Copa De Arbol Beach & Rainforest Resort

This might be the most beautiful place I have ever stayed in my life. The food was perfect, the staff were perfect, the cabins are beautiful. It’s a little bit difficult to get to, but the resort makes the journey so easy with a pickup from the airport and a boat ride to the resort. The word “no” is not in the staff’s vocabulary. The restaurant staff is incredible, specifically Daniel, Henry and Alonso. The attention to detail on every level is just unbelievable and the tours are really incredible. You won’t be disappointed with this resort, they go above and beyond for their guests at every level. I would give them 6 out of 5 stars if I could

We had the best time at Copa de Arbol! We planned to stay only 5 days but we are so glad we added 2 extra days to our stay. We did so many activities each day, horseback riding, snorkeling, a trip to the national park, a night hike, sunset cruise and massages. We even went off on our own adventures the nearby beach and town. It was so refreshing to hear the sounds of the ocean lull us to sleep and wake with the sounds of the birds. Truly paradise on the remote Osa peninsula. And the food was so fresh every day with a great variety of fresh fish, meat, shrimps and vegetarian options too. We will miss the fruit and happy hour for sure. The staff was incredible and I would definitely recommend this destination to my closest friends and family. The rooms were slightly rustic but only to the point that you really feel submersed in the nature - all amenities were there and laundry was done for us free of charge! Definitely a way to get bang for your buck!

Costa Rica - Copa De Arbol review |Short review: If you are looking for an all inclusive resort in the Drake Bay in a secluded, scenic location, just go ahead and book Copa De Arbol. The pictures don’t do justice to the resort and where its located! ||Long review: |Resort: Location, location, location. It’s truly rain forest meets the beach. You go to sleep listening to the sound of the crashing waves, wake up to the sound of birds (including Macaws) and head over to enjoy a hearty breakfast. There are hiking trails around the property with stunning views of the bay. Special call out to the kitchen crew. They serve amazing food every time and I kept looking forward to the next meal. The serving staff is excellent and very friendly. We truly felt the Pura Vida spirit at the resort. ||Activities: We booked the Corcovado national park tour, Rio Carlo tour, Mangrove tour, and night exploration tour. We got an exceptional tour guide in Anthony(Antonio) for 3/4 tours who kept our kids engaged and made all the explorations very enjoyable. We had an energetic guide in Reynoldo for the Rio Carlo tour and he had an infectious energy! (I can still hear his “chicos” call).

This is the fourth time I’ve stayed at this resort. First of all the staff is amazing more than accommodating. The food is really really good. The villas are five star. So many things to do so many places to see animals on property definitely would recommend this place 10 out of 10.

Wow!!! All I can say is you are made to feel special from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave.||We arrived on August 3rd and as it’s a wet landing, we were met at the beach by Lisseth (front desk) and other staff that helped with the luggage. Lisseth was super friendly and met us with such a warm welcome. Our luggage was taken to the room while we were met with nice cool drinks at the lobby. Brayan, also at the front desk was very helpful as well.||Food - all the meals were delicious and creative so kudos to the chef. The complimentary drinks were also refreshing and creative as well. The icing on the cake though were the people. The staff that waited on us were super friendly, attentive and made us feel so welcomed. So enjoyed hearing their stories and how passionate they were about the hotel and making sure we enjoyed our stay. Thank you Daniel, G., Alonso and others that made such a great team.||Things to do - they offered a variety of tours one could book but also had hiking trails you could take on your own. The beach is also right there as well as the beautiful infinity pool.||Accommodation- the room/cabana was beautiful, had air conditioning and laundry was an option.||I could say so much more but to end this, when we left to catch our flight to San Jose airport, we had another wet landing and they were thoughtful to provide towels s water to rinse our feet.||Truly an amazing experience and would recommend this place. The beauty, quietness and friendliness of the staff is truly impressive. Oh - let’s not forget the beautiful wildlife from monkeys, birds like Tucans and Scarlet McCaws ( you’re fortunate to see them).||Many thanks for making our first visit to Costa Rica a very memorable experience and look forward to returning, LORD Willing.

We were just at Copa de Arbol last week, and our experience was nothing short of incredible. The property itself is stunning, but it was the people who made our stay truly unforgettable. The staff went above and beyond in every interaction.||What really stood out was how quickly and kindly they jumped in to help us when we needed to make unexpected flight changes. Their support took so much stress off our shoulders and reminded us how special it is to stay somewhere where the team truly cares.||From start to finish, the hospitality was impeccable. We can’t recommend Copa de Arbol highly enough and are already looking forward to returning.

We had the most magical and relaxing stay at Copa De Árbol! Everything about the resort is absolutely perfect—from the beautiful landscape and wildlife to the delicious food and drinks to the friendly and attentive staff. They truly make you feel like family. When our taxi had trouble locating us for pickup, Summer quickly contacted Lisseth who stayed in communication with both the taxi driver and the ferry boat captain to make sure we would arrive on time. Lisseth also quickly rescheduled our Cano Island trip when it was postponed due to the tsunami warning and substituted horseback riding which turned out to be one of our favorite activities. Lisseth, Brayan, Albert, Daniel, Greivin, Alonso, Esteban, Henry, Isaac, Anthony, Chocolate and many more made this trip the adventure of a lifetime! We left part of hearts at Copa De Árbol and can’t wait to go back!! Pura Vida!! ❤️

This is one of the best resorts we have ever been to. The staff is unbelievably kind, thoughtful, attentive, and helpful. One morning we missed the breakfast window and they still brought it to our room. Daniel, Henry, and Alonso were the best wait staff we have ever experienced. The reception staff Lisa and Bryan were exceptional. Lisa knew I liked a certain sauce offered at the restaurant and went out and bought some for us to take home with us. They truly treat you like family here!! Never seen anything like it! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
