty, Cooper's Beach the place to be. If you drive around the area, you can peek at multi-million dollar mansions that are probably owned by a celebrity you like. I guess that's why they have a $50 parking fee to keep the poor from "degrading" the area!

Joan L.

Yelp
The beaches in the East End of Long Island are glorious! No high rises here. Sand, surf, and the dunes in a back drop of multimillion dollar mansions and beachfront "cottages". In Southampton, there are plenty of beaches you can go to that are quieter. However, those beaches do not have amenities. Cooper's Beach has lifeguards, bathrooms, and a snack bar on steroids. Of course you can buy slushies, ice cream, hamburgers, hot dogs. But how many snack bars serve gourmet sandwiches and lobster rolls? You can also purchase water toys, clothing, and souvenirs. All of these amenities make it a perfect beach for kids. It is also the perfect beach to take the handicapped or elderly as there is a carpet so wheelchairs or walkers can get closer to the water. Beware, the water here can be rough! The waves were so high that my boys had a blast with their boogie boards. It was like a natural water park! The water can also be very cold even in July! A village sticker is required or it is $50 for parking. Yes, $50 for the day! Cooper's Beach however, is one of the few beaches in the Hamptons where you can actually pay for parking if you do not have a sticker! Even with the large parking lot, parking can be tough on nice weekend days. Go early or late. Enjoy!

Paty B.

Yelp
Super fun, and family friendly. Also a nice place for relaxing. One of the best beaches on Long Island.

Ada W.

Yelp
Probably one of the best beaches in NY that I've been to. Sand is clean and fine. Barely any rocks or shells. Water looks good. Waves were really strong though. Took a tumble a couple of times. I was only able to last 5-10 minutes in the water before having to get out just to reorient myself and take a breather. Im not a good swimmer. Definitely a workout. $50 to park. Non residents can only go on the weekdays. Residents only for weekends. Went there on a fairly cloudy summer monday and had a great time. Social distancing on the beach and it wasnt that crowded. Everyone camped at least 10 ft away from each other. Must wear masks when using the bathroom. The showers werent working though. The parking seems expensive but I really enjoyed my day and felt like it was worth it. I didnt have to stress about people being to close to me as I did with other beaches in NY (jacob riis and jones beach) which were much busier even on a weekday. They also have alot of life guards there and saw them in action. They have 2 people that sit together on each high chair to monitor the waters and like a whole group (about 4 people) that sit underneath them and kinda just hang out until help is needed.

Denise C.

Yelp
Beautiful clean beach with facilities on hand. Only negative is the steep price to park, and the Ocean was a little cold for my liking. Overall it was a nice place to visit.

Jamie S.

Yelp
This is one of the beaches in Southampton that has amenities. In order to access this beach, you would either need a parking pass to allow you to park in their parking lot or you could get dropped off and not have to have a parking pass or pay to access the beach. They have lifeguards on duty. They have a stand where you can rent chairs and umbrellas for ~$10-15 a piece. It's actually really nice because they will set up your chairs and umbrellas for you in the spot that you decide you want to be in. When you're done, you just leave them there and don't have to schlep them back, so it is really convenient. The sand is really clean and today there were not too many people there. In terms of amenities, there are bathrooms and a small take out only food stand that has pretty basic food (think hamburgers) and beer and wine. This beach is not a protected inlet, so the waves get to be pretty large. There were several people surfing on this beach. As for COVID precautions, they have posted signs requiring masks and social distancing, but no one was enforcing it. They set up sticks around the beach designating where people were allowed to set up their chairs so as to not allow people to get too close to each other. Overall, this was a really nice beach and relatively quite, but it could use some improvements in terms of the amenities offered.

Patrick T.

Yelp
Come here every year. Best beach in NY. Clean, soft sand,no rowdiness, a delight in every way. We stay at the Southampton Inn which has a free shuttle to and from the beach. Beats the $50 day parking fee. Can't say too many great things about this glorious place.

Kelly F.

Yelp
My favorite beach in the Hamptons. Small, quiet and very relaxing beach. It doesn't get crowded at all, as with most Hampton beaches. Only con is the parking; it's so expensive. Non residents pay alot but for a day at the beach and to avoid Jones Beach, I'll pay it.

Jane L.

Yelp
This is a beautiful beach. It's a slice of heaven as they say. Wanted to visit Cooper's Beach off season. Perfect place to just get away from it all from NYC. Long Island definitely has some fantastic beaches and they are clean. Lots of locals here stop by to get their exercise and walk their dogs. Everyone is friendly. If you ever get a chance drive around Meadow Lane and check out the luscious, beautiful homes, the architectural designs are just amazing. Lifestyles of the rich and famous. Great getaway for the weekend/week. So much to see and do in Southampton and the surrounding towns. Will be back again.

Barbara T.

Yelp
Rated one of the best beaches by Dr. Beach! Just beware of rough waves and very strong undertow!

Ry L.

Yelp
Best beach ever. The sand and water are very clean and it's easy to rent an umbrella and chairs. An umbrella is $15 and chairs are $10 each. The staff sets everything up for you and are super friendly. The cafe has beer and wine and snacks. There are also nice bathrooms at the cafe and sand showers. Parking is slightly overpriced at $50 per car per day, but it is nice to park your car then walk a few steps to the beach.

Anrana S.

Yelp
I will have to admit that I was a bit disappointed. Forbes listed this beach ad #5 in the country. The sign placard claims it is #1. But - it kinda looked like every other beach on the south shore of LI. The sign says parking is $40 per day. But since I was there in March, there was nobody collecting money. We were able to drive up to the drop off point and actually see the beach and water. But there is only parking for 3 or 4 cars there. Maybe if I came in summer I would find out what all the fuss is about. But there was nothing special here in March.

Rebecca S.

Yelp
This is the best speech on Long Island it is absolutely quiet and the sand is so clean. The beach is so quiet and the crowd is so family oriented a nice

Zach P.

Yelp
Beautiful ocean beach surrounded by palatial estates and mansions. Very clean and a wonderful place to relax and soak in the summer sun and enjoy the waves. I'd give five stars but it is pricey at $50 a car load. That being said, it's to be expected of the neighborhood and you do get bang for your buck.

Cecelia D.

Yelp
Beautiful, relaxing, clean beach. Concession area clean and offers a variety of foods, fruit, drinks and desserts. Can only say great things about this beach. They offer daily admission to visitors for a cost of $50.

Liselle L.

Yelp
During our trip to The Hamptons, we decided to come here, as we heard many positive qualities about Coopers Beach! The only not so fun aspect is the expensive parking - $50! However, if you do a little digging on the Internet, you can find out ways to evade the expensive parking and find some free parking! Unfortunately, I don't remember the way we drove to find it, although it can be done and is near Coopers Beach! We came on Labor Day around noon, and surprisingly there weren't many people on the beach! Perhaps because it was a bit chilly, although not too bad. Plenty of space for you to chill and lounge around! The waves were very large and sandy that day! It was a fun way to reunite with the beach waves and relax. :)

Yelp
How to Spend a FREE Day at a Beach in the Hamptons Hanging out in the Hamptons but don't want to spend an arm and a leg for parking at the picturesque beach you want to spend your Saturday at? No worries, this deal-loving soul has you covered in this step-by-step review, including directions to *FREE* parking lot! Tips for a low-cost weekend at a quintessential Hamptons beach: 1. Pack a picnic: make some sandwiches, grab a bag of chips and some fresh fruit, maybe some cool drinks - don't forget the water! If you're a tourist like me and can't make all your own foods, pick up some reasonably priced sandwiches at Sean's Place in Southampton - $8.99 for a decent-sized fresh turkey sandwich. 2. Don't forget your beach essentials - beach blanket, flip flops, sunscreen, an umbrella if you can fit one in your car! 3. Drive down Meadow Lane and drive to the *FREE* parking lot on Road D. There is a small parking lot there, and across the street, there's also parallel parking available on the farther end of Road D. We arrived fairly early on a Saturday morning - around 11am and there were still a number of parallel parking spots. I'd *highly* suggest that, if you arrive on a weekend in the summer, make sure you get here before noon to secure a parking spot. 4. Walk to the beach and enjoy yourself! There you have it - a reasonably priced afternoon at a beach in the Hamptons. With careful planning, you can avoid the truly outrageous $40-50 parking fees that some of these beaches are charging (why so much? To keep us plebeians out? That sort of exclusivity and lack of access is unfortunate.). With these tips, you can enjoy a relaxing day at a beautiful, calming beach and spend close to nothing while you're at it! Note: Because there's no $40 parking access fee, there's no showers or bathrooms etc. here, so make sure you...relieve yourself before you get here. Or just don't drink too much water! Honestly, securing the free parking spot here was such a sweet deal for me that I enjoyed that aspect almost as much as the beach itself!

Gigi A.

Yelp
My favorite beach in the Hamptons and rightfully so. This beach is really lovely and clean. I never have a bad time here. The beach itself is free but the parking is $40! Luckily, our hotel offers a free shuttle. There is a concession stand that sells food/drinks/ice cream. In a land where no one eats... The bathrooms were meh - don't expect sparkling clean bathrooms at any beach. These were OK though. If you're in South Hampton for a beach day, you won't be disappointed!

Jennifer H.

Yelp
It is a beautiful, clean beach. However, they are not offering $50 day parking passes for nonresidents on the weekends right now. They offer them on weekdays and there is also a sign which says they are only allowing 50% parking lot capacity. Another option is free parking on road D 2 miles down but the street is really small and parking fills up quickly and there are no facilities on that side. Another option which might save you money is parking your car about a mile away at a street parking spot and walking/uber or lyft. Showers are currently out of service too. I would say worth it to avoid crowds at other beaches but not sure it's worth the hassle at the same time.

David L.

Yelp
Pristine, considered to be one of the finest beaches in the Hamptons. Always maintained and a pass is required to park your car.

Joshua E.

Yelp
Just as people suggested me and my wife came here after 5pm and there was no charge for the parking. The beach was not crowded at all and people were on their way out. The beach was quite nice and plenty of space. It was also really nice that you didnt have to walk far from the parking lot to the beach.

Stephanie D.

Yelp
Very relaxing, quiet, classy beach. Not sure why anyone would park here for $45 but did see a bunch of cars that parked. This beach has bathrooms, showers, and a food stall open 7 days a week. Water is beautiful and clear. Air is fresh. Sand is soft.

Natalia P.

Yelp
Awesome beach, prices could be cheaper. But you're paying for the great quality! You can see a lot of families and very friendly locals. There are lifeguards on duty during beach hours. Chairs and umbrellas are for rent. Parking permit is $40.

Frank W.

Yelp
One of the best beaches in Long Island. Beautiful sand, powerful wave, and beautiful people to watch too! Do bring your own food. The bar is the only place nearly for food which has very limited options. The most expensive parking: 40 bucks!

Yu P.

Yelp
Dr. Beach ranked Cooper's Beach #1 in the country (2010). So much fun. You can spend all day here and feel like it's not enough. The waves get pretty fierce and high in the early afternoon. Surfers are not uncommon on this strip of beach. Advise: Come by mid-morning to grab a spot by the beachfront as it packs up fairly quickly. Also bring some cash as you will want to rent umbrellas ($15) and chairs ($10) unless you want to get scorched by the sun. You will bring back great memories while leaving behind all your stressors.

Nicolette T.

Yelp
My favorite beach on Long Island. It's definitely an exclusive spot and unlike any other beach. Extremely clean, not so crowded, and feels private. I come here every summer and highly recommend this spot. They do charge by the car and the last time I came I had to park in town and a shuttle picked us up.

Jin Y.

Yelp
Not the most amazing beach I ever been to but surely the most amazing beach I've been to around the NY area. This beach.. the water is actually blue, sand is white and soft, and just so clean. We drove quite far down where there is free parking (Road D). Most spots you need a parking permit, which residences of the area have. We got some food at the nearest supermarket and enjoy it at Coopers Beach because there is basically nothing around the free parking area. Not crowded at all and you see people drinking champagne out of a glass. I don't have to fly to Bermuda no more, I can just head over to Southamptons if I need a little getaway.

Robert Y.

Yelp
Beautiful Beach! We came on a Monday. Don't come on a weekend. $50 for parking for the day. I feel like I am in the Bay Area with these prices. $4 for a bottle of water. $5 for ice cream sandwich. $15 for an umbrella. $10 for a chair. Is this the French Riviera or the South Shore of Long Island. No, it's the Hamptons. I am so lucky these rich folks let me park and use the beach. Bless their greedy hearts. I suppose we can afford it.

Jesmy D A.

Yelp
Lovely, very clean and peaceful place, strong waves I brought my kids and never left them unattended. Not crowded and the neighborhood is very nice and quiet, I will visit this place again

George M.

Yelp
Cooper's Beach is outstanding. Rated this year as the second best beach in the US. While I haven't been to Hawaii I imagine that Hawaii or Florida would hold the title for the top 5 beaches in the US. But this isn't the case. There's Cooper's Beach in the most unlikely part of the US. Disbelief aside, this is really an incredible ocean beach not for the fainthearted. Its Southampton's only public beach ($40 bucks to park). Some non-residents take a very short cab ride to the beach from the town or even bike-ride there. I prefer the convenience of the beach stuff laden car. Fine white sand, very clean beach and clean facilities complete with a snack bar serving the usual burgers and dogs that one would expect from a beach snack bar. A general warning though to even the best of swimmers: in general Atlantic Ocean beaches are not to trifle with. The riptides can be--and often are--deadly.

Danielle F.

Yelp
I can't say enough about this beach. We were visiting friends here for the weekend and they took us here. Perfect sand. Great weather doesn't hurt as well! I look forward to coming back!

Gloria C.

Yelp
Great beach with nice soft sand and great atmosphere ....a little too pricy $50 cash $52 for credit.

Steven S.

Yelp
This man's opinion: I live in Southampton and I can tell you from years of experience that the Cooper's Beach that I and my family have come to love, JUST AIN'T THE SAME ANY MORE. They used to have a rubberized walkway that led from the parking lot area to the beach. This was great for the handy capped and older people who have trouble walking long distances on sand. Well, it's gone. So are the clean bathrooms that we've always taken for granted. The main killer and what will doom this beach for us is the transition in owner/operator of the "snack bar." This used to be an upscale place that we would go to, even when not going to the beach. Thick meatie burgers burgers have been replaced with hockey pucks that make a McDee burger look great. Gone are the lobster rolls, replaced with fish tacos that have one scrawny piece of fish and a little mayo wrapped in a clod taco skin. The once fabulous French fries which were dipped in a coating that made them THE BEST have been replaced by soggy FFs that make the steamed ones that I got in grade school seem like a delicacy. By the way, a tray with about 2 ounces of these FFs will run you $4.00. The excuse for a hamburger is now $7.50 A sandwich with a sliver of chicken, a slice of bacon, one thin slice of tomato a leaf of lettuce is now $10.50. The town put the concession up for bid and the one who offered the most money for the rights won. Shame that we, the users have lost. Hey guys, I'll be shopping at Citerala in town and bringing real food with me.

Mark F.

Yelp
Really nice white sand beach. Mild undertow, at least the the day we were there, so good for small kids. Concessions available, including burgers, fish and chips, salads, etc. Clean bathrooms. $40 for a permit/parking seems really excessive. I'll never complain again about $20 parking at Venice Beach. (Who am I kidding? I'll still bitch about it, but $40?) Be sure to check out the nice estates on the way in/out. Did I mention it's $40 to park? Noticed some cars parked along the highway when we were leaving, assuming they were seasoned Coopers Beach visitors.

Alexis R.

Yelp
The Sweet old Hamptons! Rockefeller's playground! Even though, I am poor as can be, I wanted to experience the luxurious Hamptons. I came here with my cousin and we were very impressed with this beach. Sorry to break it to you, but it cost $50 to enter the beach for a day pass. Welcome to the Hamptons. What do you expect? However, it was quite worth it. I did not like that they charged tax because I used my credit card to pay for the $50 fee. So instead of being $50, they charged me $52.10. Not the biggest deal in the world, but I would of preferred if someone told me before I used my credit card. The beach was very clean and well maintained. They had a Beach Cafe which was nice and had a tons of options for food. The staff was very nice and I appreciated that. The crowd was very classy and there was no chaos there. No radios, no hookahs, no alcohol, no loud people & no trash on the floor. Just peace and serenity. It is not a party beach at all. It's a beach to unplug from the world and just breathe in the sea breeze. They had wifi at the Beach Cafe which came in handy because service was spotty there. Not sure if it's because of my cell phone carrier or it was the location of the beach. This is beach is nice but to be completely honest, it is a little hyped up. It is a nice beach but I wouldn't say the best beach in America as the sign says when you enter the beach. I had a nice experience and would recommend to people who want to unplug from the world.

Sar P.

Yelp
Definitely the best beach in SH you can endlessly walk on it and enjoy the ocean and the beautiful houses

Stephan K.

Yelp
I love coopers beach!!! I love the new cafe there because it's clean, the BLT and the salads are my favorites. I prefer to go there during the week when it's less crowded, enjoying the beach and my yummy food....

Liz B.

Yelp
This is a nice beach, but overall, I don't think its worth the $40 non-resident fee. There are a number of other beaches in the area that are just as nice, less crowded and half the cost. We went on a busy holiday weekend, but sort of later in the day, and were pleasantly surprised when we did not encounter any lines or traffic at the entrance. Oddly, one of the kids working came over to our window and said "we're sold out of parking passes." I pointed out that there were at least 20 empty spots within eyesight, and she just repeated that they were sold out. We ultimately wound up hanging out for a few minutes and then re-entering and paying someone else without any issues, but I just thought the whole interaction was really strange. Like I said, the beach is really beautiful for a Long Island beach, and there is a huge snack stand. But the lines were crazy... especially for the women's bathroom. And the bathroom was nasty, no toilet paper and trash everywhere. I can imagine this beach is better during the weekdays when its less crowded.

Emily J.

Yelp
The stars are for location location location. It's a beautiful beach. The cost to spend the day not worth it. Plenty of other beaches to go to. So spend the $50 to park and bring your own food and beverages. Prices are outrageous-hamptons or not. It's absolutely ridiculous to spend $20 for a grilled cheese and nasty fries and a lousy soft drink. Or park in the village and take the free ride. Save the $50 from parking to buy their nasty food. Go to Road D. It's free.

Steven S.

Yelp
The beach is one of the ten best beaches in the continental USA. Clean, fine sand on a beach that seems to stretch out for ever. The only thing I'll warn yo about is the snack bar. In 2016, the village awarded the food service contract to a new vendor. The food has changed for the worse in my opinion. The burgers have shrunk and now make a regular Mc Dee burger look big. Gone are the coated french fries. Instead of offering complete plates with a meal, fires and drink, everything is now a-la-carte. With portions smaller and food quality not the same, I now bring my own food.

Rebecca S.

Yelp
Beautiful beach! My boyfriend was looking at sunglasses and couldn't decide on a specific pair so he walked away. A moment later the owner came over and handed him a brand new pair in the box! Plenty of parking, chair and umbrella rentals at a reasonable price.

Now im a caribbean beach girl that loves to swim in beautiful clear green blue water. However this was suprisingly a beautiful beach in New York. We had a great sunny day with no clouds and decided to take a trip to Coopers. We were recommended to go here by quite a few people in town. The parking is a bit on the pricey side at $40 but it was worth it. We entered without waiting long in line and parking was available without searching. There is a large rubber mat that runs closer to the beach area. The sand is a small grain beautiful white paradise. Most people carried there chairs and umbrellas or blankets. I saw 2 life guards on duty and a good amount of people in the water. The water was a bit cold but ok when you stay in for awhile. They have food and soft drinks for sale. The bathrooms were ok as far as cleanliness. Overall, friendly people and staff and a beautiful relaxing beach.i would definitely go back !
